Biff was the best piercer I've ever worked with! Take your kids to him! Her ears didn't even swell afterwards at all! read more

Biff worked on me and didn't even give me the usual jokes. As someone who is dedicated to having my derriere delineated by drawing, I usually get the wisecracks about how "Sir, we may not have enough ink in stock to finish the work." I know I'm a full-figured guy, so there's no need to make me the butt of jokes. Biff did no such thing; he was thoroughly professional and a true artist. His inking of the Iowa Hawkeyes icon on my backside is something that I wish I could actually see because the image just sort of pops (which is hard because I am extra-jiggly). It seriously looks amazing. Ironheart Tattoo is the place you want to go to in the Iowa/Southern Minnesota/Eastern Nebraska area. None better. read more

Great place for piercing. Got us in guick and staff was fantastic. Looked the art work. Highly recommend. read more

Jess did my mom and I's tattoos back in 2019 and we have both came back to him since then. I moved away from Iowa but will continue to come back for each new piece if he will have me! I did a lot of researching and it was hard for me to come across another neo traditional artist's work that I like as much as Jess. His work and personality is 10/10. Him and the shop both create a safe space and a fun environment. I haven't gotten tattoos from other artists there, but they were all fun and nice people as well when I was there. read more

RJ was a dope dude to work with. Super relaxed and fun to talk to, but definitely takes his work seriously. I appreciate everyone I met when I was there - they were super friendly! read more

Budha recently did some cover up work for me and I couldn't be happier. Very professional and very clean. The artists in this shop are well respected in the tattoo community for a reason. If you are looking for quality work from an artist who cares, Ironheart is your shop. Plan ahead, these guys are good and in demand so don't expect to get an appointment for next week. They are all scheduled out for several months. read more

The staff here is super friendly and welcoming, their work is clean, they're very timely and have fair prices!

I recommend Ironheart to everyone for piercings. When you walk in you can tell this place is clean and organized. Biff is thorough when talking about placement and jewelry for the piercing and quick when it comes to the actual piercing. Love this place! read more

Paul Nycz is someone that I always wanted to get a tattoo from. His unique/bold neo-traditional/traditional style is spectacular. Paul is a very professional, humble tattoo artist who listens to the customer and extracts the idea from the customer and create something that you do not expect. If you are looking to not spend money, I ask you this. Why? Tattoos are suppose to be on your body forever. Literally. Paul will match the price with his work ethic and art. He is someone I want to go everytime i save up $$$. I will definitely come back and get one from Paul. He is the man. Thank you Paul! You are the man! read more

I go to Biff for my piercings. The staff and artists are always on time and are very friendly. Very fair pricing and excellent customer service. read more

I got my nipples pierced here, and they pierced it with the wrong size jewelry. There wasn't any room for swelling and healing, so the piercing was squeezing into my nipple. It sucked. When I finally went to a different piercing place to get it fixed, they were in disbelief someone would use jewelry that small for my nipples. The new place gave me jewelry that was like 2x bigger, and I felt immediate relief with the change. read more

I saw Sean at Iron Heart Tattoo. He was friendly and professional. The shop was clean and Sean is very talented. He worked with me to make sure I would be happy with my tattoo and made the experience as enjoyable as possible. I enjoyed the conversation with him as it was a welcomed distraction. My tattoo was $150, which is more than reasonable! I would highly recommend Sean to those thinking about getting a tattoo done. I have gotten a lot of my tattoo work from Budha, and I can honestly say that it's time to go back! This shop has great artists, and a great piercer! They run a clean shop and do a lot of creative, wonderful work. I would advise having an appointment for your tattoo, as all the guys stay pretty busy. The work you'll receive will be worth it! I also have to say Biff, the piercer, is great with placement on piercings and making sure you're getting exactly what you want. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great piercer. He's quick and as gentle as someone putting a needle through one of your body parts can be. read more

I have two tattoos from Paul Nycz and one from Joshua Bowers and they're amazing. My fiancé has one from Paul and one from Josh as well. We have been consistently impressed with the quality of the tattoos and their insistence on delivering quality. Both seem extremely detail oriented. I have not been disappointed once, and neither has my fiancé. We refer everyone to Iron Heart! read more

Tattoo reviewers will always skew the ratings because they have to live with the tattoo no matter what, so in most cases the reviews will either be very positive or give only 1 star because of a staff infection, misspelling, our just horrible work. All I will say about Iron Heart is do your research on shops around DM and you will find at the end of the day Iron Heart has the reputation as the best, the cleanest, and artists who are committed to quality and not quantity. This is not a production shop. I am sure they do their share of verses from the bible down someones's side, barbed wires and tribal bands on bro's, etc. but the artists at this shop know their stuff and each one has a unique style. Some of the artists at this shop are at the top of their games and are nationally known when it comes to various styles weather it's classic tattoos, animations, or black work. DM is very lucky to have a shop and collection of artists like they do at Iron Heart. Tattoos are serious business and if you are looking for quality, art, and something you will always be proud to show, go to Iron Heart. read more

Had a horrible attitude and refused to meet my needs I wasn't asking for much just to add to a tattoo and was met with resistance. They made it almost impossible to make an appointment and didn't care that I was a paying customer. If you want someone who actually cares about you and has your best interest in mind then you should go somewhere else. read more

I love Ironheart Tattoo! The parlor is impeccably clean, the artists are really personable and are very serious about their craft. I got my tattoo almost 2 years ago now, and I still get compliments. If I'm ever in the area again, I'm definitely getting another tattoo! read more

Great shop, made an appointment to get a septum piercing, pretty sure they opened the shop just for my appointment and closed it back down after. Biff their piercer was great, made me super relaxed and was really helpful. read more

I decided to give this tattoo shop only 2 stars for a review due to their lack of professionalism, and the amount of time it took to book an appointment. I emailed and called this shop multiple times to find out more about my options about the tattoo I wanted and what the artists believed would be a good fit. Every time I spoke with the front desk, I was told to just email the artist and they'll get to me when they can. This wasn't my first time receiving a tattoo and every tattoo artist I've worked with in the past has been professional and interactive. From the front desk to the artist, there is NO professionalism here. Everyone in this shop acts as if they are better than you and don't need to treat you with respect. However, the tattoo itself deserves 5 stars. The way to tattoo looks is just how I envisioned, so I don't want to deter people from coming here if you're willing to get a tattoo. Just know the staff may not be so friendly. read more
