Hotel charged me $25 for parking and when their validation ticket didn't work, the garage charged another $12. When I called the front desk to correct it, they didn't believe me and told me to call the parking garage. I'm lying about a 12 charge? Caveat Emptor! Stay somewhere else read more

Overall, our stay was good. We especially liked the air conditioning -- what a concept for a hotel room with an AC that actually cooled the room! Extra points for the comfortable mattress & the water pressure in the shower! The breakfast provided a great variety! Skip the restaurant -- the French fries were room temperature, which is weird when you're sitting within 25 feet of the kitchen... The item they call "flatbread" was actually a protein bowl with too much BBQ sauce & a soggy piece of flatbread on the bottom. We can only recommend the bottled beer -- it was ice cold--the perfect treat after a long day of being a tourist! For the room price, a roll of premium TP would be nice. Scott tissue (see pic) is the same brand you get at Motel 6. (we always bring our own Cottonelle when we travel) If you do drive to this hotel, please know that the hotel has no parking on site. A parking deck is available across the street from the hotel entrance. The deck wasn't built for foot traffic (see pic). You have to enter/exit the deck via the car entry/exit lanes. The hotel charges you $30/day, which you have to wait in a frequently long line at the front desk to get "validated". (i would move the front desk due to the lines blocking the entrance) Per the parking rates posted in the deck (see pic), the rate is $12/day if you don't use your car, $25/day for in/out access. (unsure why the hotel adds $5 except for greed) Lastly, bring as few bags as possible! The thing the hotel provides as a cart (see pic) appears to be missing a few parts. read more

Extremely disappointing stay. I chose this property expecting Marriott-level service, and it fell far short. I requested daily housekeeping at check-in and followed up every day. Each time, I was told my room would be serviced. It never was. This happened three days in a row. I paid for a five-day stay and spent most of it in a dirty, unserviced room. What's worse, this didn't seem like a one-off issue. Other guests were dealing with the same thing, and staff responded by offering towels instead of actually cleaning rooms. That says a lot about the standards here. I filed a complaint and was offered 10,000 points, which does not come close to matching the experience or inconvenience. It's not an adequate response. I would not recommend staying at this property until they seriously address their service issues. read more

A new, modern, and stylish hotel, truly a pleasant surprise! This Element even has an indoor pool. Love the wooden floor in the room and bathroom. Feels almost Scandinavian. Big long window looking over a quiet back alley. Their lobby is just as pleasant. There's fruit infused water on offer. Again it's covered by light wood. Floor and walls. The whole place feels airy. They had some carved and decorated pumpkins on display. See my photos. Some are really elaborate and medal worthy. Buckhead is a nice area of Atlanta. The Element Buckhead was a great place to stay for a week while we were in Atlanta. Close to a lot of activities and eateries, clean, and the staff were excellent! We arrived right around 5pm, and they let us know there is a "Relax" and "Unwind" session/s each day, one with tea drinks and one with beer or wine. There were also little Element branded bicycles for your use. I really like that they offer these little extra amenites. We made our way to the room (King Studio), and it was very comfy and spacious. The bed was huge, there was a desk if you need to get some work done, and a full fridge, sink, and dishwasher! The sink dispensed filtered water, according to the little magnet on the it. I've never seen that before and appreciated that feature. I loved the design touches throughout the hotel and our room. Bright lime green was everywhere, along with many plants and vegetation. There were also a lot of bright lighting accents too. Definitely snapped pics of this for future inspiration myself. The bathroom was not cramped at all, and had a nice large shower. There were Pharmacopia shampoo and body wash available, which smelled amazing. The water pressure on the shower, though, could be for washing elephants, it was so strong. Maybe people love that though? Another amenity we definitely took advantage of was the daily breakfast. It wasn't just cereal and a banana, either. There were meat options each day, potatoes, eggs, and more! Definitely don't "sleep" on waking up for the great breakfast. We also checked out the pool room and the gym, and both were super modern and well kept up. If you're a swimmer or like to get your workout in, they have got you covered. I have stayed at Elements before all over the world, and this was one of the best I have experienced. If you're looking for a nice place to stay in a good area of Atlanta, definitely check out Buckhead, and the Element Buckhead! read more

11-15-24 The last time I ever use Booking.com! This had a great last minute rate and high rating. Their rating system must be unlike Yelp where they are actual reviews. Everything the other Yelp reviews are saying is true. 1. Confusing if the valet will come out even though a line of cars are waiting. Just to realize there is none, no idea what everyone was waiting for? We then drive in to a very unclearly marked parking garage. That is $12. for 24 hours but once inside hotel they will charge you $25. with validation. 2. Check in we are told there is a restaurant and bar to eat at until 10 PM. Although we attempted to enter twice it was taken over by some office party and no tables or food in sight nor staff to ask. Just some guy handing out pieces of sheet cake. 3. The room where do we begin there is a 50/50 chance this bed was only made and the sheets were recycled not clean. The pillowcase wasn't even put on the pillow properly. 4. In the modern design they opted out of having a closet nor anywhere to hang the clothes. 5. The TV has issues with the controls as I stare at the glare of the light from the tv. Do I have to tell them they need to service this too! 6. The glare from outside is so bright even with the shade down the room is aglow. I am living in hell! Unfortunately it gets worst as I prepaid for two nights. If it gets better by some miracle I will revise review other wise this no star review still will stand. Next letter to Marriott! I loved my stay here. The young lady at the front desk was so classy and sweet. Shout out to her. The room was clean, had an awesome view, and very practical with a full kitchen that included stove, refrigerator, microwave and sink (which also provides filtered water for drinking - no going thirsty here!). The bathroom was beautiful, and the shower had good hot water, but the water pressure could have been better (it wasn't terrible). They serve free breakfast and coffee here, which is a real treat because there is a chef (really awesome lady) and also a large and spacious seating area. Another treat is around dinner time they put out several hot teas (detox, relax, etc) which were good. They also have a water with lemon dispenser 24 hours which they keep fresh with ice (very convenient). There is also a bar with a very nice outdoor seating area. I found this place to be a great value for the money, and a pretty well-run place. One other thing I'd add is that the front area for cars dropping-off or picking-up is super accessible and makes things very easy to arrive/depart. read more

Beautiful hotel. I am a fan of Elements and this one did not disappoint. The gym was huge and awesome. The hotel and room was clean and quiet. There is a bar in the hotel and plenty of cool hang out spots (indoor and outdoor) on the property. The shower was the best part of the experience. The pressure and temperature were magical. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was good. Not as good as the downtown Element but still offered a nice variety. The location is convenient to shopping and dining, and the parking garage offers two no-fee EV charging stations. You still have to pay to park, but you don't pay anything additional to charge. read more

Not a great stay. Went for the indoor pool and it was ice cold. Though four different rooms asked, they wouldn't warm it up. Only one person at the front desk is nice and polite. The breakfast on the weekends is absolutely horrible One of the rooms I was checked into smelled like someone's old socks and they would not move me because "they still had people checking in" and parking is not on property. My wife and I came to town to spend Mothers Day weekend with my mother in law. We brought her to town with us. We paid for 2 rooms. The ambiance is beautiful. The staff was great with checking us in and making sure we had everything we needed. We went out for the evening to enjoy the city, have some food etc. We arrived back, finally ready to settle down for the evening and pull the sheets back to find hair in our bed and make up on the sheets. My wife called down initially and spoke with Juanita She was friendly and did the best she could in offering another room. The reason why I'm giving it a two is for two reasons. The first one being that the security guard had the audacity to call us back and tell us he was coming up to take photos and to bring us a change of sheets. Like what sir? So again Juanita offered us another room. We finally decided to just switch rooms. Though it would move us past my mother in law as well as cause us to pack up. We go check out the other room. As soon as we went in, it was just as dirty. Now it's almost 1 am. Still waiting on clean sheets to just change ours so we can get some rest. Needless to say I'll be sending an email to the GM. read more

Dirty and everyone who works there is rude and not helpful I'd never stay here again or recommend any stay there

I will preface this review with this. I have stayed at a LOT of Marriott chain hotels. Including the JW in LA. When I say this is the BEST Marriott I have ever stayed in...you can take that to the proverbial bank. When greeted at about 11PM on a long travel day for me and the wife, Derrick greeted me by name since I was his last check-in. That was a very nice and personal touch. I LOVE the virtual key. You don't need a physical key and can open the room from your Bonvoy app. The room...having status sometimes comes in handy. Derrick upgraded us to one of the larger suites. It was immaculate. Clean. Crisp. Smelled good. And we had all the amenities we needed in the room. The blackout curtains were to die for. As mentioned earlier, it was a long travel day and we needed some sleep. The gym is outstanding and modern. Good mixture and a plethora (si el Guapo) of cardio machines, weights, resistance bands, kettle bells, and free weights. It was clean and we literally watched an attendant sanitize it. Work out safe kids. The breakfast...There are the usual fares, bagels, muffins, yogurt, etc. However...get the personal chef to cook for you. I mean this. It was one of the best meals we had on our trip. It was a tostada, avocado, refried beans, wild rice, cotija cheese, and a fried egg...seriously...at a hotel?!?! And it is complementary. Tips were delivered to the chef for such a nice wakeup surprise. Chase, one of the managers, also made a couple of recommendations to ease your hunger. The bar. Oh yes. There is a bar on site. And happy hour is from 5:30-6:30 PM. Additionally, there are wine and beer options which are on the house. Ern and Kevin will be more than happy to assist you with your choice of libations. I can prattle on endlessly about how much I love this hotel, but that would be like Garfield going on about how much he loves lasagna and bore you to tears. So. Great site? Check. Great location? Check. Clean room? Check. Great amenities? Check. Most importantly, Great staff? Check. Rock. Solid. 5 stars. read more

this is a very poorly managed and maintained hotel. Management is particularly inattentive. They have a ridiculous parking situation that they cannot manage. They charge you at the front desk and then fail to validate. You then have to pay to get out of the garage and pay twice. They wont refund either. Nice, fairly new hotel operating under the Westin/Marriott umbrella. Has a great bar offering guests a free drink and munchies on M-Th evenings. The hotel also provides free afternoon tea and free breakfast. The public spaces are very inviting and comfortable including nice outdoor spaces - love the big grill that can be used by guests. Unfortunately, the outdoor spaces sit on a busy road with no fencing or landscaping to help block out the road. Pool is on the smaller size. The gym is larger than usual with equipment that you rarely see in hotels - kettle bells, bosu balls. We had a king room with a good size bathroom with a big shower only, mini kitchen (sink, fridge, microwave, dishes, flatware, glassware). The bed was super comfy. The ac/heat, however blew right over the bed so that was a little annoying. Our room was on the back side of the property - away from the busy road - and it was quiet. I would suggest trying to get a room away from that road because I can imagine you would hear that noise. The location in Buckhead is fantastic - you don't need a car if you are sticking in this area as there's plenty of things within easy walking distance (large shopping mall, restaurants, etc). Parking can be tough around here so beware if opting to bring a car. Ubers are also readily available. We took the MARTA red line train to the Buckhead station (took about 45 minutes) from the Atlanta airport (with smaller carryon size bags) and walked to Element and it could not have been easier. The lobby breakfast is pretty good - actually very decent coffee for a hotel so that was pleasant surprise. They have a fancy espresso machine but it was out of order during our stay :(. Breakfast selections are limited and the layout of things is a little scattered and hard to find things at first. They do offer a daily cooked to order item - such as French toast with fancy toppings (Nutella, berries, nuts, granola). And they also have a nice yogurt bar with various toppings. Finally, all the staff we interacted with were REALLY nice humans. read more

Experienced a comfortable, serene stay at the Element Hotel in Buckhead. From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for a great stay. Staff was pleasant, cleanliness was spotless and the location was ideal. We stayed in a King Studio, spacious enough for 2 adults, for a 1 night stay. The use of valet services were necessary because we could not find any nearby parking. What is nearby is a variety of restaurants, shopping options and services. We actually walked to The Flying Biscuit Cafe for breakfast (be sure to check my Yelp review for that :). Amenities included free breakfast with stay (the fresh herbs garden was a nice touch along with the Chobani yogurt cart), 24 hour Espresso , Coffee and Tea, fitness center, indoor pool, bar with outside seating area, and bicycles. Our bed was comfy and most importantly the room /bathroom along with linens were very clean. The bathroom products featured natural ingredients like green tea, verbena, and Shea butter. Depending on what room you get you will definitely hear traffic below, even from the 5th floor. However it did quiet down and we had a restful evening. We would definitely recommend a stay here when visiting Atlanta, GA! read more

Upon arrival I had to wait even though 4+ people acknowledged me but just stood there rather than assist me, the next guest... I thought that was strange and should've known the stay would be subpar based on that. I was given a room on the first level despite checking in right when the window opened and mentioned for safety reasons that I didn't want to be on that level- they did nothing about it aside from offer me the option to check again the next day! I walk into my room and it's at the end of the hallway next to the housekeeping headquarters, dumpster and the end of the roundabout near the parking where cars turn around with a clear view into the room along with their bright lights. I walk into my bathroom and a decent amount of the handles and shower bars were loose- this was a handicapped room mind you- terribly dangerous had someone actually needed stability- this was fixed after night one by a nice maintenance man. I asked to speak to the manager Tyrell King by this point after RJ and Rizzo? Housekeeping mgr... tried to help me and he was single handedly the least empathic and knowledgeable manager I've ever encountered. His condescending tone made no sense considering he doesn't even know the layout of his own rooms. After presenting my issues he said it was the room I paid for and nothing could be done- I kept choking things off and also asked about the blinds that didn't work and he said to find the lever- LMAO- maintenance showed me that they're battery operated- has this manager even been into the rooms? Wouldn't that be COMMON knowledge? Why couldn't he just help when I asked? My second morning I woke up before 8 to all the housekeeping and hotel staff being wildly loud until about 4-5pm... remember my room was next to their headquarters...it was insane how inconsiderate they all were knowing guests stay on that floor. I was looking forward finally getting rest until some asshat with a nonstop barking dog checked into room 132. I was at the end of the hall same floor and heard the dog as if it was in my room. This lasted for 3.5 hours- again- no one gave a shit. Jordan has no business working a hotel front desk. The breakfast is subpar, the hotel staff don't care and the hotel guests are entitled. Pay the extra money to stay elsewhere. This was by far the worst hotel experience I've had and I travel 2-5 times a month so there's many opportunities... The lack of ability to do anything by anyone is laughable and shows that no one here actually holds any kind of power- it's kinda sad and tiring to have no support when paying hundreds of dollars. RJ was nice, but a pushover and full of empty assurances. You guys need to lower your rate since the experience can't be guaranteed in all rooms available as per Tyrell King. This is the sorriest hotel I've stayed at- motel 6 woulda been better! Not having a manager on duty in the PM during weekends when you're the busiest is giving DUMB. read more

What a horrific and beyond disappointing experience I've had here at the Westin Element Buckhead. Harassment & racial profiling by the assistant GM Chase Masri, Derogatory remarks being made about me on an open radio line to staff, staff busting in my room multiple times, a filthy bathroom (dirty tub) upon check-in, numerous complaints about extremely low water pressure ignored, broken coffee machines, no service to my room until Day 4 although requested daily, no breakfast (was advised the "chef" didn't show up for work 3 days of my stay), bugs crawling at night all over the kitchenette counters, being threatened upon check-out by "management" and being told my "Gold Elite Marriott Status" doesn't mean anything there and no perks are to be honored. After 6 days & $1,000 spent, I left this property angry & speechless but my check out my was the final straw. I was told I had 2pm check-out yet received a knock on the door on the door at 12:30 that I needed to vacate the room. After I advised the gentleman I had till 2pm, the manager Chase, called my room 5 times consecutively while I was in the middle of a Corporate zoom conference call for work and had to leave my desk and mute it to address it. After the call I went downstairs to ask why I was being harassed to check-out at (now 12:40) when I had a 2pm check out and he was short, extremely rude, and dismissive. I called valet to request my car/and a bellman to help with my luggage at 2:15, then one of the staff gave me a heads up that they were talking about me publically and to check my invoice because he was laughing about adding charges to my room. At 2:15!!!! As a Gold Elite member, now Platinum Member after this stay, he charged me an $85 "late check out fee" which I am now disputing with American Express platinum membership. I took a photo of the harassing manager to send to corporate with my complaint and he than began THREATENING me! And proceeds to say "I'll show you some real legal problems if you take another picture of me" I have multiple witnesses of this! I run of fortune 500 Corporate Entertainment PR firm and I have never in my life experienced such horrific service and I travel almost weekly for business. I have spent an exuberant amount of money with Marriott and this will be rectified and addressed. The poor service, lack of cleanliness, and open harassment is not ok and falls far below the Marriott standard. read more

When I was checking in, she was managing 1) me checking in 2) helping a guest who was on the phone trying to trouble-shoot a reservation mishap 3) seeking assistance from the hotel manager on her ear buds 4) helping a guest with purchased food from the marketplace and 5) reassuring all guests in line that she would be with them shortly. The room was impressive--very clean and spacious, and we were able to spread out all of our belongings while still moving around comfortably. The mattress and pillows were high quality, the bathroom was brightly lit, and there was an organized area of the room with a sink, fridge, microwave, and closet. There was complimentary breakfast, with made-to-order French toast, bagels, and muffins the morning we were there (water, orange juice, apple juice, and cranberry juice for beverages). The hotel was very modern and the staff was extremely helpful and kind. The location was walking-distance from many restaurants and stores.
