I called back the next morning and spoke with the same employee who took my original drop-off. He couldn't locate my ticket number, had to ask for a visual description, and then informed me work hadn't even started. When I brought up the conflicting update I received the day prior, his demeanor completely shifted. He became extremely rude, dismissive, and defensive, claiming "the guy" who does repairs doesn't work weekends and could not offer any assurance or clear timeline. Just an update. Finally got my shoes back. After scratching the leather in the heels (when…read moreoriginally coming in to replace the heel tip)...it took several months to get it back because the leather they ordered came from Italy. Not only was the quality not the greatest...they ended up replacing the heel without acknowledging they broke or damaged the previous heels. They replaced it with a thicker heel and the red on the soles of the heel don't even line up correctly and can tell the gap. In addition, the soles are ruined from the hack job of replacing the heel. Customers beware on taking your Christian Louboutins here.

The proprietor said he could glue it back down on the toe but could not repair the tiny hole on the side. He did the repair within 30 min and charged me very little (less than the cost of a fast food meal) I don't fault him for not being able to repair the hole. He was transparent about what service he can provide. He has been repairing shoes at this location for at least 11 years and I've had fair service from him each time.

A simple professional re-glueing the bottom soles on both shoes only cost me $7.50. The service was so friendly and good, I handed them a $20 and asked for a $10 back. Tipping is always appreciated, and this family owned business let's each customer know their business matters. My steady go to shoe repair guy in Oak Cliff went out of business. So even though this is another 15 minutes down the road, it's worth the personal service and very affordable rates.
