New to yelp, but wanted to share a review of my tattoo experience. Called them up and asked how their availability was and decided to go in for a walk-in. Told them what I wanted and the artist drew up a concept for me. Loved how it came out, and was able to get it done that day. The tattoo came out fantastic and to this day it's my favorite piece. I will update this when I remember the artists name, but it was a while ago so I'm drawing a blank right now. Regardless, the guys that are in this shop are great, friendly and do wonderful work. Would highly recommend and I will most definitely be back for my next tattoo, hopefully soon. read more

Shame shame shame. Had an appointment scheduled for both, my husband and I. We really liked one of the designs of an artist (who will remain nameless...could rhyme with forge if you'd prefer to guess). The shop took our info and provided to the artist. We texted back and forth showing him our ideas and thoughts of what we wanted. He was booked out for about a month when we first contacted him. We have young children and both work full time. Needless to say- this took a LOT of coordination to figure out the best time for our appointment. But we found a day that worked! Finally the day has arrived, on our way, in the car headed to the shop...only about 20 minutes prior, we received a text from the artist that he wasn't feeling well and had to cancel. Very well it be as it may- just a bit ironic that it was the day AFTER thanksgiving. However, understanding what sort of time we're living in with COVID, I was giving him the benefit of any doubt. No mention or request to reschedule- just not feeling well and thanks for understanding. But...2 days later and yet still no effort on his part to reschedule.... I guess he doesn't want or need our business after all. All of the reviews on Yelp of the shop looked great- guess you can't judge a book (or tattoo shop for that matter) by its cover. Thanks for getting our hopes up, and back to the drawing board of finding a reputable shop and waiting most likely another month for an open appointment at a different shop. read more

The piercing pricings were an insane amount of money. I would never have gone here if I knew upfront what it was going to cost. I've never heard of a conch piercing costing $200. My friend got a lobe piercing for $160.. absolutely ridiculous read more

Sent Irish Jay an email to plan a tattoo event. He never responded until AFTER the date of the event and then was rude. A tattoo is a serious undertaking and potential patrons deserve respect. read more

I have been to Cait many times for piercings, I was very disappointed and taken back from this experience. Went with two other friends for piercings. Once we told her what we were looking for we were directed to the case of jewelry. I got three cartilage piercings and an earring change. Picked out what I wanted and she failed to mention until checkout that they were 14k solid gold earrings, never in a million years would I buy solid gold earrings knowing the cost of them. Her prices are completely different and so far fetched from the ones that she has posted in the shop. Something that should've been $200 ended up being a $450 dollar day, she tacks on a $50 "piercers fee" to each individual piercing. Not only were the prices absurd, she ended up piercing one of mine in a bad spot and it ended up cutting a hole in the back of my ear. This caused me to go to and urgent care and get 4 lidocaine shots and had it removed. In between getting the piercing and get it removed I had direct messaged her multiple times, without any answer. This occurred about a month ago and she still has yet to answer even though I can clearly see her active on social media. This is very upsetting because she was very kind and it would've been an easy fix. Will never go back here and would never recommend. read more

BEST PEIRCING EXPERIENCE HANDS DOWN!! I got my nipples peirced here a few weeks ago and wow the girl who peirced me was so sweet and made me feel so comfortable it's deff the only place to go if you want a peircing done right by nice people. Not only is everyone there super sweet but I've had absolutely no bad side effects to the peircing, I was expecting it to be sore or crusty afterwards but she did such an amazing job that I don't even feel the peircing there it's crazy!!! read more

Got two piercings, earlobe pair.. Cait was very sweet and helpful in choosing what earrings would look nice. With that being said, I paid close to $400 to get my ears pierced... when I was told the price it literally took the air out of my lungs. Her price list stated an earlobe pair was $90+ and that included jewelry. Apparently there was a $50 piercers fee per piercing, not sure what that even means if you're paying $90 for the piercing? She said AFTERWARD the earrings I chose were more money as they were 14k gold... that's fine, but that should of been stated beforehand ESPECIALLY since her price list said jewelry was included in the $90+.. there was no prices on the jewelry either.. I get the + part but not that drastic of a jump, that was absolutely outrageous...oh and to top it off, the piercings are uneven.. but wait it gets better...after numerous messages and no response, one of my friends had to get one of her piercings surgically removed because the post that was placed in her ear was too short causing it to create another hole in her ear smh.. needless to say we will not be going back. read more

My son got a small inspirational quote by his ribs a week before Christmas. When he got home we noticed a word was MISSPELLED. He stopped in a week later to see if anything could be done. He was told to leave his number and someone would call him back. After a week no call I decided to call and was given the same garbage response. We were not looking for a major overhaul but instead maybe a quick touch up to make the wrong letter look more like the correct one. read more

Great place to get a tattoo, Irish jay did a portrait for me that came out amazing well worth the wait booked him 7 months ago.

I'm not going to lie, this was not my first choice for a tattoo shop. I had gotten a gift certificate for Christmas and it was recommended that I go to Jay. Went in for a consultation and they set me up with a different artist. I went through his portfolio and his work seemed solid, so I was fine with it. Get there for my appointment, show him my idea. He worked with me on the design and re-drew it for me which was great. They were friendly and the shop was clean. Maybe it was a bad day or a fluke thing, which is no excuse, but four days later my tattoo looks like a high school student went at my arm with markers. The color is still bleeding, there are spots where he clearly went too deep and tore up my skin, the lines are uneven in parts, he completely neglected to even fill in a section, and part of the design is in a place it shouldn't be. It was a fairly simple colored tattoo. I'm going to a different shop to get it fixed because I don't trust him to get it right a second time. Unless you go with Jay don't waste your time or money. read more
