This 3.5 acre park is named for Raleigh's mayor Isabella Cannon, who died at the age of 97 in 2002. The park has street parking (check the signs) and the first climbing boulder in the Raleigh Parks System. There is also a small shelter, a concrete basketball court and a wood chip surfaced playground.
Lots of tall trees in and around the park provide for great shade while you're sitting on the benches as I did for a bit to plan dinner.
