This review is to praise the skill and professionalism of Darryl, a consummate ant tracker! Our…read morehouse was so full of ants that we would find them on rugs, on ceilings, even in our bed at night. They were everywhere. We had Campbell out a couple of time, but it got worse instead of better. Then they sent Darryl, and he earned our eternal gratitude. He found ant trails we didn't even point out, or know we had, and figured out where they were going to and coming from. He went into rooms that we hadn't reported a problem in (with permission, of course...) and showed us where additional ant activity was. Then he baited incredibly carefully, to ensure our cats would not be at risk of exposure to the bait. (Our cats loved Darryl too!) He even followed up with a text a few days later, saying he was thinking about our job, and he wanted to know if the situation had improved! Who does that?! It had improved, by 85 - 90%, but we still saw ants. So he returned and spent an equal amount of time and patience identifying their sources. Darryl has made a tremendous difference in our ability to enjoy our home He is a treasure, and a super nice person, Thanks Darryl, and thanks to Campbell for sending him!!

The first technician, Peyton, was incredibly kind and reassuring -- he told me he'd seen way worse and instantly put me at ease. He was polite, professional, and efficient, and I only needed to be out of the house (along with my cat) for about an hour while he sprayed. You're guaranteed three sprays for one initial price, which I found to be very reasonable. When the second spray date came around, I was running behind -- my cat wasn't in her carrier, my stuff wasn't ready, and I was flustered. Peyton patiently waited for me to get everything together and even helped carry a few things to my car! That kind of kindness is rare and so appreciated. By the third spray, I had a new technician named Isaac, who was just as friendly and patient as Peyton (again, I wasn't quite ready -- when they say 11 to noon, expect 11 promptly! ). Both technicians were fantastic: professional, punctual, and genuinely kind people who made a stressful situation so much easier. I can't recommend Campbell Pest Control enough -- their customer service alone deserves five stars. Every time I called, a real person answered the phone - no robots whatsoever. I even spoke with the owner, Austin, who was extremely kind and is the reason I'm writing this review.

In purchasing an investment property, the appraiser wanted a general contractor to come out and…read moreinspect the property before he would sign the appraisal. The GC said we should have a pest control inspection done to check for termites, because there was evidence of a past infestation. The current renters had also told me that there was a past infestation that was treated. I decided that I would back out of the purchase if there were active termites or carpenter ants. I contacted Point Pest Control and their employee Brant Ward came out and inspected the property. My realtor was there and said that Brant did not go into the crawlspace, and only walked around the perimeter of the property. They together called me on the phone and Brant informed us both there were no termites or carpenter ants. He said there was evidence of rodents and sugar ants and that he would send me over a quote to treat those. I proceeded with the purchase of the property based completely on trusting the professional report of Point Pest Control informing me there were no active termites. Within one month of purchase, I crawled barely two feet into the crawlspace and I could see the termite damage and termites. Brant never recommended further inspection, but assured me there was no active infestation. Once I removed the bottom plank of siding on the house, termites literally started falling from the walls. I would lightly tap on the siding and termites were falling out. I contacted Point Pest Control and they came out and picked up the dead termite bodies and confirmed they were indeed termites, but that they were dampwood termites and I just needed to fix any leaking plumbing and they would die. They said there was nothing they could do. I pushed back and said the point wasn't HOW they got there, but that they were there, and Point Pest Control did not identify them, even though the infestation was huge and obvious. They reiterated that there was nothing they could do and left.

There was never any more activity or evidence. It was during the cold snap we had, and it was likely the rat had made its way in through a damaged vent looking to get out of the weather. Pointe Pest did repair 3 damaged vents and placed 10 snap traps. Still no activity. Sounds good, right? The bill was one thousand seven hundred twenty one dollars. $1,721.60. I called and spoke with a supervisor who was not willing to work with me on the price despite the fact there is no activity.

I never asked or requested in anyway for their solicitations. I have a "No Soliciting" sign on my entryway, yet they evidently can not read nor understand the writing on it. I have recited the words to them and pointed at the words as I read them and yet they keep coming back. From past experience, I have found that these are generally scam tactics. BEWARE!!!
