My mother's day present was tickets to see Blue October at Ironstone amphitheater. We had such an amazing time. They played with Matt Nathenson and Switchfoot. Such an amazing show.

We recently went to the ironstone amphitheater to see Robert Plant and Alison Krauss. It was our first time to see a show here and we found the access and parking to be easy and efficient. Entrance into the show was a bit slow due to all of the security provisions in place but at least we felt safe. We thought that our ticket was for an assigned seating area on the grass so we were a bit surprised to realize that it was a general admission and a bit disappointed that by the time we arrived there were not many places on the lawn to claim but we racked it up as a newbie error, eaked out a spot to drop our chairs and enjoyed a great show. The views of are not very good here unless you are all the way up front but the sound is amazing and overall we had a great time. An added bonus is that there is a large food truck area and many beverage tents so there are lots of options for food and drinks. We will definitely return but next time we will arrive a little earlier to find a better seat.

We just love Ironstone Amphitheater, it's such a beautiful venue to see a show at. Everyone who works the events are very friendly and helpful, and are very accommodating with special needs/ADA assistance. Lots of yummy food and beverage choices at really reasonable prices compared to other venues. Honestly there isn't a bad spot in the house to see the show, their light and sound programming is really crisp as well. This was our 2nd show here and even though we live 2 hours away we will be back again. The parking is fairly easy, especially if you just wait about 20 mins the lots and road back into town clears out quick.

Beautiful grounds. Plenty of grass for lawn seats. We seen Midland and it was assigned seating or lawn seats. The chair were plastic fold chairs. They had several food stand that also served beer and wine, but CASH ONLY. Taco truck, we ordered tacos and it took 45 mins to get our food. Bathrooms, immaculate!! Ports potties. They had someone cleaning them as soon as someone stepped out. Nice, summer night concert venue!!

Then, came a long wait for a server to come. Once they did, after tables who had been seated after us, they offered us water that also took a long time. One of our servers was so kind, I didn't catch her name, but she brought our water and took our orders very efficiently, but was friendly. We ordered the fried cauliflower and alchemy burgers. Once the cauliflower came, our waiter told us that a cook had walked out mid-dinner rush had left them low on production. This didn't really explain the wait for service but we understood. I didn't get photos of the burgers when they came, because our table was pretty hungry after the long wait! The presentation of the food was ok but the food itself was pretty delicious. The fries were very flavorful and the burgers were cooked a perfect medium rare. We also got a butter pecan sundae that was very large, but good. If the food and that one waiter had not been so good, I would probably take more stars. If you are going to come here, I recommend having a lot of time and patience. 5 stars for the food, 2 stars for the service. Knowing this, I would be tentative to come back if we got the same experience in terms of service.

Came for the burger :)…read more My husband and I live in the East Bay and wanted to go on a lil drive. We decided on Murphy's for the Watering Hole burger which did not disappoint. We ordered 2 Double Cheese Burgers, the Broccoli Bacon Ranch Salad and an order of French Fries that included a side of ranch. All of what we ordered was delicious. The burgers come with double patties and are grilled along with the onions, the bun lightly toasted, soft and sweet and included a smear of 1,000 dressing. The burgers have 2 different types of cheese, fresh crispy shredded lettuce, pickles and sliced ripe tomato. It is the perfect combination and proportions of all ingredients. The Broccoli Bacon Ranch salad was not like anything I have had before and was a nice surprise to our taste buds. The salad included fresh bell peppers both yellow and red. It also had pickled onions, sunflower seeds, bacon and blue cheese that was all tossed together with ranch dressing which made it very convenient and easy to eat. Last but not least, the French Fries. They included a nice seasoning on the outside for a crispy texture and a creamy inside which I love. I liked the fact that they serve the fries with homemsde ranch and I didnt even have to ask for it...it's the little things for me. We sat inside to dine, I enjoyed seeing what others were eating, of course lots of burgers but also ribs, pasta, chicken sandwiches, salads and even cheese cake for dessert. I like that the menu offered a variety of options and brought great value for the quality and care that you can taste in every bite! I did not notice any issues with service as I saw other reviews reported. I would say that the inside, although cozy was a bit loud while others socialize. I think it was simply the high ceilings that carry the noise. The outside seating area is another option and is very nice as it's next to a stream which we would have chosen if it hadn't been 57° outside that day.
