I like helping out the little man. Small enterprises need all the help they can get. Bigger chains are already rolling in the dough anyway, might as well support those who are just starting out. This was my train of thought when I needed to have something laminated recently. I went to Philcoa and went inside one of the smaller copy shops there to ask around. They initially gave me a quotation of 80 Pesos each then eventually told me they couldn't do it.
Since that was a bust, I went to Intermatrix in the same building. I was expecting them to charge more but I was pleasantly surprised that they were actually cheaper. They asked for 60 Pesos per page and they were able to do the job swiftly.
I really want to support the little guy but the big chains are big for a reason. They got there by doing something good and sometimes, even better. read more
