This place has saved me so many times!…read more There were times in college when some book I needed wasn't available in any bookstore. The only copy was in my school's library. I would run to Copylandia to have it photocopied. When my thesis partner and I had to make hundreds of copies of our survey, we would run here again. And when I needed to make several copies of sequence guides, shot lists and scripts, I'd come here. Just know that there will be times when the place is full of people all waiting for their photocopies. If you don't need it right away, they sometimes allow you to leave it overnight or leave it with them in the morning and come back in the afternoon. But hey, it's cheap and the quality is pretty good.

I can say this branch would've been my favorite photocopying place in all of Ayala. Why? Let me count the ways. One: The staff here are friendly and accommodating. There hasn't been a transaction I've made here that got my blood pressure skyrocketing to the stratosphere. They are fast, and they obviously know their machines well. Two: The line is manageable. More often than not, Photocopying services are flocked by so many people, it takes you super long waiting for your turn. And all the more annoying if you're only going to photocopy one page or two! I've never experienced that in here. You can probably blame their "hiddenness" in Greenbelt 1, which is just convenient to me altogether. Three: They can do bulk photocopying and would even cut to size for you! Of course you would have to ask that as a "favor", so be friendly. Four: They have many choices of paper quality, types and sizes. If you're in need of large photocopying services, this is the place to be. Five: Their price range is....okay, I guess. But it's a mall shop. Expect it to be higher than usual.

I don't think anyone who has ever studied in Benilde's SDA (School of Design & Arts) building has…read moregraduated without having anything printed at Dexact. They've been a fixture in this area ever since I entered college, way back when they were still located at Torre Lorenzo at Taft Ave. Currently they're located above Mini Stop beside SDA Building, which is a far better location than their previous one that was in the basement. So... I've printed EVERYTHING here back when I was in college. Well, mostly everything. I only head to other printers when their store gets packed during finals. They're fast, reliable, and the quality of their printing has never failed me, especially the colour quality. Post-college, they're still my first choice for printing services for my client work. That is, if I actually have time to head all the way to Manila. Aside from the usual prints, I really love their mounted prints. i actually don't know of any printers who provide these. If you're in need of quick wall decor, take your artwork/snap up a photo, and have it embossed mounted on sintra board (it's really inexpensive), and hang it on your wall in an hour or two.

When friends ask me where they can get professional quality prints of their calling cards,…read morebrochures, flyers, posters, and other marketing collaterals and graphic design projects, I only recommend Dexact. True, printing presses are a dime a dozen these days and they can certainly print these products without any hitch, but the problem with those is that they usually require that you print a minimum 1,000 copies (or else, they charge a monumental fee for a few copies only). Dexact will print a single copy of a magazine (as they did so for my sister for her school project), 50 copies of business cards, five copies of a poster...you get the drift. Quality wise, they win over the regular print shops, hands down. Their digital prints are highly color accurate, and they can do added effects that only the printing presses usually deliver like precision die-cutting, mounting, binding, etc. You can also choose from various specialty papers, so no need to be confined to just bond paper. Don't make the mistake of going there during Finals Week of Benilde's School of Design and Arts students, though. The place will be PACKED! Space is limited in the stop, and the printing queue can get frustrating, especially if you need a rush job. Best to call ahead to see how busy they are. Drop off your project. Then come back after an hour or two or at the end of the day.
