We purchased our house for the view. At the time, it came with a small balcony off the master…read morebedroom which was comfortable for two people but not much more. The wood balcony began to weather and instead of repainting it, we decided to finally tear down the old one and expand from what we had and build a large, comfortable deck which was large enough for entertaining and one that could be accessed from the exterior ground floor, and no longer just from the master bedroom. My wife found Aero Patio and Home Improvement on Yelp (see? It works!) and Steve was quick to respond. He came out and provided us with a bid based on our desired project. Steve helped us with the design piece and the permit requirements. Once the permit was approved, Mike stepped in and took over the actual build. Let me just say, Mike works fast! We were impressed that Mike and his team knew exactly what they were doing. The great thing is that Mike is also very flexible and conscientious to your needs. When we added upgrades to the build, Steve was very transparent and added our requests in writing so there were never any surprises. Whenever we had questions, Mike was quick to respond and always did so with a friendly, can-do approach. Another thing we enjoyed about the build process is that Mike had great suggestions for ways that could enhance our deck. If there were ever any snafus, Mike was on it right away and resolved any issues that came up. Mike finished our deck sooner than I had anticipated we are thrilled with the results. The deck itself is stunning and we can finally take advantage of the view that originally convinced us to get this house.

I explained that this was a time sensitive operation because of the limited window to clean up after the old resident. On Friday, 10/13/23 at 10am, I texted Heather to confirm my booking. At 330pm, she replied that her car broke down 2 weeks ago and she'd let me know by 7pm if she could make it. That left me virtually no time to replace her, which to me is irresponsible, unprofessional, and unacceptable, and I told her that. This wasn't just a regular cleaning that would have been no big deal to cancel. I get that things happen and cars break down, but she knew about this issue 2 weeks in advance, and she should have let me know a week before that there was a good chance she might have to cancel. That would have given me plenty of time to replace her. I reached out to 10 places on Yelp to try to book that Sunday, but none were available. Heather got back to me at 430pm saying that her sister would take her, but I'd already lost faith in her. I finally found someone that was available on NextDoor, so I told Heather that her services were no longer needed. Her cleaning services were only average the 2 times she cleaned my place, so I'm going to give my monthly cleaning to the person I found on NextDoor from now on. Update: Removed one more star for the flood of argumentative and personally insulting texts I received from her after my initial post.

But I guess because she offered to have someone come back out and spend another 45 minutes in my house that makes it all OK and as you can see in her response it's more or less whatever and a smiley face so I think before you use this service and this is why people go with big-name companies instead of trying to help out the smaller ones!! The two people that did show up were very friendly and nice so it bothers me that I have to leave this kind of review!!!
