I always go to OC gold mine to have our rings cleaned, watch battery change and other jewelry and watch repair needs. Cameron and Mike always greets us with a smile and a very welcoming attitude. When we get our jewelries cleaned, he doesn't charge us at all! Not even asking for a tip! What a customer service. So with this, we will always come back! read more

I have been here a few times and the level of educated discussion is very rewarding. The guy I spoke to each time is friendly, not a salesman, very well educated and very genuine. read more

Our mother passed away earlier this year, and so my sister and I have the unfortunate job of disposing of her possessions, which included some expensive jewelry, sterling silver utensils and serving ware, some old coins, etc. None of us wanted most of these things and so we spoke with jewelry stores, estate sale people, etc. to get estimates of value and what the items could sell for. The folks at The Gold Mine were not even comparable to anyone else we talked to. They are extremely knowledgeable and have experts on staff in things like coins, currency and gems. They were all kind, professional and best of all, the prices they paid blew everyone else away. I feel that they were the only place which made us a fair offer for our mom's valuables. (Other places clearly had far less knowledge and experience.) I came away with 5e belief that these folks are honest and fair. Of course, if you have the time to try to find individual buyers for your items, you might get a little more money - when buying things, they have to be able to make a profit when they resell them - but the folks at The Gold Mine made it so easy. I would absolutely do business with them again. And if you're buying, they have a great selection of valuable collectibles, including jewelry, rare coins and notes, etc. They are generous with their time and knowledge and there was absolutely no pressure, unlike several other stores we visited. There is a reason these folks have been in business for nearly 50 years. read more

I have been dealing with the Gold Mine for years. Very kind, competent, and trustworthy people. Highly recommend!

If you're looking for a fabulous jewelry store, search no more! It was my delight to discover the Irvine Gold Mine jewelry store a couple of weeks ago. The service was quick, thorough and knowledgeable. The staff was genuinely courteous and cheerful. Although the Irvine Gold Mine is bright and modern it was like walking into a time machine in terms of unanticipated old-school service and this was with a young staff! Make your way to the Irvine Gold Mine. You'll be glad you did! Dolley C. read more

I would highly recommend Irvine Gold Mine. Brian is great with coins and easy to work with.

The owner is trustworthy, his name is Cameron. You will know it is him because he looks like Edward Pattinson. He is extremely intelligent and knows his craft well. He has always given me spot on evaluation of my jewelry. He is willing to make custom jewelry and exactly the way you invision it too. He is extremely experienced and is very fair about the price. I know they also do loans and or buying items. They also sell watches, coins and bills. His other shop in Anaheim i think thats where buys rare cars too. The shop is newly remodeled and I love that it is a family business that has been in that very same location in Irvine for 50 years! Super trustworthy and I LOVE Cameron! read more

This place has been here for 40 years and I can see why. I heard about this place a few years ago as the place to go for gold / silver coins and finally got to go in a few weeks ago. Ended up finding a very beautiful one of a kind ring for my wife. Anton is amazing and took extra care to size the ring. She went to pick up the next day and it was still slightly big and so he sized it millimeter by millimeter till it was perfect for her. This kind of service is unheard of in this industry and should be acknowledged when it is so. Anton truly cares and wants his customers to be truly happy. We've been there four times now and what we noticed is he has very many regulars that come in. This says a lot of this place and shows why it has been in the same location for 40 years! Go now if you need anything jewelry, coins, loans etc. Anton does it all and he is happy to help you. read more

Made my first purchase of gold coin here with Anton's help. Not knowing a lot about the different options, I had originally wanted an American Eagle. Anton took out a Panda coin after he heard that it's a gift for my mom for the Lunar New Year. The difference was pretty noticeable side by side. He then show me how to read it on a scale. I went for the panda and my mom was SO happy. Anton was informative, and patience. I had a great experience purchasing from him. read more
