I am not one to do reviews; however, I felt it was necessary in this instance. I am VERY IMPRESSED…read morewith Jeremy at Milton Mobile Mechanics. I had four UTVs and a generator that needed to be worked on. I reached out to Milton Mobile Mechanics, and I was immediately impressed with Jeremy. His communication regarding the work that I needed to be done was bar none. I have been in the service industry for over 25 years, and I cannot remember one person that is like Jeremy. He was very clear about the service he was going to provide, asked a lot of questions so that he was 100% prepared for the work he was coming to do, and all pricing and charges were conveyed up front. He suggested many things to me to help save me money, never an up sale on a service, it was all about me as the consumer. I am sorry, but it is VERY rare to find that these days. For example, I was going to pay with credit card so that he could get paid faster, since he is a small operation, that is important for cash flow. He told me twice that it was okay to write a check; please know I work for a large commercial outfit, checks can take up to two weeks to cut, and he was willing to wait for his money so that I could save the 3% service charge. Second, before he ever arrived, he wanted to make sure that he knew everything about the equipment he was coming to fix so that when he arrived, he had EVERYTHING he needed to complete the job, this prevents him having to run to the store to pick something up and have to come back. If the job took him longer (searching for parts, shopping for part, etc) that would have cost me more because I am paying for his time. The 30 - 45 mins (over multiple conversations) we spent talking before he came simply made him more prepared and saved me money again. He asked more questions than a doctor does! :) Now to talk about the work itself, everything was exactly what he said he was going to do, he was of course PREPARED for what needed to be done, he was neat and clean, done correctly, communicated with me while he was working on the equipment to tell me everything he was doing and even did additional checks on the equipment without me asking, because he knew I was selling the equipment and he wanted to make sure everything was ready for me to sell. He simply went over and above what I expected and didn't cost me a dime more for it. Oh, and I am WELL outside his normal service area. Like 60 miles outside his range. Most of the time when I tell someone where I am and they don't normally work in that area; they will just immediately tell you that they don't go that far and decline the work. Jeremy never complained about, he just immediately said yes, he would come down there and was clear that there would be an additional charge for the distance. I knew going into it I would have to pay more because of this, so I had no issue with it. He even took a picture of his mileage; the time he left and shared his WAYS app showing when he left his service area to just show me that he was honest about what the trip charge was going to be. Seriously, who does this.....well I now know one person that does...Jeremy If you ever need work done on farm tractor, lawn mowers, UTVs, four-wheelers, ATVs, Side-by-Sides, and other small engines you have to call Milton Mobile Mechanics. I promise you, you will not be disappointed!

I have been looking to get a riding lawn mower fixed and did some calling around before finding…read moreReels Lawnmower Repair. We had two lawn mowers that we were hoping to get repaired so we brought over one after speaking with a very nice younger gentleman on the phone. He walked me through the process and I explained that the mower deck was getting caught and need repair. We had taken the deck off so we could view it better and I had asked the gentleman on the phone if they would like it put back on before bringing it over. He replied no, it'd be easier off. So we brought all the clips and screws for it so they had all the parts. Two weeks after we dropped it off, I called to get a status on it and another man picked up and gave me the run around that if I didn't have two weeks to wait for it, then I shouldn't have dropped it off. That was fine, it was still early compared to other places. I was just going off the time frame someone else said to me. He then mentioned he should get a chance to look at it in the next week. Alright, fine. After four weeks, I called again, and alas, was told that he had not looked at it because he spends 90% of his day on the phone and can never get to working on any lawn mowers. He then mentioned he'd get look at it the next week. Finally after 6 weeks, I called and he still mentioned that he hadn't looked it and kept mentioning that us bringing it in "pieces" made it harder for him after we had asked if they'd rather us put it back together. He once again mentioned spending more time on the phone than being able to work on the motors. I finally just said I didn't want to be rude, but that we would be coming to pick it up. At this point, the man was blatantly rude stating that I was more than welcome to pick it up and wait 9 weeks somewhere else, then hung up on me. I read the reviews before coming here, they say he does good work and has fair prices, and I don't have anything against that, I am sure he does fine work. However, the customer service of the business is disorganized and rude.

Entire crankcase had filled with gas due to carb failing. Charged me 250 to replace battery 60 of which was to pickup and deliver a whooping 1 mile from shop. Vindictive company Invoice had a notation that I did not help Bob load the mower which was due to him not calling me to tell me he was here. I know why he didn't call for he would never want a customer to know his cell number. Took almost 5 weeks to get mower back unrepaired. I will replace the carb myself. BEWARE Of THIS COMPANY

I was told I would receive an estimate within one to two weeks after paying my deposit; however, I received no contact for three weeks. When I was finally notified, I was told the mower was fixed without ever having been provided an estimate or the opportunity to authorize the work. Furthermore, despite providing a list of parts I had already replaced to address the surging problem, your technicians replaced those same parts and charged me $359. The mower was still not functional after this service. A mechanic subsequently agreed to install a new carburetor at no additional cost to resolve the issue. However, when I returned to pick up the mower after another week and a half, I was told I must pay for the carburetor, and the owner threatened to call the police when I referenced the mechanic's agreement. The lack of professionalism I encountered, particularly from the front desk staff and ownership, is unacceptable. I am disappointed in the quality of work and the way I was treated as a customer. I hope this feedback leads to improvements in your communication and repair processes. Regards,
