She has a strong clinical background but takes it a step further by incorporating holistic aspects to her practice, which I'm a big fan of. So I decided to try it out. I scheduled a deep tissue massage online through her website (which I very much appreciate, since I always rembr late at night, that I need to schedule a massage, then continuously forget until the pain in my back forces me to rembr) Dianna was very professional. Had me fill out medical history paper work, list any areas of concern, etc. Once we got into the room she went over everything with me in detail and came up w/ a customized deep tissue massage just for me. The massage was glorious & exactly what I needed. I get massages regularly & am well versed at just about all the techniques. Yet, Dianne was so skillful that she recognized my hip alignment was off & worked to correct it. She also performed some techniques I'd never experienced before but were def needed with my back problems. She checked in the whole time with me to make sure I was responding well to the pressure & comfortable. We chatted throughout the duration of the massage but she knew when I wasn't wanting to chat but enjoy the massage. The ambiance of the studio was adorable, warm & welcoming. The location is what had originally peaked my interest in choosing this location since it is in the middle of my work and home. From the first moment of walking into the office for my appointment with Lisa, I could sense a difference in the atmosphere. Lisa was already there waiting for me to introduce herself and let me know what I need to do for paperwork for my first visit. Just sitting there filling out the documents I could already feel as though I everything within me was calming due to the ambiance. Once I was ready for my Reiki session, I followed Lisa into her room and we had a discussion on why I had made the appointment, how I had discovered Reiki and potentially what I knew about it. Once the discussion was done, I laid on the bed which had a crystal mat on it that was heated so that its energy would be stronger. First off, laying on this crystal mat was SOO comfortable that you could fall asleep. Then, chakra stones are placed down your core in accordance with their location and the Mother Mary stone is placed near your heart. The room is dim lit, aromatherapy is being used and there is relaxing music playing in the background. During the session, hands are placed on you from your crown all the way down to your toes and then back up the other side and then your crown is closed. After the session had ended and I got off the table, I could already tell that I felt differently. Lisa brought me rose quartz infused water and then we discussed what she had felt and/or seen during the session. To my surprise, she saw and knew so much about me without even having to ask. It was amazing! I can tell that she is definitely in tune with nature and this form of holistic healing. After leaving the office, I felt like a heavy weight had been lifted from me and was more calm with myself. I would 100% recommend that if you are even slightly intrigued by Reiki and its benefits, that you should try it out. And I would recommend that you go here and see Lisa because she will do wonders for you. I am looking forward to doing more research on my own of healing techniques and crystals to help purify and for sure will be back for another session.

She seemed either unprofessional or frazzled or both and also mentioned that they don't get paid off as much from Groupon's. Mentioning that to me seemed highly unprofessional and unnecessary.
