The second floor studio is warm and inviting, like the owner/teacher who greeted me upon entering. This is definitely a "locals" establishment based on who else seemed to be in the class I attended on a weekday, but you will feel welcome as a visitor. The students attending via Zoom had connections to Cannon Beach, but were living in other parts of the Northwest. Now for the yoga: if you read the owner's bio and know who her teachers have been and you resonate with that, you will LOVE this yoga. That is the case for me. This was one of the best classes I have attended in a long time. I am hoping to go again on an upcoming visit to Cannon Beach. I highly recommend this studio for yoga lovers!

There are beginner classes and more advanced classes, some classes focus on the core. The sessions are mostly in the morning and in the early evening. Don't be late! She has plenty of floor space and some merchandise for sale, including mats. I find these exercises have helped flexibility in my neck and spine (it makes it easier to drive). I am a guy, 54, and would recommend this activity to anyone. I believe the first class is free for locals!

Adamson Brothers Jiu Jitsu Academy in Seaside turned out to be the perfect solution. The instructors are great, really seem to enjoy working with kids, and promote good life skills along with the Jiu Jitsu. They covered some great BJJ moves in the advanced class, and a lot of great sparring with a variety of belts in the competition class. I personally liked how they leaned into a well known competition loss from about a decade ago. I remember that occurring when we started our jiu jitsu journey, and love how it created so much growth and development in his game. Looking forward to visiting again.
