Chipped the paint on my car and refused to pay me back after I was told in person that it would be covered.

What is it with badly managed carwashes in this town? One of the two automated drive-throughs was…read moreout of service, so the wait to get a wash was WELL over an hour. I decided to splurge and get the fancy $15 wash, since I rarely get it done. The system is "touchless" & doesn't have any brushes - and while the water pressure alone was enough to clean the sides and hood of my car, the top was completely filthy afterward. :( Also, unlike the location on 6th, had to pay extra for vacuum use.

I've tried giving this place so many chances over the years since it's the closest wash to me. I'll…read moredetail my car at home so I don't expect much from coin washes other than a quick soap and rinse but it'd be a pleasant surprise to get even that. If you can find a bay without a cone marking it "out of order" you can play the odds with an open bay. You have the option of paying with card, cash, or their tokens but it's quite rare for the machines to accept anything other than the tokens, whatever it spends the same right. So the machine has finally accepted some form of currency, but don't uncross those fingers yet! Put as little money in as possible first so you can check that even one of the functionalities promised by the selector dial works. Now you've got water flowing, lucky you, so you put in more money and get started. Switch that thing over to soap. 30 seconds and it's still just water? No biggie, there's a lot of water to push through the lines still before you get your new selection coming out of the nozzle. A minute? Two minutes? Still just water huh.. At least you'll get the ten minutes of water you paid for. If your experience sounds like this you're not alone. This pattern of neglect has gone on for at least the 3 years I've tried going here, each time with hope this time won't be like the last. But I leave disappointed on a good day, with a still dirty car and $5 poorer on a bad one. Can't speak to the automated wash, but it would not surprise me if the neglect of the self-service booths extends to the automated bay. Dirty, mud caked rollers will absolutely ruin your car's paint job. Sound familiar? Like headline local news familiar? Yeah.. Save your money, save your car, take it somewhere else.
