This place has saved me so many times!…read more There were times in college when some book I needed wasn't available in any bookstore. The only copy was in my school's library. I would run to Copylandia to have it photocopied. When my thesis partner and I had to make hundreds of copies of our survey, we would run here again. And when I needed to make several copies of sequence guides, shot lists and scripts, I'd come here. Just know that there will be times when the place is full of people all waiting for their photocopies. If you don't need it right away, they sometimes allow you to leave it overnight or leave it with them in the morning and come back in the afternoon. But hey, it's cheap and the quality is pretty good.

I can say this branch would've been my favorite photocopying place in all of Ayala. Why? Let me count the ways. One: The staff here are friendly and accommodating. There hasn't been a transaction I've made here that got my blood pressure skyrocketing to the stratosphere. They are fast, and they obviously know their machines well. Two: The line is manageable. More often than not, Photocopying services are flocked by so many people, it takes you super long waiting for your turn. And all the more annoying if you're only going to photocopy one page or two! I've never experienced that in here. You can probably blame their "hiddenness" in Greenbelt 1, which is just convenient to me altogether. Three: They can do bulk photocopying and would even cut to size for you! Of course you would have to ask that as a "favor", so be friendly. Four: They have many choices of paper quality, types and sizes. If you're in need of large photocopying services, this is the place to be. Five: Their price range is....okay, I guess. But it's a mall shop. Expect it to be higher than usual.

I'm used to having all my major printing work done in the Taft/La Salle area where it's cheaper and I'm already a 'suki', but sometimes it's just too much trouble to go all the way there. Print Avenue is a convenient place to have all your printing needs/photocopying done, and conveniently situated in Salcedo Village. It's perfect for me when I have to run to a meeting but need some files printed professionally. I've had my design work printed here, and the print quality is excellent, with a fast turnaround. There was this one time I was running late to an interview and needed some ID photos printed in a snap, and Print Avenue saved my day. Though naturally, rates here would be a bit pricier than most print shops (I guess it's because they really have a good location-ground floor walk up and in one of Makati's more elite neighborhoods). But, I believe the service, convenience and quality is worth shelling out a few pesos for.

I once needed a poster size booklet printed to present my project. I needed a very specific size and needed it to look like a glossy magazine so they had to go out of their usual printing services and they were very helpful! We figured out a way to bond the pages together and it was all a very good job!

The other photo shop nearby charges double the price for 4 photos. I have also had them make refrigerator magnets for a great price. You just need to log onto their WiFi and upload your picture onto their site. They make oil paintings of your picture which are created by a local artist. Now that is something that I have not done here yet.

When I was young, I remember having to wait to develop my 24 or 26 rolls of photos. I would be so excited even when I had to wait to get my ID photos done for school IDs, passports, etc... I think because not a lot of people print out photos anymore. Most people have their photos directly on their phones, on their laptops, or even in digital frames. But for whatever reason you may be needing an ID photo done and you can't wait more than 15 minutes to have your photo taken and printed, theres a small nook in Greenbelt 1 that is more convenient that the regular photo shops. I prefer to go to Tronix because in just ten minutes you basically get four to six pieces your ID photos for as low as Php60. No fuss, no 30 minutes to 1 hour waits.

(It's called Inktec Piso Print now, I don't know if Zerotec Piso Print was its old name.) Your "piso" can now be used to pay for printing that one-page homework you need for class. Gone are the days when printing in computer shops costs a lot. In fact, printing costs are now almost comparable to photocopying costs. This has led to so many households, even those with students, foregoing owning a printer altogether. They just have their stuff printed outside. We have Piso Print and other similar shops to thank for this. While it does cost "piso" to print a page, remember that that's only limited to black and white text content. Images that demand more ink consumption, as well as colored text content and images, would cost more. If you're unsure about how much your printing requirements would cost, ask first.

Piso print will pretty much print everything you need for the entire term, for a hundred bucks. It's pretty much the same as every other piso print that exists. My favorite thing about it is that it's super near the entrance of the school. There have been times where I literally forgot to print my paper while in class, so I just go outside, run off to the piso print place, and get back in time for attendance. It's smack dab in front of this minimall next to school called University Mall, so it's crazy convenient to go to. Not only that, but Piso Print also offers pretty much every other "paper" materials needed - CDs, envelopes, folders with fasteners, etc. It's a pretty convenient spot. Of course, during peak times, which are around 7:30AM before people to go school and lunchtime at around 12NN, the lines are insane. And the fact that it's outdoors make the heat unbearable sometimes. However, it's a small price to pay for how cheap your print out is.
