Hardcover and paperbacks were sometimes mixed together, as were the various genre, except for a few categories. It didn't really seem like an alpha-by-author sorting either. Even though the owner asked what type of books I liked to read, apparently understanding the layout and misunderstanding my meandering, I declined her help. I declined because I didn't really have a particular type of book in mind, but mostly because I usually find some real gems in layouts like CoffeeHound. It's like a super-mini Barnes and Noble, but with used books. The coffee bar is in the back corner, with reasonably priced coffee drinks. There's a large chair and a couple of small tables here so when you find a book, you can kick back, drink your coffee and enjoy the leisurely life.

The espresso was just right and balanced out the sweetness of the honey and toffee. The baristas were all so friendly and kind. The pastries looked amazing as well but I didn't grab anything this time. Next time I'm in town I'll definitely try something else! My friend got a cold brew with a splash of coconut and it was also really nice and mellow. The price was super affordable! The upstairs is really cool. It looks like a nice place to study and relax. It's nestled in between many other shops on White. It's spacious with several tables and chairs, a great place to meet a friend, read a book or get some work done. They have outdoor seating as well. The service is great, everyone is friendly and excited to help. They have several options: coffee, teas, matcha, hot chocolate, smoothies, frappes and a variety of pastries. We ordered an iced matcha latte and one of their barista favorites(Josiah), as well as a blueberry scone. The drinks were good as they weren't overly sweet and the blueberry scone had good flavor. There were also a bunch of cute things you could purchase that were made locally. There was even a room for younger kids to play in. The service was friendly, and overall it's a great place to hang out. We need to try their ice cream next time we come back.
