Highly recommend HomePros Cooling & Heating for a new A/C installation in Fort Myers. I obtained…read moreproposals from several well-regarded local HVAC companies before replacing the system in my Fort Myers condo, and HomePros ultimately stood out for the combination of fair pricing, a thorough proposal, and the confidence they gave me in the quality of the installation. One of the owners personally came out to evaluate the job and prepare the estimate. He was straightforward, knowledgeable, and never high-pressure. He clearly explained the equipment and installation process and answered all of my questions before I committed. HomePros installed a new 2-ton Comfortmaker system, including the thermostat, UV system, surge protection, condensate overflow protection, permitting and inspection. The installation crew was professional and careful, and everything was completed exactly as promised and at the agreed price. I did quite a bit of research before choosing an HVAC contractor, including comparing equipment, warranties, installation procedures, reviews and pricing. HomePros provided excellent value and, just as importantly, inspired confidence throughout the process. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to anyone looking for A/C replacement or HVAC installation in the Fort Myers area.

The good first, Jonny is a personable and friendly gentleman, and he wrote the best quote by far…read more The price wasn't the best, but the quote showed he'd listened and paid attention to the details regarding my desired mini-split install. Unfortunately, from me accepting the quote, it all began to fall apart. He apparently had no idea on the requirements to get Collier County approval, as it has been 4 months, and now I am required to go into the County office to file notarized paperwork. I have had to remind him, every two weeks, when no new paperwork has been filed, as he seems to have forgotten about me. He never communicates with either me, or the County, without me reminding him this is still outstanding. On June 10th, I made my final payment (I know, my mistake, I never should have paid before the WHOLE job was finished) and now, August 26th, I get an email that I have to go into the County office to file a "Notice of Commencement". If you do choose to go with Semper Fidelis, I strongly advise you don't make final payment until he has gotten all the legal requirements of the install completed, otherwise you will likely end up in the same situation I am in, doing all the follow up, and having to check on the County website to see if Jonny is even doing anything.
