I've been her for about 3-4 months. Hand down the friendliest staff at any gym I have ever visited. I mostly go at 530a with that crew and we're done in ~50 min. I tried this gym on the recommendation of my sister, but I stayed because of the amazing staff, workouts, and the inclusive community. The workouts change every day and consist of several stations focusing on different muscles or cardio. The class I attend, Trinity, ends with two rounds of boxing! I have tried just about every group fitness gym in town (Sweat+Training, Cincinnati Fitness Boxing, multiple Crossfits, CycleBar, VHS in my living room, Cincinnati Functional Fitness, etc)......Iron Sharpens Iron beats them all. Let me set the scene: 1) huge space 2) energizing Rap & R&B music 3) 2 HIIT circuits per class, exercises rarely repeated 4) 2-3 Hype Men (and soon to be 1 Hype Woman) leading the workouts, getting you excited, pushing you without embarrassing you 5) Free towels AND water They're also partnered with Lulu Lemon, and even have a boxing class. The Saturday morning workouts book up before Fri night, so get on that stat. But in terms of bang for your buck (~$13/class, great music/fun trainers, guaranteed sweaty butt), it's tough to top ISI. read more

Love ISI! There are many box "gyms" popping up, offering similar workouts but NOT A SINGLE ONE COMPARES. Alex, John, and Jen are more than just trainers and business owners. They genuinely care about the people they work with. I have gone months without going to a class due to work or life, but I know that every time I walk in there, 1) I'll be greeted by name, with a genuine smile and asked how I've been., 2) I'll be encouraged and feel like they are focused on my needs and 3) they'll recommend modifications or alternatives while still pushing me to work hard. They push you AND protect you. And if you're a woman looking for an encouraging and supportive program, I can not recommend the Trinity group enough - a 5 week, repeating program that encourages you not just to work out, but to tackle your physical, emotional, and spiritual challenges in a supportive environment while getting your burn on! read more

Great staff, great work out. My partner in crime and I were made to feel welcome the minute we hit the door. Our session consisted of core, strength and cardio. Trainers and members were so friendly. What was really nice was there were two trainers for the session, so we got personal attention regarding form and pace. Towels were provided, bring your own water or purchase some there. I love this place!!! I used to live nearby and would drive past it everyday so when I finally got fed up with big box gyms (grunting men, missing weights, no available equipment, etc. etc.) I decided to check out ISI-PT. I was super nervous at first, but after my first interactions with all of the trainers I knew this is where I wanted to be. My first visit was a "get to know you" type visit where my personal trainer got to know me (yes you heard that right). He asked me questions about my fitness levels, personal goals, limitations, etc. He took the time to thoroughly explain the mission of the gym (something that had me hooked immediately). ISI-PT is committed to not only physical transformation, but also spiritual and emotional transformation. They want you to push yourself to achieve goals, do everything without fear, and gain confidence along the way. They have a huge banner that says "Passion and Purpose". Do everything in life with Passion and Purpose. The trainers at ISI-PT have trained with top-level athletes, moms, dads, kids, people just starting their fitness journey, people who are fitness fanatics, and everyone in between. Everyone is welcomed with open arms. At ISI-PT you can train 1:1 with a personal trainer (hour or half hour sessions) or take group classes. They also offer athlete development training. I have done both the personal training and group classes and really have loved both! The trainers are so fun and supportive and every workout is a blast (even when it completely kicks your butt :) ). I tried my first Iron Circuit class this past Saturday and I am already looking forward to my next class! Everyone was so nice and welcoming. Shoutout to Iron Sharpens Iron . This week was our first week back at the gym after closing from COVID-19 and they have gone above and beyond to make sure we all feel safe, healthy, and cared for. No waiting room for hanging out, things are wiped down after each station before the next rotation (really, the trainers are running in and out to clean during the 30 second/1 minute breaks), and many more things are being done to protect us. It's hard to describe what Iron Sharpens Iron does differently from other High Intensity Interval Training places and at first glance the classes are very similar but it certainly feels different. There's a real sense of community and mutual encouragement instead of only focusing on competition and personal improvement. Don't get me wrong, it'll still challenging and it will be an amazing exercise. The coaches are awesome and they really help you grow but what makes ISI special is hard to pinpoint. What I'll say is that I've never been able to stick with a Gym or exercise routine before and I've been going 3 months to ISI with no plans to stop. I went to one of their party workouts after not having been in a gym for 10 years and realized that I had found a really unique and amazing place. The workouts are challenging but fresh and there is genuine encouragement and community unlike what I had experienced at previous gyms.
