Speaking of waiting, I arrived early to fill out my paperwork which I filled out about 10 minutes before my appointment time. The staff showed me to my room in about five minutes apologizing the whole time for the fact that they could not see me before my appointment! One of the shortest wait I have ever had for a doctors appointment. Dr. Sabawi did a consultation and explain the entire process before beginning the procedure. He continued to explain step-by-step keeping me informed of the exact sensations I was about to feel. He was constantly concerned about my comfort and ease. In the beginning I had concerns about acupuncture and what it entails. I am not sure yet if acupuncture is going to work for me, but I no longer have concerns about the procedure itself. After one cupping treatment, the pain has been reduced by 60%. What a Godsend! Dr. Sarah also ordered some Chinese medicine patches applied to the site to continue to help. She stated she would need a couple more treatments, so will follow up once a week x2. I really appreciate that you can be seen at this clinic for a full Chinese medicine work up (including acupuncture and other treatments) or you can be seen for cupping alone, which is less expensive. Sometimes, you know you need cupping (as in my mother's case). The cupping was $50 for the initial consult, and follow up treatments are $30. This makes it accessible for people, and that means a lot to me. My mother was so impressed that she is now going to have a full work up to see if Dr. Sarah can help some of her chronic health conditions.

The day that I had my visit he didn't have his front desk office person so that made him a bit busier however he managed to take patients in, treat patients and do all the paperwork. It was truly amazing to watch! As far as acupuncture is concerned, I have lots and lots of faith and trust in this 2000 to 3000 years old (lost art). People have turned around lots of diseases with acupuncture but you have to keep up the sessions to really see improvement. I've been feeling quite anxious and not myself lately so getting acupuncture (and massage) are the two methods that I have managed my stress and anxiety in the past. However, acupuncture can do many many many more things for people. A huge spectrum of health issues can be treated this way and oh... before I forget... there is also chinese herbs. Make sure you are well advised so that you can take chinese herbs safely.

The young lady who answered the phone was polite and compassionate. The assistant who checked my blood pressure took his time to talk and inform me of the procedure. The massage therapist and the chiropractor both helped alleviate a good percentage of my lower back /sciatic nerve pressure. I am a private pay patient and the cost was extremely reasonable.
