Pork adobo, lumpia, rice, and pancit bihon
Nickel L.

Great little spot right outside the ferry terminal! I was lucky enough to stop by and get some very flavorful pork adobo. A generous serving of perfectly cooked, tender, pork adobo definitely made me nostalgic for my mom's cooking. The lumpia is crispy and delicious. You will not be disappointed! Service was warm and friendly and made me glad that I was able to sample this hidden gem. I will definitely be coming back!

Pancit and lumpia plate! So yummy!

Stopped by on my way home and the lady at the front was so nice! I ordered the pancit and lumpia dish and it was so delicious! The lumpia was freshly fried and so crispy! Will be back again (maybe tonight) to try the adobo! Thank you, Island Cuisine for making my tummy happy!

Some Combo!

A great place for a quick bite for lunch! This is the spot in Bremerton if you are craving for some decent Filipino food. There is usually no line so you will get your food fast. The service there is good. Friendly and with a smile on their face. I usually get the same combo every time I go there. My favorite so far is their lumpia. I'm always a fan of lumpia, egg roll, something fried. Their food tasted decent, not the best Filipino food I had but its a quick grab for lunch so who cares. They do serve a large portion of food and its very affordable for those who are on tight budget. $10 under!!! Overall, I would come back here once in a while when I'm craving for their lumpia.

Island cuisine is the closest to home made Filipino food, I wouldn't choose anything else.

A great place to grab some lumpia. Buck a piece. This is the real deal. Right across from the ferry. Limited hours.

Heard this was an excellent pit stop at the Ferry, and a pit stop for hungry Navy personnel.

Keep in mind the menu also changes, so call for what's served that day. I ordered the chicken adobo meal, my husband ordered the garlic chicken meal, and we got four extra lumpia with our order. The portions are huge, you really get your money's worth. Although the menu is small, the focus is on the food quality and it shows. I wish there were a few meat options for the lumpia, but they were still delicious.

This time i was greeted by a young girl who was super fun & helpful. I should have asked her relation to the owner gentleman. I wanted that chicken coconut curry. Man it was amazing. I ate it for 3 meals. Each one better than the last. I even got some extra curry on my rice. So coconutty & the chicken was delish. The lumpia are fricking yummy. I got 3 extra. Their rice is this consistency that I love & works so well with chopsticks. The owner came out & we chatted, he confirmed the 1 year was coming up. They truly have grown & established themselves. Great Philippine food is such a treat. Great people serving it is just a blessing.

The problem was that the bags were right behind an incorrect sign on the refrigeration case. I hadn't bought Kaffir lime leaves in years, the last time they were packaged dried in the bag. I just figured this time that perhaps the leaves were being sold fresh now. At least the Chinese Long Beans actually were Chinese Long Beans.

But last week…read morewhile picking up some fried chili crisp, the bottle was stacked so tightly in-between a row of two other products, I accidentally knocked a jar over. And in a move to save the jar I quickly moved my basket under the falling jar to catch it to stop it from breaking in the floor. Unfortunately, the quick motion of my basket caused a bottle of banana ketchup to be knocked off a lower shelf and break in the floor. Upon, checkout I was made to pay for the bottle that broke. Okay, I get it you're a small business and every penny counts, and I average over $100 of my grocery budget there every month. But from a customer service standpoint to make me pay for accidentally knocking a bottle to the floor? Sure you saved $2.69. But once again from a customer service pov, did you save $2.69 OR did you LOSE over $1200 a year in patronage, because I'm never coming back. There's other Asian groceries in the area that I can get all the same things I get at your store.
