I never stop when I'm out to buy something from someone on the street but these guys were so nice it was hard not to really. They explained everything in great detail and showed us the guns that we would be playing with. My son was pestering me to go and actually deep down I wanted to go too [there's that big kid in me coming out again].
A book of 10 tickets were only £60 which gave us full entry for the day, all equipment [yes, including the gun] and brownie points with the misses for taking our son out for the day. I only used a few of the tickets when I booked and will use the rest around Christmas time [good excuse to play in the snow]. I didn't actually know I could book using the tickets at different times so I was delighted when I called the paintball centre to book and they told me that I could book all ten places now or just a few. It was up to me what I wanted to do. I paid for the first 100 paintballs per person to secure our places for the day and now all we had to do was wait for the big day [try explaining to a young child why they can't go now]. That part was not fun. He was so excited.
The big day arrived and off we went. We arrived at the paintball centre, checked in, had our safety brief and away we went. We had so much fun. The marshals were very friendly and explained the game rules before we started. By lunchtime we were pro's!! A lot of thought had gone into the game zones double decker buses, pyramids, villages. You name it, they had it. Not like some other places where they just have a few barrels in a field.
Could not fault the day at all. From the ticket sellers to the paintball centre, the whole process was seamless. 1st class establishment if you ask me! read more
