Maybe, my expectations were high since the hotel was ranked pretty high among Atlanta hotels. We are checking out, leaving the hotel and overall not impressed since it's part of Autograph Collection brand and I'm on the highest elite level of Bonvoy program. It was a Christmas Day stay and I called twice to check if the restaurant will be open and food availability. Didn't work to my satisfaction. Lack of definite answers. Should be DM since the hotel was almost empty. Room was nice, clean and mattress was comfortable. Another discrepancy, it's not a big deal, the breakfast voucher point for continental breakfast, but restaurant doesn't see the same. For restaurant employees it's only a dollar value per person. Personally, I don't like when service fee or on the same check noted as charged tips were auto added. On the positive side service was a very good and food was tasty.

I slept extremely well here at the Glenn Hotel. The excellently functioning blackout drapes bought me every minute of sleep I could get before my alarm went off. I also really appreciated the motion-activated night light in the bathroom. And an empty fridge is a special blessing in any hotel room! I left to grab lunch and my room was cleaned when I returned 30 minutes later. This basically never happens in any hotel ever, and I was grateful for it. The only downside I can find about the Glenn is its location. Downtown Atlanta is not an especially fun neighborhood (go to Midtown for that). But if this is the area where you need to be, you cannot do better than the Glenn.

I love hotels that are older, smaller, and more unique than the typical stuffy hotel. The Glenn Hotel lends modern furniture and decorations to an older building. There were a few things here that were clear standouts for me: complimentary water, hand soap dispenser instead of bar soaps, a vent in the bathroom, and a thermostat in the second floor gym. The thick rug in front of the sink was a plus, but my room also had a high ceiling, a comfortable bed, and a clean room. Naturally, there were a few downsides to a smaller hotel. Since the rooms were small, there was limited storage space for clothes - a closet to hang clothes with a curtain, but no storage space for folded clothes or to hide electronics. The windows weren't soundproof so I can hear almost everything that was happening outside, which were mostly sirens, trains, and car alarms during the day. The walls shook every time someone closed their hotel room. It was more noticeable while I was in bed. The bathroom's plumbing is loud, but it lasts for less than a minute. One issue existed outside of my room: the elevators were slow, which is to be expected in older buildings, just don't ever be late. The gym on the second floor was a decent attempt. There were no weight machines, only dumbbells. In terms of equipment there was one bench, two treadmills, and a bicycle. Although It was a nice set up, the floor was poorly (cheaply?) installed. When you walked on or near it it bunched and bulged. There were dumbbells from 2.5lbs to 50lbs, but for some reason the 20lb dumbbells were missing. My Apple Watch couldn't pair with the treadmills. A few miscellaneous notes: 1) The desk chair was too low for the desk; 2) There was no microwave provided in the room; and, 3) The TV in my room had a different guest's name each night of my stay, but it never produced my name. I was a bit paranoid that my room was double booked, but it turned out to be a technical issue. I do think this is a very well built and decorated hotel and a nice place to stay. The only real inconveniences were the elevator when I was in a hurry and when people would go in and out of their room while I was trying to sleep, but I recommend staying at the Glenn Hotel in downtown Atlanta.

The Glenn isn't new go to when in Atlanta! All flights were delayed and this seemed to be the last hotel available in the entire city. Not only were they a life saver, the hotel is amazing! The staff excellent, breakfast simple and delicious and not price gouging! I definitely recommend and definitely will stay here again!!!!

Glenn Hotel is a cute boutique style hotel from Marriott's Autograph Collection. I've stayed here a couple of times for business and leisure, and every stay was enjoyable. In the lobby, there is a sign that reads, "There is a lion in every southern heart." With this in mind, you'll notice the décor throughout the hotel paying homage to lions. The décor is unique, but posh. After checking in, you're greeted by a bar and spacious sitting area to chit chat or partake in happy hour. The rooms are spacious and clean. The views aren't so great -- overlooks the city and depending which side you're on, you may get a view of the Mercedes-Benz Stadium (home of the Atlanta Falcons). The Glenn is conveniently located near lots of shops, restaurants, stores, and attractions -- Centennial Park is walking distance. Lastly, there is valet parking for $45 per day. I think this is pricey for Atlanta. I would expect that price and up for NYC and DC, but I guess Atlanta is serious about being the up and coming metro area; and the prices must align!

Came here for cocktails after an event. The service was excellent and I loved the decor in the lobby. Its located in a walkable area of downtown Atlanta so I could see myself doing a stay-cation here one day.

While visiting ATL for House in The Park in Grant Park over Labor Day weekend, my partner and I had amazing accommodations at The Glenn. The boutique hotel is in a prime location, accessible to everything. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly and personable host. As Platinum Elites, we were upgraded to a King Suite which was amazing. The interior is stunning; old meets new. And while we didn't have a chance to eat at the hotel, we did visit the rooftop bar. What an amazing view. The beds were super comfy and everythjng was very clean. Everyone greeted you with a smile and you feel welcome. When back in ATL, The Glenn will certainly be our choice for accommodations!

Glenn Hotel Atlanta, where there is a lion in every southern heart.  This stunning, ornate boutique hotel began as a 1920s landmark that is "guarded" by 39 lions atop the building. To pay homage, lion artwork is prevalent throughout the entire space from the lobby, in the elevator, and even in the rooms! Warm, inviting, casual yet charming, opulent, manicured while lavish, The Glenn Hotel is an oasis in the heart of downtown and where everyone is welcome. It's the perfect place for a vacation, staycation, or even a weekender! As the elevator says when you get to the 10th floor, "wow!"  You're greeted in the lobby with Glenn art deco tilework on the ground and follow it to the left to the large, sweeping bar filled with touches of metal, green velvet, and opulent marble. There is a lounge area around it filled with velvet chairs, booths and a large couch. If you come in from the valet area, you'll immediately see a beautiful bookcase filled with books, "there is a lion in every southern heart" sign to the right, and to the left the check-in. The check-in just as beautiful with hints of marble, lion artwork, and modern metal. It all ties together into a medley of modern and sleek without overpowering the character and charm of the traditional elements of the building. Did you know that the Glenn Hotel Atlanta was built as an office in 1923 and was named for a former Atlanta Mayor? THE PENTHOUSE! Not only is it extravagant, but it's also functional and calming. Inside you're greeted with a desk and a powder room, yes, a second bathroom! Beyond that you walk into the living space with a large blue velvet couch and round dining table, functional and stylish! In the bedroom suite, the bathroom and bedroom meld into one breathtaking room. Dual vanities, sauna and spa like shower, while the restroom has its own "room" with fun animal print wallpaper. Standing out is the soaker tub positioned in the middle of the room only separated from the bed with a glass wall. On the other side of the glass wall, the large, king bed is gorgeously flanked by two glowing pendant lights and right in the middle of a green accent wall adorned with a gold and black lion mirror. WOW! Plus, throw open all the drapes, because you can't skip the view! Being on the corner you have the same view as the Skylounge the floor above you, with 180 views or more from Mercedes Benz stadium all the way over to the Westin.  On top of the extravagace of the hotel, the staff is top notch! Impeccable service from all servers, bar tenders, and especially the manager of the bar and restaurant. The best! The location also can't be beat if you're going to a game or one of the downtown Atlanta attactions.

Recently stayed her for a week long work even with my company. The hotel is adorable! The rooms are precious! The service was perfect! No complaints at all!!

Stayed here for a work trip - the hotel staff were extremely friendly and the location was perfect proximity to all major locations and near many restaurants! Housekeeping was great and they came by each day to clean my unit (although I kept it very tidy!) and changed out towels, bedsheets, etc. I absolutely adored the rustic charm of the hotel - it used to be a bank! The room was perfect for me :)

I liked my experience here. I stayed 4 nights. In terms of amenities, it's pretty much the usual. The room was a little cramped. But the bed was SO COMFORTABLE. I've probably had the best sleep in a hotel in that bed. They have a fridge but no microwave. The reception is nice. The bar and restaurant on the first floor are open for breakfast and dinner. The bar on the rooftop is open at night and you get decent views of the downtown Atlanta area. Everything has a vintage boutique feel, which is characteristic of the Autograph Collection. I think the hotel is pricy for the amenities offered. I didn't park the car but paid parking. So based on everything, I give it 3.5 stars.

I was super excited because I've never been here but have heard nothing less than stellar things and I must say from the time I pulled up to the valet on a Friday at 4:30 in the afternoon, the staff did everything they could to make us feel like we were the only ones in the building. Luckily when I arrived things were fairly calm so getting all settled with the valet service took less than three minutes and he was kind enough to let me know exactly where to go for further assistance after asking me if I knew where I was headed. Starting off with a smile and kindness is always the way to a great experience. Once I made my way inside, I was immediately taken by the grandness of the lobby area and the front desk reception staff member was hilarious and made me feel like royalty even though I wasn't a true guest. I'm just saying, pleasant interactions can go a loooonnngggg way. She called up to my friend's room, walked me to the elevator, asked if I needed any further assistance and told me exactly how to get there. Once I got off the elevator, I fell in love with the calming lavender smell that moved through the hallway and my goodness, this place was just quiet. The room itself was spacious, the bathroom was modern and clean, and the balcony area was a nice retreat to just hang outside and enjoy a nice evening since it wasn't full on stifling GA heat that night. We called to room service several times and it was as though we called and they would just appear with what we needed in a matter of second. Pure magic. We made our way to Bar Margot for apps and drink and enjoyed the DJ for a bit before we made our way back to the room. The service was good. The food was good and they happily validated our parking so that was wonderful. Such an amazing experience here. Now I understand why folks like staying here because you truly feel like your every need is taken care of!

All the goodies were there, SF syrup, real sugar, fake sugar, creamer, oatmeal creamer. Loved this option and returned fir refills throughout out work day & it was always hot & ready! Another 5 star experience here. Let's get to the overall staff - Callie and Taral - High Five ladies!! The 2 valet guys at the front- awesome work gentlemen!!! So in all- I think a solid 4

I signed my bill for $917, which included a 22% gratuity. However, when I checked my credit card statement, I was actually charged $1055, an overcharge of $138. I immediately called the spa to report the issue. The staff initially said they were unaware of the discrepancy and would investigate. They later left me a message, and when I called back, the person assisting me did not seem to understand the issue. While looking into it, she placed me on hold and then accidentally hung up. After calling multiple times with no answer, I finally reached the front desk manager and requested to speak with the General Manager. What concerns me most is that I was told they intentionally charged the higher amount and that my bank would credit me later. I have never heard of this practice. If a guest signs for a specific amount, that should be the amount charged. This situation completely changed what was supposed to be a relaxing birthday experience into a stressful one. I am requesting that a General Manager contact me directly to resolve this issue and explain why my card was charged more than the amount I authorized. My advice to others: always check your credit card statements carefully, even at high-end properties.
