Both guys were extremely welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. I chose a piece off the wall to fill some blank space on my arm, and Jeff added some of his touches to it. From start to finish it was a great experience. No shortage of good conversation, definitely some good laughs in there, and when it was over I was beyond impressed by the work. Jeff and Scott are true professionals who are genuinely invested in their craft. Being new to the area, they made me feel like we had known each other for a long time, and that truly added to the experience. I highly recommend Seven Stars Tattoo if you are in the market for a new tattoo. I know my wife is eager to get in there, and I know I will be back for more work, and just to drop in and say hi! TL/DR Great shop Great guys running the shop Top-notch tattoo work You should get a tattoo

It was my mom's first tattoo and Ryan made her feel so very comfortable with option of tv or music, and with explaining what he was doing and the items that would be used. I got my foot tattooed at this shop in 2013. It was a lily in remembrance of my mother who died…read morewhen I was eighteen surrounding my children's names. From the beginning the tattoo itched scabbed swelled and bled. It hurt and it looked bad. I went into the shop multiple times and no one could give me a clear answer. Messages on social media were ignored. Someone from the shop eventually suggested it might be an allergic reaction to metal in the red ink and gave me a home treatment plan with vitamin E, epson salt soaks and cocoa butter. I followed it for twenty weeks and my foot got worse. I was waking up with blood on my sheets from scratching in my sleep and people asked about it because it looked infected not because the tattoo looked good. I later moved to the West Coast and saw other tattoo artists who had zero connection to this shop. Multiple artists told me the work was done incorrectly and that poor technique and ink saturation were likely to blame. A dermatologist also confirmed it did not look like an allergy. The shop tried to say that other artists were probably trying to make them look bad but no one here even knows who they are and they had no reason to defend or criticize anyone in Pennsylvania. Sometimes mistakes happen. Most people understand that. What made this worse was that the shop refused to own anything. Instead they got frustrated that I was pointing out that something was wrong and treated it like an attack instead of a request for help. That reaction made the whole situation worse than it needed to be. It has now been thirteen years and my foot still itches daily, and splits open and bleeds randomly. I deal with it daily because the skin reacts constantly and that physical reminder is hard to ignore. For that reason I think about this shop every single day and not in a good way. Based on my experience I cannot recommend this place and I suggest staying far away.

Then finally, my piercing artist Nate. Nate was wonderfully friendly, made sure I knew exactly what was happening before it happened, and explained everything to me, and got my approval before doing any thing. I went back 2 weeks later for a small tattoo for myself and then within months, was collaborating with Mike on a half sleeve incorporate a cover-up. I gave Mike reference photos of the 2 dragons I wanted, some high-level ideas and a deposit and he turned that into a beautiful piece.
