When i received my order i noticed that i couldn't see well out of either the glasses or contact lenses. I went back to see what the issue was and had my eyes tested again and received a different prescription. This was within weeks....the original prescription i was given was wrong...obviously. Instead of taking responsibility for this mistake they in fact made me pay for the visit and did nothing about the glasses or contacts that were now useless. Be aware of the clinic you are going to that's all I'm going to say. I won't be going back ever. Since my visit I've heard from friends that this has happened to them also at this clinic.

However, my experience with the front counter staff was painful. Let's start with the girl who performed the testing prior to seeing my optician struggled, tests had to be redone, and one test could not be completed, as the girl forgot to close out my file on one machine, before moving to another machine, and had to get help. This lack of understanding of the process in testing a patient was concerning. The same girl took my Walmart readers off the table, and tested them, without asking, treating them as if they were my current pair of glasses. I had to ask her to not use them for anything related to the testing being completed. I felt that the staff that were on site were unprepared to fit me for new frames and lenses, so I left and returned during the week, hoping to work with a more experienced and professional person. When I returned and selected frames and placed my order, there was no expectation of timelines for lenses and glasses to be prepared. After waiting almost 2 weeks with no reply, I called to ask where the glasses were and when they would be ready, and what my options were. When I came to pick up my glasses, the girl at the front counter could not answer simple questions relating to the glasses, what my satisfaction period is. All I got was a blank star and several shrugs, it was like the girl did not understand my question, or know the answer. I had to ask to speak with someone else, and spoke with who I believe was Alexis, based on the name on my receipt. During pick-up there was no check on fitment, just a cursory check as to how vision is with the glasses. No check of fitment, nothing as I picked up the glasses and case and left. I now am experiencing fitment issues with the glasses, they are sliding down my face and sitting lopsided, needing constant adjustment every 10-15 minutes of wear. My last question is can I go to any other Beyond Vision locations for adjustment, as I have low confidence in the staff at Oxford? I went to West Ed Mall about 9 months ago to have my eye exam, and then took my prescription to Second Specs at the upper level ( there is two- one lower by Galaxyland as well). I went during a business day- as I had booked it off for appointments- and I would probably recommend that if you want to avoid a crowd as mentioned by others. I had a great experience. The second I began to look the staff were friendly but happy to let me browse at my leisure. They carry some brand name, as well as their own brand. I went with their own brand- and I think it was about $140.00 all in. I have very several astigmatism- which affects the lenses that I can get. So once I chose my pair the gentleman checked and yep- they had my lenses in stock. He had me sit- and took some face measurements- told me to come back in an hour. I shopped, came back in an hour and a bit and we chatted. He was happy to direct bill my glasses, and then fitted them for me! They were perfect from the moment he slid them on- which amazed me as I have a crooked nose and usually am sitting through 10 adjustments in those fancy optical shops. I agree with the one reviewer that I can see glue in the corner of my frame however going onto a Year and it has made no difference and never come apart. The lenses are great and no problems with the coating- which usually happens to me! If you are sick of the jacked up prices - try here- great service and trust me nothing to lose!

They sell a large variety of eyeglasses and frames. Most people think that they only have expensive frames, but they do keep cheaper frames that are of decent quality. However, I will admit that if you're not looking for an expensive brand of eye frames or sunglasses, there are probably other places that have more variety in the below $200 range. Another thing that I liked was that after getting my frames made (which was around August of last year), I received a 30% discount coupon as a New Year's gift in my mail. I had to use it by the 31st of March, I think .. and didn't end up using it, but that was pretty cool!
