This is difficult to write, but I've ultimately come to regret some of my work from ITS. After having moved on from the post-tattoo joy by several years, I've noticed significant defects in my tattoos: lines that are far from straight, small portions that never got colored in, and ultimately, scarring. My skin was overworked. After being tattooed by other artists, I realize now your skin shouldn't scab and flake so heavily. Again, I can see now that my skin was scarred. Hence, overworked. I also realize that my tattoos took far too many sessions and cost far too much. I feel I was taken advantage of in this aspect. The crew at ITS *are* very kind, creative folks. But browse through recent/tagged work on Facebook and Instagram you'll notice major flaws in the work. I only write this review because other artists have looked at my tattoos: some spots aren't fixable, requiring laser removal. Again, these folks are nice people-- I just wouldn't let them tattoo me again, either original work or touch ups. I only hope this review serves to inform other potential clients. read more

I was taken advantage of at this shop at 5pm yesterday 10/18/2020. Marty was the only one working. He felt me up while he was tattooing my leg. Then he had me stand up to bandage it and pressed his junk into mine and shoved his tongue down my throat. I went along with it just to get the fuck out of there. Called the own Benjamin Morris. He told me he believed me 100% and would stand behind me no matter what. He talked to marty and Marty told him he meant no harm, so he is no longer being fired. So not only was i taken advantage of i was lied to. He will still be allowed to work there. I didn't want to take this public, but i feel i have no choice now. I do not want this to happen to anyone else. Maybe Marty did "Mean no harm" that doesn't mean what he did was okay. I am traumatized by the experience and wish no one else to go through that. read more

Man. This place has the best artists in town! No really. They do. I have had work done by Nick Keiser. And there is Mike Munter. Who I hope to have work done by soon. I kept looking for good artist locally. I checked out other shops, and I really liked what I saw in the book. It had been a long time since I had work done. Nick makes you feel welcomed, and is empathetic. He is always concerned about your comfort. If you didn't know, tattoos hurt. So his consideration is appreciated. The Shop is clean, roomy, and comfortable. I highly recommend this shop. Its packed full of talent. And they seem to stay well booked. That speaks for itself. Better make an appointment soon. I had been following one of the artists from here on a social network and was constantly amazed at his work. My girlfriend was looking for a place she was comfortable with to go to her for her first tattoo. Called in and as luck would have it, Nick had an opening that night and we drive up as fast as possible. The whole atmosphere was so relaxing and welcoming we instantly knew it would be our new go to spot. As he finished her piece I mentioned an idea for my next tattoo and his face lit up. We scheduled it for a few weeks later and when the day came it was the best 5 hour session I've had so far. Made an appointment with Benny and within 24 hours was in the shop for my tattoo. Benny greeted me as soon as I walked in and has a very calm, cool vibe. Shop is very clean. Benny was awesome. You can tell that he genuinely loves what he does and it shows in the effort and attention to detail that he puts into his work. After the stencil was in place and I had given it the ok, he sat back and wanted to adjust it because one of the letters was about 1/16 of an inch off of what he thought was perfect, so he wiped it off and did it again. I appreciated that level of perfectionism in an artist. I am 110% satisfied with my experience and will definitely go back to Benny for future work. read more

I've spent a ton of time in tattoo shops and enjoyed none so much as Into the Sun. While I live in Allentown and it's easy to find quality artists and reasonable prices around the many shops in the area, none have made me feel so welcome or valued as Into the Sun has. Nick, Mike, Benny, and Janine have always gone out of their way to make me feel at home. As for the artistry: nothing could describe it other than top-notch... This is a magical place. A beautiful, majestic shop. Although I get tattooed by Nick (a blooming flower of an artist with an amazing beard) the other artists are very welcoming and eager to make the client comfortable. I make the ride from Allentown just to go to this amazing establishment. If you are someone who realizes that getting a tattoo isn't just about the quality of the work, but also the quality of the people and the friendships developed, then I most definitely recommend Into the Sun. Great atmosphere, great people. Working with Benny, my artist, has been fun and interactive. He has created a space that is immersive, creative, and professional. You can tell he is all about bringing your idea to life. All needles and what not are hermetically sealed and the shop is clean. An awesome experience for tattoo rookies or vets alike. I've been getting tattooed by Janine for awhile now. She does great work and is easily one of the nicest people I've met. She's a perfectionist and it shows in her work. Since I've gone so many times I've had the opportunity to meet and talk to the entire ITS team/family they are ALL very cool and talented artists. Very cool, relaxed atmosphere with incredibly talented artists. Great use of color and all my work has always healed exceptionally well. This place is very different than most shops, even the apprentices are better than most artists at other shops. read more
