The bid was within the range of the others, maybe a bit lower. (No extra charge to move the refrig or kitchen table) Mostly we chose this company for its' reputation and it is local and women-owned. (Deborah and Bobbie.) We had to wait 3 plus weeks for the color we wanted to arrive. Worth the wait! It was Mohawk, cattail pecan. Installers, Ed and Johnny arrived on time this morning and were very polite and expert in their craft. They worked efficiently and were great! Love the results! The installers were presented with a very challenging installation and it was handled perfectly and rapidly. We knew we wanted new linoleum so we shopped around town & after seeing 5 showrooms we requested bids from 3 different places. Even though we had worked with Deborah 13 years ago (& she did a great job then) its a rule of ours to get at least 3 bids when it comes to making decisions for our home. I wish I can give this company 0 stars. 9 years ago we bought a fixer-upper and our real estate agent recommended Deborah to install the new tile in our kitchen. Deborah purchased the cheapest grout possible which began chipping and flaking within a month of installation. A year later we remodeled a bathroom and had time to shop around and get bids from other flooring retailers in the area. We discovered we could have gotten our kitchen tile for 30% less than what Deborah charged us. We also discovered that good grout does not chip or flake. After more than 8 years, our bathroom tile looks exactly the same as the day it was installed. read more
