Arrived 10 minutes early for our apt and were taken back about 10 minutes after appointment time. MA Davis was kind, pleasant, professional, and had great bedside manner with our young son. Waited about another 15-20 for doc and she was so kind, patient, and eased our concerns and addressed the full situation. She doesn't make you feel rushed or anything and was open and receptive to all our questions and concerns.

They've recently expanded, adding state-of-the-art equipment and an in-house lab, more rooms to see more patients at any given time, which is a huge plus. My daughter's appointment was scheduled for 2:40, and we were seen by 2:50 and out by 3:20. All my questions were answered thoroughly and efficiently. I wasn't able to get a lot of footage since it's a no pictures/videos zone due to patient privacy & confidentiality. I'll continue bringing my kids here for care--it's been a great experience.

This has happened many times before and it is always a sinus infection. Let me preface this by saying we have been patients there for 33 years and have always been happy...usually saw Jane, whom I loved. Today and saw Janine. She was nasty and very condescending. Told me he does NOT have a fever, when we just saw he had 100 degree...which to me is a low grade fever. Said she couldn't do anything for him and that she was from California and that is how they do things here and there. No meds unless he is sick for over 7 days. I will NEVER see her again. Her demeanor leaves a lot to be desired and she should not be a part of your practice. This person needs to be in other profession as she has no empathy which to me is an important part of this profession.

My daughter who is 6 gets extreme anxiety at the Doctor's office especially when getting shots. Nurse Anne told my Daughter to "quit her whimpering and save it for the real thing". This was not the first time we have experienced her rude behavior toward our girls. Then Dr. Bergman defended her actions and refused to apologize. Additionally they charged us a full copay visit fee for a flu shot. My health insurance mandates that flu shots are free. During our very first visit, she suggested weaning my child with ASD off medications within minutes of meeting him and without any clear reason, when I had simply requested a refill after his prior physician was no longer there. The front desk staff and medical assistants have honestly been the only reason we stayed as long as we did--they've always been kind and helpful. However, we've reached a point where we will be transferring our children to another practice. Appointments continue to be scheduled for my children that I did not make, resulting in me having to cancel them almost weekly. I've repeatedly asked for this to stop, but it continues to happen, and it has become incredibly frustrating.

I just found out today that Dr. Rahman and Jackie, the two who started this practice, are now gone and it is fully ran by SuraMed. How did I find this out today? Oh I'd love to tell you. I'll also share about my reimbursements they lied about processing over a month ago. My new daughter was scheduled for her monthly appointment at 2 months. They called to say Jackie wouldn't be in last week so I asked if they could reschedule us to today with her instead and they said yes but now I understand why they were acting awkward about rescheduling then. My wife and I come in today, take AN HOUR after our scheduled appointment time to be seen by a pediatrician and who walks into the room, not Jackie! No acknowledgement of us having to be seen by someone we didn't schedule with either. He told me her and Dr, Rahmen don't work there anymore. Why they were able to call and tell me she wouldn't be available for the first appointment and then tell me I could reschedule to see her but give me another pediatrician without consulting me first is beyond me. I'm not going to let my daughter be seen by whoever you throw my way. I did my research and chose who I was comfortable with. My wife and I are also more comfortable with a woman seeing our daughter, and I didn't even have the opportunity to pick anyone else there. I wasted 3 hours of my day driving all the way to this office which isn't close by, waiting an hour to be seen past my scheduled time, and being let down with no acknowledgment or apology. I thought that would be the end of it. Before I left, I asked the front desk girl if she could check to make sure my reimbursements would be coming at the end of the month. We had trouble with Medicaid coming in when our daughter was born, but we got it fixed. Before then we paid out of pocket, but the insurance is able to pay for those visits so we can get our money back. Last month they said it's in the system and they'd make sure we get our reimbursements. The front desk lady this time said she had nothing to do with it and we had to call billing. So, I call billing to check, and guess who sees absolutely nothing about us requesting a claim to be reimbursed! The billing lady JUST put in our claim so we are hopefully seeing all that money back this month as we were supposed to. If I hadn't checked, those liars would have never had any claim to fulfill and kept my money despite having the insurance to get it from. I have been livid all day thinking about how much these people went from giving me lots of hope to being as let down as possible. UPDATE: It took a month and a half to get my reimbursements through. I called at the end of the month like they said and their response was that it'd take another 7-10 business to receive my money! That's 9-14 real days! I didn't think it could get worse but there they go again with the half truths. I was completely under the impression I'd receive it at the end of the month but they only begin processing then. What a joke! I will never return here again. I will never give you the opportunity to waste my time and take my peace of mind. This place is far below 3.5 stars. Look at the reviews for the past year all 1 star thanks to SuraMed. Only a single good one thanks to Dr. Rahmen and Jackie. Reminder, they're gone! Their attention and care has always being top notch. In 17 years, I've obviously gotten closer to and prefer certain doctors to see my boys (Dr. Flores, Dr. Ali, Dr. McGregor and Dr. Pilato are definitely my favorite) but we've yet to have had a bad experience with the rest of the doctors we've seen throughout the years. Their office staff are amazing, always going the extra mile and providing me with all my requests for paperwork, forms, and appointments in an orderly and timely manner. Our last visit was just two days ago. My youngest is asthmatic and with the recent change of weather, his asthma has flared quite a bit. I needed a refill for an inhaler and was asked to bring him in for a follow up. Our appointment was at 4:20 pm, made it in by 3:50, saw the doctor and were on our way home by 4:30. I can't imagine going anywhere else or having my children seen by any other team of doctors.

My 16 year old has not attended brick and mortar school for three years because of severe lethargy…read moreher doctor has linked to blood loss and severely low iron. Beautiful! Now that we figured it out, we received a scrip to have an iron infusion to help her progress and were treated so poorly by Dr. Singer and her reception team we will not be back. Note, we did not receive said iron infusion. Where to begin? First, her team let three weeks pass without returning my call to request an appointment. In a last ditch effort, I called again and got something scheduled. We were turned away when we first arrived for something that could easily be solved with paperwork. If it weren't for my mom's quick thinking, we would have had to make another 45 minute drive to the office. I think the only intelligence and kindness came from the intern. Dr. Singer was condescending to my daughter, making comments like, "you're the teenager, I'm sure you can look it up on your phone" and reduced my daughter's serious ailments to her poor diet (this is not the cause of her anemia). No bedside manner, no sympathy or compassion. My mother asked if she would be receiving instructions for her and Dr. Singer replied, "What don't you get?" before looking at my daughter and telling her she'd better take notes for her grandmother, implying my mother is senile. I can't decide if I'm more baffled that she didn't follow the scrip she was given to give my child iron (remember, her iron is so low she hasn't attended brick and mortar school consistently for three years), the ageism she spewed at my 16 year old daughter and 70 year old mother, or that she charged me a $50 copay to basically pat us on the head and recommend supplements. We were there because the supplements didn't work. Never again. I guess since my daughter doesn't appear sick enough she's an easy target. Rude, flippant, unprofessional. Tell your friends.
