Incredible service! Substantial tax refund on amended return…read more Prior to coming to Glover & Glover, I had always done my own taxes with an online platform. Last year, after my tax situation got more complex, I reached out to Byron Glover. Not only did he help me navigate my 2017 returns, he also looked into some of my previous years' returns and found some opportunities for me to file amendments. These resulted in substantial tax refunds. Completely worth it! I'd definitely recommend Glover & Glover to anyone.

Do not waste your time or money. Unfortunately, I must change my review. Initially, I thought he…read morewas great with a wonderful long initial conversation. However, I realized he made multiple mistakes that cost me thousands of dollars in my tax return. They were really dumb errors (copying the wrong number over; not including any insurance on my rental costs). The worst part is he wouldn't call or email me back when I was still really nice and asked him. I was actually going to fix the first issue myself but upon the closer look I found the other issue... Perhaps there's more). It would likely take him 10 minutes to fix but now I need to redo the entire return in TurboTax so everything is calculated correctly. The reason we go to a CPA is to do things accurately... He can't even get simple things done right. Don't trust him with your finances.

I procrastinated on my taxes again this year…read more... I did a google search for an accountant who specializes in small businesses, and I found McKerley & Noonan. I sent a request through their online form after business hours, and I had a response at 8 AM the next day. I met with Justin, and he was friendly and professional. I told him I had had a bad experience in the past with an accountant charging me hourly and ending up with a huge bill. He agreed to give me a set price and told me about it up front. No hidden fees. I got him my paperwork about 3 weeks before the deadline, and he had everything done within a week. He called with bad news-I owed a TON of money, but he did a great job of helping me find things that I could expense that I missed. He helped reduce what I owed by about a quarter. He helped me file for both my small businesses-real estate and photography, and he was very knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend him!

I met Amy Phillips (the owner) and decided to go ahead and give her firm a try (I had nothing to lose was my line of thinking). I can honestly say I had an amazing experience! Very professional, so speedy, documents were confidentially handled (one of the problems I have had in the past that made me hesitant in the first place in my search), rates were very reasonable, and Amy was very clear in addressing all of my questions, prompted me for information I hadn't initially given that was worth noting, etc. Overall, I am glad to say my anxieties and concerns have been overcome and I don't have to worry about who will handle my taxes in the future. I'll be using Phillips, CPA!

I only learned about it in October from an outside source. I then had to freeze my Social Security number and change 18 bank account numbers to protect myself from identity theft.
