Needless to say, when my friends and I went there after a long night of pondering what to do, we had a great time ramming into each other's cars and running around playing games like wild ten year olds. Unfortunately, we were naive enough to fall for one of their package deals that included a meal and although we were acting like ten year olds, our tastebuds were not. Let's just say, whenever we do go back there for the odd game or two, it is definitely not for the food.

When we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The lobby/ waiting area is a little bit on the small side w/ one 2-seater couch available.This room borrows a little bit from the movie "Inception" and "Being John Malkovich" where you are traveling into a woman in a coma's mind and reliving her memories. The room decor could use a little bit of renovations as some items in there seemed a little run down. The puzzles were fairly unique w/ some interesting challenges about random knowledge. The best escape room experience!…read more It's a bit of a puzzle trying to find the place, which I felt added to the overall experience. We did the "In Memoriam" room. It was very well executed and tied in with the given storyline. There was a lot more to it than just unlocking locks. Better than other escape rooms I've been to. And at the end, the staff take you back into the room and walk through what was done and how your team performed in comparison to others in the past. At least once per Sydney visit we drag ourselves here to get yet another photo booth photo sheet to annoy our friends with on Facebook. Sure, the photos aren't cheap. $11 per set is the cheapest and it goes up to... $22ish from memory, but they sure have large collection so you can choose the right booth for you! I've found the more expensive photo sticker booths have a lot more fun frames to play with, such as a $18 one (we splurged that day) had a green screen lump to sit on to emulate riding on horses, sitting in a park etc. The other thing this place is known for is it's skill testers, requiring both skill and luck depending on machine. $1 per play, with handy note/coin exchange machines around to use. (There are no ATM's around but that's probably a good thing, those claw grab skill testers are addictive!) I've won many prizes and spent many a dollar, but the thrill! THE THRILL! Plus the toys are adorable and hard to find anywhere but in these machines - we especially loved the LINE toys! The machines are just as rigged as many arcades which is frustrating (the claws just unashamedly open while moving to the prize hole, dropping your catch unless you land on the 'super strength' claw bonus, but not always! It's weird. ) So if you like silly photo stickers and skill testers with cute prizes, go here! If not, you're kidding yourself. Even my post hardcore, too cool for school friend got forced to come with us and internally enjoyed his sticker set, so so can you!

I went to the Wetherill Park store (24/6/10) during the late night shopping period and was met with…read morea high volume of customers. The queue was developing and we were about 4th in line. The wait was becoming quite long, especially since the store only has two registers and there was a sale on. Whilst two other staff were serving, a staff member by the name of Dre came around to our side of the counter and offered to take our purchases from us to prepare the games for when it was our turn to be served. He thanked us for our patience and returned to the counter to collect our games from the cabinet. When we finally reached the counter, Dre was the cashier to serve us and once again thanked us for our patience. Throughout the duration of the sale, he was professional and courteous. He seemed geniunely happy to help us and happy to serve us, and was even able to recommend and discuss one of our purchases with us. Such a high level of customer service is a rare thing to see in most retail stores. He is a customer service representative that should be highly regarded! Thank you Dre for giving us a wonderful shopping experience at EB Games. We will definitely return.
