Today, I went in for a haircut only to discover that this place (609 Blackhawk Blvd) is now a candy store. I don't know if the barbershop moved or closed down, but I'm sad that I wasn't able to get a good old fashioned hair cut. I happened to pass another shop that might be a suitable replacement between Portland and Merrill on 4th Street in Beloit. I didn't catch the name as I went buy, but it's a black building on the east side of the road.

Back in December 2024 I had an appointment at this Rockford store for my 5 year old. When I got there the manager decided to rather than take my 5 year old for the hair cut to make us wait over an hour for someone else to cut our hair. I complained on their survey the wait time was "15 minutes" and "on deck" on the app but changed to an hour wait and took over an hour. After sending the complaint the next time in, my oldest son (where we filled out the complaint) was "no longer welcome" at the state street store. All because of a complaint for how long we had to wait for a 5 year old. On top of prices constantly going up, no longer worth the hair cut. still no follow up from the store so must not need the business.
