Start work without first having received a signed written authorization from the consumer which clearly states the nature of the repair and the odometer reading of the vehicle. 2. Start work without first giving the consumer a written estimate. If Platt's Performance Plus violates the Auto Repairs Deceptive Practices Regulations or overcharges for a repair, you can file a complaint with NJ Division of Consumer Affairs, 124 Halsey Street, Newark, NJ 07102. They had my car for two whole days and assured me there was nothing wrong with the car. They cleared the codes and sent me on my way. My 7 day return expired on my car and the check engine light came back on so I took it to my shop where they discovered within minutes that there was three different issues that were causing the check engine light and needed to be fixed asap. Because of the negligence I was unable to return the car to Carvana. Terrible experience. It's clear they did not care about me or my car and now the ripple effect is immense.
