I was recommended by a co worker to contact Polly at Realty Executives. Now everyone is always…read morerecommending someone and I have spoken to a few agents now and Polly is such a professional but very understanding and sweet. I don't like feeling pressured to start services with someone, I don't give out any contact info but a email at first because I don't want someone hounding me. Polly is the opposite, she has been super helpful when I need her but hasn't hounded me once. She has given me more confidence and more information based on where I live, what I can sell for and what I can buy in the area's I am looking for. What I truly love about Polly is that she is very very informative but she is also very positive. I spoke to other agents that I've kept in touch with for over a year and never received the information I have received from Polly and the other agents are always a Debbie Downer. Explaining that I might not get that much for my place where as Polly was positive and explained based on the market and in my area, I can get a heck of a lot more than what the other Agents were thinking. So I just feel very good with Polly and will recommend her to anyone looking for a great Real Estate Agent/broker.

I recently completed a sale with agent Christine Sexton of Realty Executives. After reading the…read morereview upon sight of Christine I told " I would never hire you. ". I had no control over the choice of realtor due the fact there was another party to the sale. She had one open house. It was 110 degrees. I was disgusted by her lack of cooperation. The other party would never sign in a timely manner. That Christine couldn't get her ass up and drive 5 miles to get the necessary papers signed. Put me into such ill health I had to have an EKG. The buyer was kind enough to extend me an extra 5 days. Wanna know where I am?? In a hotel because Christine couldn't get the other party to sign. So that I could never show the seller of my house I had funds to buy my new property. I begged. I asked. NOTHING!! No effort. Oh and when the inspector from my buyer came. They claimed termite damage and sewer damage. Christine then forced me sign off without giving me the opportunity to get my own inspection. I had no termites. I have pest control services. The sewer line was clear and I was told it would last 60 years. So because of this horrible ineptitude of Christine she cost me thousands. She fought for not one penny. Nor did she ever accomplish getting the other signature. Also because of laziness I had to rush to buy something or I would have been homeless. So here I am in a hotel. Because she couldn't get a signature. My closing date was the 18th. I HAD NO PAPERWORK TO PROVE I HAD FUNDS. All because of her laziness to get signatures on time.

Form your own opinion. My original inquiry: "Hello, Timothy. Regarding your listing at 3110 California Dr, are there water and sewer available or would it need to be a well and septic? Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Jenn" Timothy Roney's response: "Feel free to leave your full name email and mailing address if you want a real response" My response: "Jennifer Waschenbecker ****@gmail.com Why on earth would you require my mailing address to answer a simple question? I'm a teacher and I am gathering information in advance of my visit to California on Christmas break. No one else has desired to communicate through the postal service. I certainly don't." Timothy Roney's response: "Too much AI & non committed buyers (non buyers) My response: "This is by far the rudest response I have had to a simple inquiry. I feel sorry for your poor seller. They have no idea. How do you expect buyers to commit when you refuse to provide basic information? I will just find a good agent or else contact the owner directly if I can locate them. Do not use any more of your valuable time communicating with me." After asking that Timothy Roney not communicate with me (in the above text) he replied: "Your response is the rudest inquiry I have gotten" And another from him immediately after: "You can call" My last and final response: "Really? It's rude to ask if water and sewer are available? That is all I asked in the original text message." Personally, I found the interchange disheartening as a buyer who will be new to the state and even worse, that he is obligated to act in his client's best interests and this was far from that. I will now be attempting to locate the owner and ask them my question regarding the property.

My history with Rubin Properties dates back to 2003, when I first became the President of my HOA…read more My building had been happily using them since previous to that year, but when I became President, I experienced all the reasons why. I grew to become particularly impressed with one of the company's property managers. She was quick to respond to my emails (most times, within several minutes), and would meet my high standards of detail orientedness by copying all involved parties, with every single detail answered, checked, included, balanced, and unquestionable confirmation that the job was DONE. She impressed me even more a few years later when one of our condo owners discovered a leak and we had to do mold remediation. Our insurance company denied the claim, and it was only after this property manager pushed and appealed that they finally conceded and covered ALL the costs incurred by this issue. She personally saved my HOA around $15k - a HUGE win. She also re-negotiated the contract for one of our monthly bills, saving us $1,700 per year. My Board was super impressed with her email on that subject, because we didn't even realize that contract was negotiable. Fast forward a few years, and who do you think bought & took over Rubin Properties completely? My favorite highly detailed property manager, who already had a history of saving us money and providing excellent customer service: Heather Miller. Since taking ownership of the company, Heather modernized with an upgraded website, automatic dues payments, & online access for my Board to view copies of any invoice or payment, anytime. She has used her own high standards as a baseline & has mentored and taught her current team well; all the property managers on her team have consistently given me & my Board excellent support in times of emergency or routine maintenance, for years now. I know that Heather drives her team hard to support clients' needs - and she also rewards their hard work with lunches, dinners and team-building escape room challenges (nice, right?!). Plus during this pandemic, keeping each team member safe & well has been a priority. It makes me even happier to know that Rubin Properties consistently does such a great job for my HOA and our building AND it's a woman-owned business with a healthy workplace culture that values their employees. My Board and I count on Heather, Cesar & the whole team for: Emergency response Routine maintenance Contract negotiation Conflict resolution between owners and/ or tenants Excellent vendor referrals Budgeting and detailed statements Advising us in hairy situations Annual tax prep Keeping our HOA practices legal and compassionate Special project advising & coordinating HOA-related legal advice ...and so much more The icing on this cupcake for me personally is knowing I can trust Heather's opinions when I need to make decisions, or when she guides my Board as we rewrite our CC&Rs. To me, knowing that a strong moral compass exists at the core of our property management company's ownership is priceless.
