The rooms are beautiful and big enough for a nice crew to be in, but not huge enough to make things not feel intimate! The store is full of hand made, art stuff! I bought the glass art Groupon for my mother-in-law for Mother's Day and one for my sister-in-law…read morefor her birthday. PERFECT gift. It gave us a memory and an opportunity to get creative. :) We made our appointment for noon yesterday (Saturday). The location is right off Hickman in Waukee in the same stop mall as H's Pho (that's my reference point anyway). SUPER close to where I live. Yippee for me! When we arrived there was only one other family there. We had plenty of space to spread out with the wine and snacks we brought with. The owner did a good job of running us through the steps in the process, what materials to use, safety, and then turned us loose. Her daughter, Jennifer, was very helpful too. It wasn't what I expected in a good way. I learned how to use tools to cut glass and how to use different materials for different effects, etc. The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars was the temperature in the store. Even with wearing an airy summer dress, I was melting. That was pre-wine even so it kept getting progressively warmer as we went along. I never asked to have the temperature adjusted but should have. This is a great place to get on with your inner artist and makes a great gift for friends and family :)

Recently got notified by email of this change to PCI's pricing. It's my inner-standing that this…read moreis a school and preforming services on people is part of the educational training requirement. Adding a service fee to the service price is a price increase. I doubt the students are being paid by PCI to perform services so the service price so be only for the costs and supplies utilitized to perform the services. I recommend people don't buy into this school's bs of a service fee. Beginning August 8th, a service fee will be included on all services. This charge helps account for the professional products and supplies used during each appointment, from hair color and styling products to skincare, nail, massage, and other service essentials. Your service price will continue to cover the time and techniques involved in your appointment, while the additional product charge will reflect the professional products used to achieve your result.

Either way, I'm changing my review and given five stars and solely based on. I don't know her or the company very well yet nor do they know me very well. However, anyone that's willing to give somebody another chance I would have to say is good in my book. So that's what I am basing this review off of today. I think some very bad miscommunication happened. Emotions got involved and it caused for a bad interaction. However, after reaching out and asking for another chance, and with some better clarification she has been willing to do so. So thank you very much. I was actually a utility custodian, so I filled in at various schools in the district when a custodian was gone, then the last year there I was assigned at the high school. The pay is below industry standard, and at that time, you were only paid once a month, which is very hard to budget for. The only reason I left (other than the aforementioned reasons) was the last year I was there, was the year some kid was calling in bomb threats, and they were wanting us 2nd shift custodians to go around and look for anything suspicious. As a place of learning, I think they are one of the best in the state, an an employer, meh, I'd keep looking for better if you go to work here.
