My family stopped by on a whim and I'm glad we decided to make a visit. Intrinsic Elements is located in downtown with street parking, but we came on a good day so there was plenty. At first glance, the shop is chock full of crystals of all shapes and sizes, from tumbled stones to massive raw pieces, from carved stone to pieces of jewelry - so make sure you take the time to look through everything. (they even smudged my purchased stones at the register.) There was a tarot reader working that day, so i booked a 30 min session for $45. The reading was personable, clear and insightful. Beautiful crystal shop in Modesto with friendly staff and an abundance of beautiful and unique crystals. Intrinsic Elements is located in Downtown Modesto with ample, 2 hour street parking. The spacious shop is packed full of jewelry, incense, statues, and of course shelves and shelves of beautiful crystals. They had a wide variety of sizes, types and price points. Literally it was something for everyone. It was nice to see the store bustling and the staff was very friendly, helping customers and answering questions. Really impressed with this local shop. The store is just absolutely beautiful, it was like finding a new shiny object every time you passed by. I think I was in there for about 20 minutes before I found these beautiful earrings and then another 15 minutes later I found a pair of fun cute earrings. They hand make products as well as let you pick out any crystal in the store and they'll make you a custom necklace! The products themselves are very high quality, while I am apprehensive about handmade stuff occasionally due to it falling apart I have faith in these products due to just how high quality it all looks to be. I was so surprised to find things that match the aesthetic/vibe I enjoy when most places I have to make compromises on what I'm looking for. I was very satisfied coming here. I'm a local, and have been keeping up with their Instagram but never had the time to go until yesterday. Walking in, I was overwhelmed with how big the store actually was, I didn't know where to start! I grabbed some amethyst clusters (which were a very good price), a big amethyst cluster, and some labradorite flashy hearts. The prices were unbeatable! They're very much cheaper than other crystal shops I've been to. They even offer to cleanse your crystals before purchasing, which is so nice. I USED TO LIKE THIS PLACE. My sister and i would come here often. A couple weeks ago i bought two rings. One of them rusted the day RIGHT AFTER i wore it. And the other one broke while i was wearing it. I went in this morning for a return. They told me they dont do returns but mind you i have returned a candle here before, maybe like three months ago. So why dont they do returns now? I spoke with the "manager" & she just told me they don't accept returns and that the rings will break if dropped and rust over time. I did not drop any ring and i understand its guna rust over time but for it to rust the day right after?! No. Regardless they didnt accept my return & i wont be spending any more money here. read more

I'm constantly at this shop. I live in Tracy and will drive to Modesto for the smallest crystal or simplest need because everyone there is amazing. I was recommend this shop by a friend and it's my all time favorite. I am picky about crystals because now they are so mainstream you can easily get ripped off. NOT HERE. The crystals always feel correctly priced and every month they'll have a crystal that is highlighted and on sale. Much of my collection comes from this shop. The best part is the wire wrapping they do. I know E and Melissa wire wrap crystals and have their own display of things they've handmade. It's awesome to see that the owner lets them display these items. I'll always try to support E when i'm there and purchase something they've made or they will also let you chose a crystal from the shop that's big enough to be worn as a necklace and they'll wire wrap it and put it on an adjustable rope necklace in less than 10 minutes. Tony is also awesome so shout out to them! Last thing! My grandma came to the shop with me a few months ago for the first time and she's older so she has a bit of trouble standing for long periods and she said she was going to see if she could sit and I didn't think anything of it so I thought she would go back to the car. After shopping for a few minutes, I look up and my grandma is on the back area on a big throne like chair relaxing! E said she needed a place to sit and they understood so they helped her over to a chair so she could take a minute to relax. I was blown away at the kindness but not surprised, these people are amazing. That's the kind of energy you want around your crystals. Please go visit this shop, take a friend! This place is definitely NOT the vibe, the staff are not the friendliest and will hover around the floor as if they are waiting for someone to steal. I have been going to metaphysical shops for over 20 years and not even in a shop where they have high end EXPENSIVE stones have I felt the way I do when I go here. The staff are rude and you can literally walk by them and hear them gossip and talk bad about people... the are low vibrational and all about looks. Again... Great experience, the place was very homey and had a great vibe too it. If your someone with allergies or are sensitive to smells I highly recommend wearing a mask despite the mandate being lifted. Absolutely loved this place. The energy is uplifting and welcoming as soon as we walk in. I have had some lovely experiences in this store. I have had lotus oil rubbed on my hands and have been welcomed warmly. We moseyed in this morning after having breakfast at Deva Cafe hoping to find some laboradorite and a peaceful environment. I was invited to set my purse on the counter so I did. My children showed interest in instruments so I was making a list of Christmas present ideas and we browsed jewelry and stones and our visit came to an abrupt and unpleasant end when the owner walked up to where I was admiring singing bowls and stood there with her hand on her hip and just stared at me, my kids and my friend. No smiles, no rubbing lotus oil on our hands or offering cucumber water this time. I grabbed my purse and left. They have a variety of stuff for your spiritual needs. I believe they offer classes or some form of spiritual guidance there. I'm not 100% sure because I have never taken part in any of that. They have a small selection of clothing and accessories also but it's mostly spiritually based items. I felt like the selection was minimal for my needs. But if you mostly work with stones, herbs, and oils then it will suffice. The staff are earger and knowledgeable, but it was can be to a fault sometimes. There are times that I've gone in just to browse and felt pressured to buy something because the staff wouldn't leave me alone. On the topic of buying something, their prices are steep for some of the objects they sell. What a positive store! I took my boyfriend's sixteen year old sister in as we walked around down town. we were greeted warmly and brought out some refreshing cucumber water (mighty tasty). The shop is a spiritual comfort zone loaded with incense, gems and beautiful jewelry. I ended up buying a necklace and incense - costing under $10 and my gifts were wrapped beautifully and the necklace was placed on my boyfriend's little sister making her feel special. It is original, beautifully decorated, full of rarities and infinitely intriguing items for sale, and despite its small size, you can literally spend an hour or two just taking everything in. The staff are all lovely to be around. The cucumber mint water they offer is refreshing and delicious. A very comforting and inviting environment.
