Since last year, EB games started accepting trade-ins of other items like iPod in addition to consoles and video games. I went in to find the best price for trading in my old iPod. The counter staff are very quick and efficient. They confirmed the price and offered to exchange, upgrade or trade in the product. Not inclined to buy any games from there, I chose to skip the offer. As I was leaving, I noticed they sell HDMI cables and a whole bunch of accessories for media and phones and consoles. I wasn't aware I could buy electronic accessories at EB games.. Good to know and made a mental note to include EB in my price comparison list.

I bought Alan Wake, an obscure title from years ago on their recommendation and it has been one of my all time favourites. Great deals on refurbished consoles and second hand games here if you need to replace a machine for cheap. So before all your bases are belong to us or you die of dysentery, GET OVER HERE and avoid your DOOM. Polish of your Halo and settle into that half life at home on the couch courtesy of these league of legends who run this shop! When I came here first, I was a simple man standing in front of an employee asking them to please help me shoot things in the face, maybe even in space, online. I wished to be part of the community of online antagonists who have gleefully regaled me of amorous adventures with my mother. I shared my vision and requirements with the good souls here and they turned my vision into a (virtual) reality. "War. War never changes."...... And I hope these guys don't either. Hello EB Games at midnight…read more You know you're a bit different when you're sitting in an empty shopping mall in the middle of nowhere with about 150 other people from 10pm waiting for the midnight release of Fallout 4. However, the EB Games store out here isn't much different from the EB Games stores around the city. There's games, consoles, PC and console gadgets. Lots of bobble heads and stuffed toys. And like most EB Games activities, very poorly managed. There was a lot of waiting around with numbers, and lines where you were meant to be in numerical order, but then it kind of failed after you got to person 43 - people came in and got numbers at 10pm but then disappeared by release. This confused the staff a wee bit. Apparently there was a draw, but we don't know when or how you competed nor do we know who won and when it was drawn. Apart from that, once release happened things seemed to travel rather smoothly and quickly and we were home before 1am and from what I could gather there were many happy faces at pipboys and lunch boxes and other odds and ends.

I know most of you reading this would think that is the obligation anyway but this was on Boxing Day, they were very busy and I must say no other JB hifi store that I've been to have the amount of friendly staff that Leichhardt has.
