I found myself in a situation with a relationship that left me in a very confused and hurt state. Suffice it to say, it ended up being with an incredibly toxic person, and if I hadn't decided to meet with Melissa at Sanctuary Integrative Center (SIC) before shit hit the fan (I could tell things were starting to head in that direction, and knew I needed help getting my anxiety under control), I'm not sure what would have happened, but I know for sure it would not have been good. Melissa helped me see things from an outside perspective and validate what I was feeling. She helped me identify emotions and what to do with them, to love myself for me instead of relying on someone else for validation. Perhaps most importantly, to take a step back and breathe. She is an incredibly kind person and I am so thankful for the help she provided to me. I would highly recommend anyone who has trouble with the issues I outlined in the beginning and/or has issues keeping their anxiety in check to reach out to her and give SIC a shot. I suffered from headaches since 2017 and used 4000 to 5000 mg of Tylenol daily. I'm happy to report that I haven't taken any pain medication since 1/25/2021. In addition to treating my illness, I had experienced on-going back pain from 30+ years in the military, miles of running, falls, etc. I'm proud to say that I no longer suffer from back pain.
