I had an appointment in mid-2000 that had to rescheduled because of COVID-19. No problem. When I was able to have an appointment, it was the end of October 2020 and we schedule an appointment for Tuesday March 23, 2021. Here is the annoying part - I received four confirmations through email and text messages staring a week ago. I called the office last week to confirm because I travel during the week. Today I receive a call that they have to reschedule because the hygienist will be out and next available is the end of July! This is unacceptable. The receptionist said to me, "It is because we only have one hygienist." This is not my issue. I hope the owner or manager reads this because other patients will. You over-confirm and then cancel!

When my dentist Dr. Grasskemper of Bellport told me this, I was far from thrilled! He recommended Dr.Bear and I'm happy he did. From the start the office manager Mindy made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Dr.Bears assistant Yvonne did her best to try to assure me that all will be fine and talked to me to help relax me before the procedure. Dr. Bear himself was very reassuring and made sure I was as comfortable as possible during the whole procedure. To be quite honest I was expecting the worse and what I experienced was a caring comfortable experience , ( as comfortable as oral surgery can be) .
