I have bought a lot of batteries from these guys and they usually provide great service and a great product. I recently bought an ATV battery from them and it was a lemon. I tried charging it several times With no luck. They failed to tell me that the warranty on the smaller batteries is only six months. When I tried to return it at eight months, they were no help. I sent them a couple of emails regarding the matter and got no response. I just think they need to be a little more clear on the warranty and be a little more responsive. I ended up going to the "shack" for a house alarm system battery - something you just can't pop over to Wal-Mart and find. Well, doing that, I had to pay $10 more for that battery. I took my remote control for my ceiling fan just to show what size of battery I needed and my garage door opener, well, I got charged "installation fee" for both devices. Needed a battery for my fish finder. They had a deep cycle AGM battery for like $25. I nearly paid $50 for a regular lead acid battery at Academy that was probably garbage. I called them on the phone, told them what I needed, and they guy knew exactly the right battery for my fish finder. Then I got there and the same guy was like, "Oh, you just called on the phone." I want to say thanks to Interstate Battery for the fast and helpful service on my Chrysler 300 battery. I was concerned that the problem might be the starter or alternator which could cost up to $400 but it was the battery beginning to lose power. This car takes an expensive battery but the battery I had was still under the pro-rata warranty so the new battery was about 40% off the regular price. The technician who helped me was Drew, and he deserves a sincere thanks for getting the job done and getting me on my way ASAP. As soon as I arrived he came out to meet me, and then he got started right away doing the necessary tests. He showed me the meter readings and explained what they meant. He determined that it was the battery that was causing the click before starting. He also determined that the new battery would be discounted under the pro-rata warranty. After replacing the battery and testing it he did another test to make sure the alternator was charging the battery as it should. The only charge was for the battery itself. Thanks again, Interstate Battery! I will definitely be back for all my battery needs. read more
