Five stars for the instructor: Desiree. She welcomed me into the studio and got me signed in with…read moreno problem as this was my first time to the studio (visiting from CA). The vinyasa class began right at 8:30am. Desiree began class with a mantra and a suggestion to focus on for "today's practice." I like that! She reminded us often to breath & led us through mindful flows. To the people who were new to Yoga (there were 2 I believe) she was very encouraging and reminded them this was their practice and to find a position comfortable for them. Overall an excellent experience & I'm most likely going to class tomorrow @ 10:00am unless my brother plans something else for me at that time. 4 stars because I couldn't make a purchase from their store because it "doesn't open until 11:00am." I get it. Only certain people have keys to the kingdom, but it would have been great to do a little shopping. The store is filled with lots of yoga & non-Yoga related items. #vacationshopper

We have been going to yoga for about a year and this is my first experience with yoga. The staff is…read morefriendly and there are different techniques taught by each person. There are beginner classes and more advanced classes, some classes focus on the core. The sessions are mostly in the morning and in the early evening. Don't be late! She has plenty of floor space and some merchandise for sale, including mats. I find these exercises have helped flexibility in my neck and spine (it makes it easier to drive). I am a guy, 54, and would recommend this activity to anyone. I believe the first class is free for locals!

Dr. Flewelling was referred to me a few years ago by one of her longtime patients..That was the…read morebest referral I've ever followed up on...My first appointment with her was impressive, but the second appointment convinced me that I was in good hands..Prior to meeting Dr, Kat [as she is affectionately called], I had never met anyone as open minded and dedicated to health and healing... Her humanitarian sense sparks a passion that's reflected in the thoroughness of the research she does on behalf of each and everyone of her patients..I'm lucky to be one of them !!!!

I spent close to $1,000 at this clinic trying to get treatment for an ear infection, hair loss,…read moresleeplessness, and anxiety. The doctor didn't offer any solutions to my problems. She actually suggested I chew gum to aid my ear infection (after she'd looked in my ear and said, "Wow - I've never seen anything like that before."). She also said I should take sudafed, but because she's a naturopath, she's unable to prescribe it. She basically can't offer treatment that's beyond what your mom might have offered when you were a kid - but she'll charge you an arm and a leg for it. When you go to a doctor, you don't expect to be told that there's something wrong but they have no idea how to help you, and they don't even take the time to give you a referral...and then they charge you $300. For the anxiety issue, she said I could take a lavender supplement, but she said it wasn't something they had - and she said it wasn't something I could order myself, because I couldn't trust the quality of what I might receive. So - that was a dead end. No solutions were offered for my hair loss (I'm a 42 year old woman who has lost 1/4 of her hair - seems like that's worth paying attention to) or sleeplessness (other than "go to sleep at the same time every night"). When I wrote the clinic a note saying I was unhappy with this level of care, the doctor wrote back to say she hadn't reviewed my chart completely (!) and that because she felt I was overwhelmed with my travel schedule, she hadn't offered a full treatment plan at our last appointment. Really? I was so surprised she admitted this in writing! Because she felt I was overwhelmed with an upcoming trip...she WASTED my time and money and withheld treatment information (apparently). Honestly, I think she was just too lazy to come up with a treatment plan in the first place - I don't believe she had anything prepared for me at all. I wasn't overwhelmed. I travel all the time. I feel like she just wanted me to make more (expensive) appointments. She also had me do an expensive blood/saliva test and told me I'd receive the results - but they haven't been sent to me, months later. After my first appointment, she said she'd do some research and see what might be causing my ear problem and get back to me. I had to call the clinic a couple times and wait a week and a half for a return call (where she said she had no answers for me). On so many levels, this is not acceptable. This doctor is phoning it in. I'm sad there's not a better naturopath in the area. This one is a total waste of time and money - you'd be better served just about anywhere else.
