He helps people modify as needed, and no matter the skill level, no one is left behind or stands out - it's true group fitness in that it feels like everyone's in it together, though there is also personal training available as well! It's motivating but not cheesy or gimmicky - something else I really appreciate as an alternative to the big name group fitness gyms. A very friendly atmosphere but no nonsense as well - it's a true challenge every time but somehow we finish. I feel great every time I leave, and I have definitely gotten stronger since I started. The midday workout is great for stress relief and energy during the time of day I need it most. I love this place.

I previously was very active in pilates mat & reformer, but another studio I went to closed and another I was going to you can never get into classes, I peeked my head in the door and Rachel the owner was there setting the space up. She welcomed me, told me about the studio, I saw they had a mat room, which I missed taking mat pilates classes. I went home reviewed their website, signed up for mat pilates and took my first classes this week. Rachel welcomed me for my first class on Monday, several of the students in the class also welcomed me, several of us talked after the class and they told me how much they loved Rachel and the studio. I went back for a second class yesterday and again was welcomed and more students raving about the studio, the mat pilates is hard, but just what I need to get back into shape. To begin, you have to take an intro class first which was very helpful. I have taken two classes so far, both with Molly, and she has been so helpful and really pushes you! The classes are small (first one was 6 people, second was only 2) so they are small enough for individualized attention, which I prefer. I definitely recommend checking out the free intro class and then buying a package! Also, the plants and natural light in the space are great.

The girls had lots of fun on all of the activities! For our group size it was $10 a kid for 2 hours. The kids definitely got a great workout in and had a great time doing it! You will need to sign a waiver and you will also want to inform your kids to try their best to be safe! One of our kids lost their grip while swinging back and forth on a bar and they fell backwards hitting their head on the ground. There is not much padding on the ground either so it is a very hard impact! A ski or bike helmet would be a good idea for next time! Workout gloves would be great to have as our kids got blisters from doing all of the ropes and bars. Barleycorn's is also conveniently located next door if you want to plan lunch or dinner for a group!

This event kick my butt, and made me realized I'm so out of shape. My little workout routine at home is nothing compared to what they do here at this gym. This is not the traditional gym that you can jump in your treadmill or a machine, and do your workout. To the 2 hours I spent here, the regimen seemed innovative, but at the same time traditional. I like how Joe, the owner seemed supportive and encouraging to the members and guest participants. This is my first time in a gym like this, and I am impressed with the camaraderie that I observed. Since this is my first time he did not even charge me for experiencing a great workout. If you're into challenging your mind and body this is the place for you. Consistently when we show up there are dumbbells, 45lb plates, random deadlift bars, etc all over the place. It's incredibly clear not a single person, staff, or member, cares about the quality of this gym. Plates are never reracked, always left in the bars for you to pick up after someone. It takes 5 minutes just to find a 5lb plate. It's just an all around mess. Not to mention when we signed up we were lied to straight to our faces. We were told there was free garage parking with our membership... lol nope. I've also never been to a gym where there's not a single employee there even after 6:30am. The bathrooms barely work, smell, and are just as unclean as the gym itself. Also they haven't had a working A/C in months! It's middle of the summer and it's consistently 80-85 degrees inside the gym. Do not go or join this gym, it's an absolute scam and the people who run this business should be embarrassed. I promise you these pictures don't do it justice just how cluttered and disorganized this gym is.

RTS is a new concept of lifting gyms that are popping up all over where all of the…read moremembership/drop-in paperwork and payments are done electronically, the gym is basically open 24 hours, and you just let yourself in. I guess "Anytime Fitness" sort of started this trend, but this new wave of lifting gyms definitely refined their concept. Everything about dropping in to RTS was super easy. I sent a quick email to the owner telling them what I wanted to do, and I soon received a link with a waiver and payment instructions. After signing and paying the reasonable drop-in fee, I was sent a code that was good for 24 hours. I actually initially (accidentally) asked for the wrong date, and I called the same morning to get it changed. The owner was super prompt, and changed my date to that day within 10 minutes. When I got to the gym, the codes all worked and I was working out in no time. All in all, I was very happy with the process, it was super easy and and owner provides great customer service. The gym itself is great. They have pretty much everything you need for powerlifting and oly lifting. Their barbell selection is particularly good. There's also a lot of equipment, so even though there were five other athletes working out when I was, I never had to wait for anything. The bathroom was a bit small and was out of TP when I was there, but it's a common bathroom for the whole building, so I don't really blame the gym for this. There's a bus from Downtown Cincy that drops off right in front.
