Great hotel. Clean, friendly and very upscale. April, our front desk attendant was outstanding! She took very good care of us. Hasna, the attendant in the Club Lounge was exceptional as well. Always kept our table clean and offered to help us with any request. We stayed June 6 - 9 and the weather was very good. Lots of places walk to eat, mall is close by, walking distance as well. Lots of plants and a beautiful lobby!

Imagine you want to celebrate that special occasion at a five star hotel -- It's the renowned Intercontinental. So as you check into the hotel , you give grace and overlook the fact that none of the staff greet you with courtesy; but instead you are met with smug and rude attitude by Emmanuel. Then, you go to your suite and there's raw sewage bubbling up from your bathroom sink to the point that it is to the brim, and on the brink of overflowing. You report this situation to the front desk and they ask why you have an issue with that and why you would consider changing rooms. Then after waiting for maintenance to come for 20 minutes at 11:30 pm and the Manager Preston showing no sense of urgency, you say to yourself this isn't where I want to spend and celebrate Mother's Day. So you demand a full refund. Definitely would not recommend -- truly, a hard pass. FYI: Do not stay at room 2216. The club level is just an elevated Costco h'orderves tasting. So if you happen to have a Coscto Membership card you would be better off using that instead.

After such a long day and missing our connecting flight from Atlanta, we were glad we were able to get a room to get some sleep. The hotel is about a 30 minute drive from the airport but so worth it! Staff is nice, friendly, helpful, attentive and it sure made our end to a bad day much better. The hotel is beautiful, modern, clean, spacious, in a good area and close to dining, mall and other shops near by. The rooms are gorgeous, clean, nice, spacious, comfortable, give a relaxing vibe and super inviting to a nice experience. The bathroom has a tub and you get all the toiletries you may need for your stay. It was a great stay and will definitely recommend and keep in mind for future stays.

My wife and I always enjoy our time with them. In 2021 we had our wedding in their gorgeous courtyard with the waterfall in the backdrop. We've been there a number of times since as a staycation. We enjoy the spacious accommodations, the pools, unique cocktails and it's nice to have a hotel with a bathtub. This time we visited for a complimentary breakfast and it was quite a treat. Our regards to the staff, chef, and particularly the general manager, Aaron Buggs who always makes things run smoothly.

The InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta will always be special to me because this was our wedding hotel. The InterContinental was part of the biggest weekend of our lives (so far) and we made a lot of great memories here. We were very happy with our stay, including the rooms and customer service. Overall, I think this is a great Atlanta hotel. It certainly should be at or near the top of your list when considering hotels for bridal suites and wedding guests. The InterContinental was recommended to us by our planner, Jordan Xu of Emily Jordan Events (https://www.yelp.com/biz/emily-jordan-events-atlanta). Jordan is a veteran Atlanta wedding planner who I recommend and trust. Our wedding venue was the Atlanta History Center, less than two miles away. We wanted a hotel close to the venue. Jordan also recommended the Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead: https://www.yelp.com/biz/grand-hyatt-atlanta-in-buckhead-atlanta-2. Having been to a wedding at the Grand Hyatt, I thought both the InterContinental and the Grand Hyatt were great options. The two hotels are across the street from one another. I let my wife decide. Jordan and my wife toured both hotels. They took a look at guest rooms and potential bridal suites. My wife ended up liking the InterContinental better for a variety of reasons. Generally, she thought the InterContinental had a better guest experience and it looked nicer. The rates, from parking to various room types, were comparable between the InterContinental and the Grand Hyatt. Self-parking in the InterContinental's underground garage cost $31 per day ($32 was what we were quoted for the Grand Hyatt). We were able to get excellent rates for our wedding room block this year (2022): $169 per night for up to three nights. Otherwise, the standard guest rooms (Executive Rooms, 488 square feet each) cost $309 per night. So, our wedding guests saved almost 50% off the regular rate. My wife and I also got discounts on our suites. My Executive Suite (599 square feet) was $299 for one night and our Ambassador Suite (1,427 square feet) was $599 per night for two nights. Social Catering Event Manager Lisa Wetherald assisted us with our wedding room block. When one of our guests told me he wasn't able to get our block rate, I emailed Lisa. She promptly replied and switched our guest to the block rate. I appreciated Lisa's responsiveness and politeness. Excellent customer service. All of the folks we interacted with at the front desk, from check-in to check-out, were great too. Everyone was polite and friendly. We also loved our bellhop, Jermaine, who helped us load in and load out of our Ambassador Suite. We could tell Jermaine was experienced and good at what he does. My best man was also a fan of Jermaine. Nice guy. We had a portage fee of $59.50 for gift bag deliveries by Khalid. We had rooms 724 (Executive Suite) and 2103 (Ambassador Suite) on the 7th and 21st floors, respectively. Both rooms were beautiful and in terrific shape. My groomspeople and I had our "getting ready" photos taken in the Executive Suite while my wife and her bridespeople had their hair and makeup done and their photos taken in the Ambassador Suite. The living and dining room of the Ambassador Suite was an ideal hangout spot. Both suites had wonderful views of Buckhead, especially the Ambassador Suite. I visited guests in their rooms. I also spent quite a bit of time over three days catching up with guests in the lobby, lobby bar/dining area (breakfast cafe La Salla), and other common spaces of the hotel. In general, I thought the hotel was stunning and luxurious. My mom and I squeezed in a couple dance practices for our mother-son dance inside the hotel's gym and outside the hotel's Venetian Ballroom. My sister got a massage at Jurlique Spa. The hotel is pet-friendly and one of our guests brought his dog. For transportation to and from the hotel, we chartered a trolley from The Peachtree Trolley Co. (https://www.yelp.com/biz/the-peachtree-trolley-atlanta). The trolley was available for our guests as a means of transportation to and from the Atlanta History Center. Our getaway car was the Ramblin' Reck from Georgia Tech (https://www.yelp.com/biz/ramblin-reck-club-atlanta). We arrived back at the InterContinental riding in style in the historic Reck. The InterContinental has been undergoing renovations throughout 2022, so the hotel will likely be in even better shape by the time you read this review.

Great hotel in Buckhead. It has all the great things you like to see in a hotel. Valet, plenty of self-parking, beautiful lobby, lots of event space and an amazing restaurant. I havent stayed in any of the rooms but I have been here plenty of times for events and fundraisers. I could see myself doing a staycation here eventually. I also love how walkable the area is. Its near lots of stores and restaurants that you can walk to. The only con is parking is expensive.

We used two free Anniversary Night plus additional 16,000 points for our weekend staycation. This hotel is not really worth 48K per night in my opinion. Being a diamond elite, we were able to get an early check in around 1:30 pm and a late checkout at 2 pm. Got an upgrade to a king classic high floor, but seems like we got the same room we stayed in two years ago. Two quiet nights of sleep. Wanted to take a short nap on Saturday morning, but there was a wedding going on around 9:30 ~ 10ish and we could hearing someone playing the drums even from the 16th floor. Small little gym with six treadmills right beside each other, five elliptical machines and some free weights. Basic stuff for my weekend stay. Only had two issues: housekeeping came in while I was showering and we didn't call for any service... also got charged $90 for breakfast, but it was supposed to be included in my stay as an IHG diamond elite.

Itemized, clear, and transparent. A marked contrast from a hotel in the same family.

This will be an interesting review. We stayed here in November-just getting around to the review, as distance seemed a wise idea. The good: 1. The front desk was extremely helpful and courteous. We booked through Amex and the front desk had out FHR packet ready. Always nice to not have to push for FHR benefits and have them acknowleged at the outset. 2. Security was top-notch. Once upon a time, this would have meant nothing-but Buckhead has seen better days as of the date of this review, so this is a much stronger endorsement than many may appreciate. 3. The hotel was quiet. Renovations were ongoing, but they are barely noticeable. 4. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were much nicer than was probably warranted given how many people showed up just before checkout and demanded their meal quickly so they could check out. Now, for our issues: 1. By far the biggest issue was that one of the food services managers called our room phone at 2:30 a.m. to inform us that bar tab was being closed, and an 18% gratuity added (two of us had three cocktails and went to bed before midnight). I don't need to elaborate. Calling guests in the middle of the night is beyond ridiculous. We tried multiple times to close the tab, but could not get a bartender to look at us. Being ignored (which I address later) was not entirely their fault, though, because one of the managers was literally at the bar getting drunk as we tried to get our drinks and close our tab. I know she was a manager becauae she told my fiance and as much. While friendly, the staff had to devote 90% of their time to her and her friends (for obvious reasons). The staff told us out tab was closed, so we assumed this was not an issue. I will note that when we complained the next morning, the front desk staff and manager on duty checked the cameras and confirmed when we left the bar. We learned from them that another food services manager was the rude individual who called our room, and they at least comped out drinks for the headache. 2. Indifferent service. We are not demanding, but it felt like we have to run down our own check at dinner, had the issues described above at the bar, and generally had to elbow our way in to even paying our bill everywhere but the front desk. It was bizarre. 3. Dinner was very unimpressive. Just not what you expect. 4. We were constantly overcharged. At dinner, the restaurant charged us for more expensive beers that we did not have at dinner ($2 extra each-not much, but the consistency was an issue). Breakfast saw them charge my fiance for "double espresso" when she did not order that- an extra $3. Again-not excessive, but constant. Their billing is an embrassament as well. Our invoice for the stay is attached-good luck figuring out how much one item or another was, or where our $100 on-site credit was applied. Next, compare that the Crown Plaza Resort invoice from Asheville also attached to this review. The contrast makes the scamming going on at this hotel (and the efforts to conceal it obvious). Tl;dr: Stay elsewhere. You will feel like the hotel is constantly trying to pull one over on you, and there are plenty of options around where you won't have that experience.

This is a 5-star hotel but felt more like a 3-star hotel to me. First, I took one star off because parking was super expensive ($31 for overnight parking). The staff was really nice. She gave us a free upgrade to a higher floor. The lobby looks very grade with high ceiling. The room; however, needs updating. Some corners had peeling paint. The layout was weird. There is "long" hallway between the bathroom and the bed. For a 5-star hotel, they have the shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel in a shared dispensers inside the shower. I typically see this trip set up in a 3-star or lower hotels NOT expecting that is a 5 star hotel. Especially with Covid, I don't find it sanitary. They do have individual bottles near the bath tube. Other than that, the bed was comfy.

The wonderful vibe there was only improved by the superb service by Maila our server and Brie, the bartender who served us our wonderful cocktails and hand delivered them with a smile. We ordered 3 appetizers which were generous in size and 2 entrées. Here's what we got: Sticky Lamb Ribs (our favorite appetizer), sushi tots, soy glazed pork belly, shrimp and grits, and crab and calabrian chili bigoli. To drink we selected scent of a Woman, and a pineapple fizz mocktail. For dessert we ordered a strawberry shortcake creme brulee. We were stuffed by the end of the meal and very happy with our experience overall. 5Church Buckhead is a 5 star establishment and gets my two thumbs up as well. I've…read morealready written a review on Google, to which the owner replied and lied about when we arrived, which I have proof of on there. I am only writing a review on here because of their dishonest response. I booked my wedding dinner here for 18 people. We were running about half an hour late and let the restaurant know. We thought it would be fine because our reservation slot was for 2.5 hours, which is plenty of time. From the moment we arrived service was extremely slow. Drinks took forever to come and some were forgotten. My friend got a virgin raspberry mojito and it was so sour it was undrinkable. We had asked multiple times for one regular menu to order from and for some simple syrup for the mojito, neither of which we got. We pretty much had one server for our table of 18 people, and he was serving other tables as well. He told us at the start that another server would be helping but she was barely seen. It got to the point where my husband and I had to get up to talk to management. They were apologetic, gave us a bottle of rose, and asked how they can make it better. I told them that things need to be on time not just because we were approaching the end of our reservation but also because we had plans right after. Service was still slow and once we were finished we were still sitting and waiting for the check. We ended up being late to our other plans. Keep in mind this was our wedding day. We had just gotten married and everybody was in a great mood. We were nice and clearly communicated our needs even though service was lacking throughout the whole dinner. I write a review and then a day later they reply to my review, telling lies to try and discredit me. As if the poor service during dinner wasn't enough, their timing and dishonesty reflects their lack of respect for their customers. We spent over $2000 which included a 22% gratuity fee. Such a waste of money. You couldn't pay me to come here again. If you're looking for a restaurant for a wedding, proposal, anniversary, celebration, graduation, reunion, date, large party, or really anything, save yourself the trouble. They just might treat you the way we were treated, and then lie about it to try and make you look bad.

The woman was very personable and I appreciated her making sure she pronounced my name correctly :) At check-in they give you a cup of green tea and a hot towel which of course was a nice touch. My only qualm during this process was there was a group of young ladies in the lobby taking pictures that were quite literally yelling. I'm not sure if they were staying at the hotel or dining at Nobu, but this definitely interfered with the 'zen' of the place. The Room: I was put in the Porsche room which was AHMAZING. I loved the Porsche themed decor and thought the inclusion of the Bluetooth speaker + iPad was a great touch. I was able to jam out while getting ready. The bed was comfortable, A/C worked well, everything was well stocked and clean in my room so 10/10 as far as that's concerned. FYI walls are pretty thin, could hear peoples conversations across the hallway and was placed in an adjoining room and could hear them moving about through the door we shared. Amenities: This is partially why I took off a store. Their amenities were lacking for the quality of the hotel in my opinion. The gym was very bare bones and I was disappointed to hear that the 'spa' options they offered involved having to go to the gym across the walkway. I did like the offering of the Porsche drop-off service, though I didn't use it.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Dance With Me!…read more My fiancé and I have wanted to take dance classes for years, and we were thrilled to start our lessons here. Coming in with practically zero dance experience--and not much natural rhythm--I initially felt self-conscious and intimidated, but the incredibly kind and welcoming staff put me at ease right away. We've had lessons with Oscar, Tristen, and Olga, and every single session has been an absolute joy. They are not only skilled instructors, but also patient, encouraging, and so much fun to work with. Tay has also been amazing, always helping us with scheduling and making us feel right at home. It's been so exciting to see how much we've improved with each lesson. We genuinely look forward to every class, and learning to dance together has turned out to be such a fun and romantic experience. I only wish we had started sooner! The studio itself is stunning--warmly furnished, immaculately kept, and located in a convenient spot behind the mall with its own easy-to-access parking lot. The area is well-lit, safe, and never overcrowded, which makes every visit a pleasure. If you've ever considered dance lessons, do it here. Dance With Me is a class act--10/10 all the way.

I initially started taking classes to help build my confidence, but my reason for staying is entirely different. Not only am I more confident, I'm more outgoing, I'm more willing to try new things, and my anxiety over social situations have decreased drastically. The Sunday after my introductory lesson, my Pastor noticed I was carrying myself differently and made a comment about it. When I say this specific Dance With Me location has the most inviting, friendly, encouraging staff, I mean it! Everyone is welcome, and taking classes here has shown me that anybody can be a dancer. I was concerned because I'm plus sized, and I thought I might experience some limitations, but being here taught me that I was the only thing holding me back. The instructors have so much faith in us students and gently push us out of our comfort zones. If you're hesitant, I really think you should give it a try!
