This is an excellent company to work with! They're very knowledgeable when it comes to handling property in a divorce. Actually, I would recommend them for any unusual or unique mortgage situation. My team included Kevin, Bill and Danielle. They were all very personable, knowledgeable and empathetic. They sold my loan to a good company, too. With my previous loan, Quicken transferred it to their other company, Rocket Mortgage, who then sold it to Sun Trust, which was right in the middle of a merger, changing over to Truist. The transfer to Sun Trust didn't go smoothly, nor did the transition from Sun Trust to Truist. This all happened in a few months, and it was miserable, frustrating and confusing. So I learned for the first time how much a lender matters, and I'm grateful for Iron Point selling my loan to a good company and being away from the mess of the Truist merger. Regarding my need for a refinance - I'm going through a divorce right now. My mother, ex and I were each 1/3rd owners of the property, and Mom and I bought out my ex. He needed the money asap, so he could get established with his new life, and we were all in agreement to make this happen before we settled anything else in the divorce. Several mortgage companies refused to do business with us until we had a divorce decree in hand, rather than accept the Order & Stipulation Agreement that our attorneys worked up and that we all signed. Iron Point Mortgage was there to save the day! They understood this agreement would be filed with the court and signed off by a judge, so it was just as good as having a decree. They understand that divorces don't often follow the same path, and they are happy to review your unique situation (divorce related or not) and advise on what they can do to help. They are comfortable doing so because they are competent, experienced and know the laws of their industry. Therefore, they are able and willing to think outside of the box. Kevin also found a way to lower my closing costs by changing it from a traditional cash out refi to (I think it's called) a rate and term. I did plan to pull out cash to cover some of my divorce attorney's fees, but with the rate and term option, I couldn't take out a penny more than what I would be paying my ex. Therefore, Kevin explained my options and gave me the freedom to make the best decision for me. I chose the rate and term option and decided this, along with a debt consolidation loan at the end of my divorce would be the best option. That way, when the time comes to apply for a debt consolidation loan, I'll know how much I need to apply for. If I would've taken cash out of my mortgage, I would've had to estimate and risk taking out more or less than what was needed. My refi was settled at the beginning of March, and my divorce is estimated to be settled by the end of next month (May). With Iron Point Mortgage helping to get my ex paid out, they eased a lot of tension and stress for my mother, my ex and myself. I believe this has helped towards negotiating the rest of our assets and debts, so we can settle our divorce as peacefully and quickly as possible. I couldn't be happier with my experience! The next time I refi, sell or buy, Iron Point Mortgage will be my mortgage broker. They've earned my loyalty, and I share my positive experience every chance I get. I hope to send business their way as a thank you for helping me through a very difficult time. read more

Kevin, Eric, and the rest of the team made our first home-buying process very smooth. We had a pretty aggressive escrow timeline, which we successfully met. Highly recommend Iron Point Mortgage. read more

I seldom write reviews but these guys are awesome! Easiest refi that I've ever experienced. From the top to the bottom they are responsive, very well informed, do what they say they'll do, and on it... 5 stars!!! read more

Kevin and his team excel at what they do. They go above and beyond to make sure that our mortgage was successful. When there are road blocks they are creative in finding alternative solutions. Kevin himself always knows how to put his clients at ease and always provides sound advice with things related to the mortgage and even advice with escrow in general. We have worked with them on two mortgages in the past few years, along with a few of our friends whom we referred to them. Thank you Kevin and team! read more

Kevin and team were outstanding, responsive, and extremely helpful in all areas! We loved working with them! Will recommend to friends!

Kevin and team are great. This is my second loan with them. I appreciate how responsive they are. Great people to work with!

Kevin and his team are AMAZING. I just finished up my third transaction with them (2 new home purchases and 1 refi). We would not have closed on time if it wasn't for Dani and all her hard work. She literally worked 7 days a week to make sure we could get closed on time. That really impressed me. Nothing but great things to say. Kevin is so great - always responsive, super friendly, and makes things really easy to understand. I always refer everyone to Iron Point and will continue coming to them. read more

After speaking with Kevin and anyone at the Iron Point Mortgage team, you will feel at ease. Everyone is a Rockstar!!! Kevin went the extra mile on our mortgage to make sure our deal closed in record timing. An absolutely professional, knowledgable team to work with if you are looking for a loan. We are up in El Dorado Hills and had no idea what the mortgage process looked like until we Kevin. We thought it was going to be a nightmare but he made the entire process Incredibly simple and easy to navigate. The process went incredibly smooth, especially when, I would assume at times things were hectic. All in all, I hope we purchase another home in the area. Considering Folsom this time and when we do, will 100% use Iron Point again. Seriously blown away at how easy Kevin made the whole process. If you are researching companies in the area, stop here. You will love this team and your loan will get done in a breeze. :) - Thanks everyone!! read more

Kevin and his team are absolute rockstars! They are knowledgeable, responsive, competitive, and understand their clients goals. If your looking to do business with a real person who cares, Kevin takes the cake. read more

While working with Kevin, I have been constantly impressed. He knows the business cold. He delivers what he says he will. He gives the kind of attention you'd hope for from a close relative in the business. He is a true pro. The team handling all the behind the scenes details are smooth, efficient, and friendly. I guess the real measure of satisfaction is "would you refer this person to someone who is important to you?" In my case, the answer is "Yes." I have Kevin helping my sister refinance her home right now. I know she will be as pleased with everyone's performance as I am. On a scale of 1 to 5, Iron Point Mortgage is definitely a 6. read more

Kevin and his team are definitely "Woohoo! As good as it gets!" This is a company that really knows the industry and takes the time to know their clients as well. This combination enables them to put the best loan package together for each individual client. They are quick to respond to emails, texts, or phone calls and are as professional as it gets. I cannot recommend them highly enough! In my situation, we were attempting to buy a house only 2 years after a short sale. Kevin advised us this would be difficult, so we made the terrible mistake of going with a different broker who just told us what we wanted to hear. When this broker left us hanging with no loan on day 29 of our 30 day escrow, Kevin and his team swept in to save the day. We were able to extend escrow by another 30 days while Iron Point Mortgage worked tirelessly to bail us out - and they did it all with a happy attitude and no "I told you so." These outstanding professionals went above and beyond to meet deadlines and secure reliable funding for us. Sarah would bring papers to our house or business for signatures. She also did a great job at keeping us updated via email and text message. You can only imagine how stressed out we were after the first loan fell through, but Sarah's calming influence kept us grounded and Kevin's optimism kept us hopeful. When we finally closed, we had Kevin and Sarah over for dinner to show our appreciation. They are great people as well as great brokers. We are already planning to refinance our house with Iron Point Mortgage once the short sale falls off our credit. read more

The team at Iron Point Mortgage extremely competent and provides a high level of customer service. They helped me work through a unique situation to secure my first home loan. They were able to offer personalized service that the big banks could not. This was my first time going through a home loan process I greatly appreciated the service they provided. I could always reach a member by phone. They are prompt at returning phone calls and answering questions. Their loan processing was very thorough and organized. It was very easy and clear for me to follow. The level of technical competency is superior and I enjoyed discussing with the team all of the technical details that make up a loan. I've worked with Kevin now on several transactions over the past few years, and I can say he's honest and trustworthy. He's made the experience as easy as it can be. He always takes the time to answer all my questions. We recently refinanced our home with Kevin and the whole process was very smooth. Kevin looked at our complete financial situation and offered the solution that worked best for us. In our case we needed to consolidate some student loan debt. We're now saving about $400 a month! Kevin and his team communicated extremely well with us during the whole process. I would highly recommend Kevin and the Iron Point Mortgage team. read more

Kevin is a knowledgeable, friendly, and -on-top-of-it mortgage broker. He offers many different programs for any type of home buyer or refinancer. As a Realtor, I find it extremely important to work with a mortgage broker that can communicate in a timely fashion and give you answers in common language (no lingo). It's important for the home buyer to have a team behind them - Kevin is definitely a team player. Also, his assistant Sarah is extremely helpful and knowledgeable herself. This is a dynamic duo that I highly recommend. read more

I worked with Kevin and Sarah on both the purchase of our home and a recent refinance. They were excellent, and put in the hard work on my file upfront to insure a timely closing. They anticipate complications and work to minimize unwelcome surprises. My situation was complicated by a prior divorce, and Kevin sorted through all obstacles. I received top notch customer service, great communication, with a personal touch. There are plenty of mortgage brokers who will promise rock bottom rates plus the moon, and can not deliver. Kevin is candid, knowledgeable, thorough, bright, and his positive can-do attitude through a complicated, stressful transaction is priceless. Kevin and Sarah have earned my respect and loyalty, and I'm a client for life. read more

A few years ago I was about to close on a brand new house through another lender. Everything was going great, utilities were turned on, the moving truck was ordered and at the last minute the loan fell through and they just washed their hands of it and said There was nothing they could do. Kevin and his team were referred to me, as were multiple other lenders to help save my loan and he was the only one that could help me! He did everything he could and saved my house! Wiithout him I would not have been able to move my family into the house we built. They completely saved it and I've referred everyone I know to him. I'm forever grateful!! read more

Where do I start? In the last year, Kevin has turned our life around by getting us into our first home AND refinancing not once, but TWICE, in deals that saved us a ton of money, ALL IN FIFTEEN MONTHS! Kevin was highly recommended by our realtor. Kevin listened attentively to our financial situation and needs before coming up with several scenarios that he then thoroughly explained in order to help us choose the right one for us. We found a house much faster than anticipated and Kevin was able to help get everything in place in time. He was great at normalizing the process and setting realistic expectations along the way for first time home buyers. Kevin and his team were very responsive to our needs and to our feedback throughout the entire process, making sure everything went smoothly. We strongly encourage using Kevin and his team! read more

We were referred to Kevin Fritz and Iron Point Mortgage through our daughter, Sierra. At the time, we didn't even think we would qualify for a home loan, however, after discussing our scenario with Kevin, he suggested we pursue a VA loan. We were both skeptical whether this was even a realistic possibility. Within a few days we were qualified for the loan and closed on our home 30 days later. Amazing! We have since referred Iron Point Mortgage to our other two daughters who have also financed a home loan with Kevin. We highly recommend using Iron Point Mortgage as your lender as we have used them twice on home purchases now. Each time Kevin was able to deliver on closing as promised. Thank you Kevin, Sarah & Iron Point Team! We are loving our home! David & Laurie H. read more

I met Kevin and was working with another lender and Kevin was so helpful, I asked him to take over my account, which he politely declined, because he did not want to rock the process. I could not believe this, that is when I started a partnership with him. Kevin is a true pro. read more

I would like to thank Kevin and Leslie for making my attempt to purchase my second home through IPM an easy and stress free transaction. I used IPM when I purchase my first home in 2016. It was a smooth and stress free transaction and because of that, I decided to use them for the purchase of my new home. Unfortunately the builders of my new home had their own mortgage companies along with some incentives for using them. I spoke to Kevin and forwarded him all the information I had from the builders mortgage company. After reviewing the information, Kevin was forthright and honest, and let me know what I was being offered was a good deal and I should go forward with that offer. I have built my life and taught my now grown children that a persons word and ones integrity is everything. Kevin demonstrated all the above. Thank you Kevin for being such an honest person and doing and saying the right thing. It's a blessing to know in this day and age of social media there are still people that have old fashion values on how you treat others. read more

I called several lenders to find out if I could qualify for a loan for an investment property. I called big banks, and big name mortgage companies. I could not find a lender who thought I could qualify for the loan. Then I called Kevin. Kevin found a way that would allow me to get the loan. He is an excellent communicator, and took the time to understand my specific needs. He and his assistant, Beth, were very helpful in helping me with the paper work. I am impressed with the excellent customer service. Kevin worked extra hard the day after New Years Day, to give me my loan approval so that I could make an offer on the property. When I told Kevin that I was unable to buy the property I felt bad, after he had done so much work for me. But he replied very graciously and thanked me for working with him. I hope to work with him in future real estate transactions. read more
