I was blown away at the music that was playing (not family friendly), for example one of the songs had lyrics that expressed the fact that the girl had killed her ex and she did it so she could be with someone else. Another song expressed the fact that they were demonized and hell was the place they were looking forward to going. To be honest I can't imagine why anyone would think that kind of music is appropriate for a family establishment. Just FYI the music that is being played MATTERS, both in the Spirit and in the physical realm. Outside of that the course was fun and challenging- we had a good time. Expressed myself to the management, really hope they heed a genuine concern.

Wow, it is a beautiful stadium with seating that goes all around! Tickets were a fair price and the entertainment was definitely engaging with games and audience participation! I am not sure if I can check in at the actual concession stand, as I could not find anything. So, for now I am rating for the stadium itself. The food, I would give three stars at the concession stand. They listed jumbo hotdogs, that were in reality pretty regular almost comparable to a gas station hot dog. I had the chicken tenders and they were alright. The highlight was the squirrel fries. We ordered from the concession stand right near third base and are open to testing out the others around the field. We are excited to go back and check out more of the stadium. Stay tuned.... Let me first start with a disclaimer: I have never played soccer before in my life, but after…read moremoving to Richmond with my family 10 years ago and wanting to join and support my husband in something he enjoys, I joined a co-ed social team at RISE, now XL Sports. I am at XL most weekends playing soccer and enjoying some social time with friends. We joke that it is our version of a country club without being snooty. I've met some of my best friends here, and my kids have pretty much grown up here. It's fun for adults, but also kid friendly. They have a snack bar with lots of fried foods, which I try (note the word try) to avoid, and a nice beer selection, including local craft beers. Most teams will hang out afterward for a beer or two, so you have lots of opportunities to socialize. I hope I'll be able to continue playing for years to come, but occasionally it gets to be a little too much. Sometimes new teams join and they take it too seriously and we get hurt (I have scars to prove it), but we try to help them understand that it is SOCIAL, none of us will be going to the World Cup. It is just for fun, so chill!

To kick off the summer, I got a group of 25 friends to play some laser tag with me. Since we were…read moresuch a big group, it made sense to get a group room for a discount. As the planner of the party, I highly suggest opting for the birthday package even if it's no ones birthday because not only is it the same price as a normal group package, but it comes with a t-shirt. I love the neon t-shirt I now have after this fun evening. You're not allowed to bring outside food to the party room, but you can bring dessert. They provide you with plates, serving utensils, and napkins which is nice. If you want food, they have food package options you can pay them for. We had enough seating for everyone and this came with two games. There is a huge variety of games you can pick from. We picked the classic free-for-all for our first and then a teams based one for our second game. They had even more styles to pick from too. As the "bday girl" I got to choose the themes I wanted for the names (your name is assigned to you with the gun/laser vest you pick). Our first game was Nintendo themed and our second was Food Puns themed. This was an easy place to get to. They have a free parking lot out front. They have mens and womens restrooms inside. And a water bottle filling station at the water fountain. They also had an arcade near the front. I highly recommend having a big group here. It was so much fun.
