They said 5 pm and this was a Friday so we had evening plans. I told them that we wouldn't be home and never heard from them again. That was May 15th, 2026. It's now June 21, 2026. I did get another company to come out so I don't need them now. It's so hard to get a landscape company to give estimate and complete their work fully. In past, others just do part of job and never return. Course I didn't pay them ahead. Thanks

I wish I could say I had a positive experience, but unfortunately, I feel compelled to share what happened. If you are considering hiring this company, please read this before you do. Read the language from the signed proposal: The scope of work states: Removal of all plant material that is not a pine tree from the back tree line, roughly 8 feet deep. Plant material includes: Vines growing in the trees All other small material growing in and around the line of pine trees Leave trees 2" caliper or larger in the specified area to the left of the pine tree row. Remove all other material in the specified area. None of the materials were removed. Here is what happened after I raised the issue I notified the company representative on the day of service, June 18, that the work had not been completed as outlined in the contract. June 30: Received a text saying someone would come out to inspect the work. No one showed. July 8: Sent a follow-up text. No response. July 13: Sent another text. No response. July 20: Sent another text. No response. July 28: Finally received a response saying I would receive a call. No call. August 8: Received a text stating that, according to the contract, the area beyond the yard was not included in the scope of work. I then called the office on August 10 and asked to speak with a manager. I received a call from someone new who said he would come out to inspect the work. He never came out. And then came August 12. I received an email reiterating the language of the contract quoted above. I questioned how the completed work matched that language. The matter was then forwarded to the owner, who was apparently out of town. Rather than sending someone to inspect the work or addressing my concerns, I received a threatening email demanding payment by 5:00 PM today or stating that they would place a mechanic's lien on my property. So, after nearly two months of trying to get someone to simply come out and look at the work (pay the bill), this is how the situation is being handled? THIS IS HOW YOU RUN A BUSINESS? I am sharing this experience because I believe customers should know exactly what they may be dealing with before hiring this company. Read the contract language. Look at the photos. Then decide for yourself whether the work matches what was promised

I would definitely hire these two guys, Josh and Justin, again. Apparently, they do deliveries for Menards but they also do household moves.

I left multiple voice messages and never heard back, even 6 weeks after his visit. I would not recommend this company to anyone given their lack of follow up and poor communication. Very disappointing.

We have we used Great Dane Tree Experts five times in the past two and one-half years for jobs…read morebetween one and three days. For a recent job I also obtained estimates from two other professional tree services and found Dane's pricing was competitive. The work Dane and his staff do is excellent. They have always shown up on time, appear to work meticulously and safely and always leave the area looking better than it had when they arrived. The 3-day job they completed for me today was complex and I saw Dane here a good part of each day. The heavy wood close to structures, landscaping and other trees was lowered to the ground using ropes in order to keep control of it and prevent damage. During their work I have had the most contact with James and Scott, who have both always been very polite, considerate of our property, displayed excellent work ethics and watched out for out pets. It is without hesitation I recommend this business.

(I started to shovel, but it was a useless, tedius thing to do.) I could finally leave my house. Once out, it seemed the rest of the world must not have long driveways! Thank you to the guys who dug me out - they did a great job at a good price! I will call them again if it snows once more. Who knows what kind of weather we will have?!

Had some great ideas and we used them. He graded our driveway. And I'm not just talking a regular grading of pushing some stone around. He asked where water was lying after a hard rain, he asked where mud was in the yard next to the driveway. This is the best grading we've ever had done and then we asked him to do it again in Spring 2020. He leveled out some large dips in the yard and replanted grass and that turned out great.
