Dr Reynold was the worst doctor I ever had seen. He was extremely rude, terrible bed side manner…read moreand asked very racist questions. Although language was spoken in English, he kept asking what ethnicity I was. When he asked so many questions, I answered but he cut me off when I had a questions. I told him that I was watching for 1 hour and 20 min but he cut me off twice and did not want to acknowledge it or apologize about it. He was busy writing down all the notes from my previous doctor and facing the computer the whole time. It was in a office he was sharing with another doctor not in a regular exam room. I asked why I was not in a exam room, he did not answer. Finally he told me none of my symptoms had anything to do with his field of work so I said he does not have to write it down if it's irrelevant, the. He turned around for the first time and threaten me that I should go see someone else and asked do you want to continue to see me or not. He slammed the all the documents on his desk. He should not see the patients with that attitudes or settings. He said if you don't want to wait next time, just do the tele health. At the time, I was speechless so without arguing, I just left but I should have said something about his racist comments and his threats. I do not recommend anyone to see him. He should quit seeing patients now.

We took my dad to emergency room in hope that he would be seen and given all the exams needed. He was diagnosed with cancer. I was diagnosed with DCIS breast cancer last year. It happened so fast. My doctor recommended a…read moreoncologist to me. That should have stayed home the day we met. He introduced his self and gave we a brief overview of my situation and what he thought should happen. Asked my bf and I if we had any questions. After one question he stood up then proceeded to open the door. We both looked at him like he was crazy and said we had questions. He said he had other patients and he did my doctor a favor by seeing me. Being told you have cancer and that being your first interaction with a doctor about it was not what I thought would happen. We left and I was mad. I let my primary doctor know and he apologized and said he was the best, give him another chance. We thought about it and did. Got there a little early and still ended up waiting a few hours. Didn't want that to be a habit so I left. Felling defeated. Months later I went home (east coast) to see my parents. I went to a appointment with my mom and she told the nurses about me having trouble finding a good doctor. One of the nurses mentioned that a few doctors left Chester, PA and moved to California. She printed out the information and the top page said The Oncology Institute Of Hope and Innovation. I couldn't believe it. I was about to get in to see Dr. Shum. I believe everything happens for a reason. I'm glad the other doctor was a shit show and so was his office and staff. If I didn't find him I would have kept DCIS and had No surgery. The east coast is a whole different vibe. More direct but with love and no agenda. Genuinely caring and not dismissive or take a number and sit down. Dr. Shum made me feel like I was down the street from Wawa. Lol. Comfortable. Answered all of our questions, explained everything, not once making me feel rushed or like he didn't care. It's crazy I had to go to the east coast to find a GREAT, caring oncologist. Happy I went through it with him as my doctor. If I had to do it again( knock on wood that I don't) he would be my first call. So thank you Dr. Shum and Kathy.

Had an appointment and they made me wait for an hour. Too bad…read more Wanted to avoid this place.

I have been waiting since April. This is now almost the end of October for a refund from them. They…read moreowe me $75 and at this point it's not even the money. I went and had my infusion and my insurance told me that it's not going to cost me anything and when I went there, they told me that there is a copayment. I told them no my insurance says there's not they said if you don't pay then you can't get the infusion so I paid and I was right and they owe me the money. Cannot get in touch with anyone only get overseas customer service that has not helped. They can't speak to me I've tried to reach the corporate office and they bring me back to the overseas customer service. I did finally speak to somebody in July who told me that it should be there the check should be here in two weeks again it is now October 20 25 and I did speak to somebody the other day at corporate office who said that they were sending it out I got a check for $15 not for 75. This company is terrible when it comes to their business so if you have anything with your insurance, beware

I can not say enough about how grateful I am for Dr. Sheri Marquez and her team. She has been…read moreespecially helpful during these unprecedented times specifically with pain management. She has also been a huge advocate for my care and has been the only Doctor who returns my calls. Also, a huge shout out to Diane who helped me to get an appointment for an MRI in a week at another location versus having to wait a month at the location I was referred to. She really helped to expedite the process so I could begin receiving treatment in a more timely manner. She even called me to let me know the positive results of my MRI as soon as they were available to her, which is important during these trying times. Thank you so much for all your time, effort, and compassion.
