(4/5 Stars) My family and I recently stayed at Element Atlanta Midtown, and overall, it was a fantastic experience! We were in town for business and brought along our infant, so we were looking for a place that was comfortable, convenient, and welcoming--and this hotel delivered. First Impressions & Check-In From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a fresh, inviting scent in the lobby, which set the tone for a relaxing stay. The check-in process was smooth, quick, and hassle-free, with the staff making us feel welcome right away. Room Experience Our room was spotlessly clean, well-sized, and had a modern yet simple decor that made it feel both stylish and functional. The bed was comfortable enough for a great night's sleep, and the bathroom was spacious, well-designed, and stocked with all the right amenities--exactly what you need after a long day of travel. Customer Service Every interaction with the staff was pleasant and warm, from the front desk to housekeeping. It's clear that they prioritize good service, and that really enhanced our stay. Hotel Amenities A standout feature for me was the vending area, which had a great selection of snacks, including refrigerated items--something you don't always see in hotels. It was a small but thoughtful touch that I really appreciated. Dining & Food Options While the hotel itself doesn't have a full-service restaurant, Mary Mac's Tea Room is just a five-minute walk away--and if you know, you know. Their legendary fried chicken was absolutely worth the short stroll. Location & Convenience The Midtown location was perfect--right in the mix of everything. Whether you're visiting the Georgia Aquarium, Fox Theatre, or Piedmont Park, you're in a prime spot with easy access to some of Atlanta's best attractions. Pros & Cons Loved: The refrigerated selection in the vending area--super convenient! Could Improve: The breakfast selection could use more gluten-free and dairy-free options for those with dietary restrictions. Final Thoughts We stayed here as a family for a business trip, and we wouldn't hesitate to return. Between the great location, friendly staff, and clean, comfortable rooms, it checked all the important boxes. A solid 4-star experience, and with a few tweaks to the breakfast options, it could easily be a 5-star stay! Would definitely recommend to business travelers, couples, and families looking for a modern, convenient stay in Midtown Atlanta.

Loved this hotel. I'll start by saying that I travel at least 3 times per week, for work. This stay was a quick, personal trip. The front desk staff were lovely, helpful and accommodating. Room was very clean, updated, equipped with a full size kitchen, sitting area, desk and two comfortable queen beds. Decent, walkable area in Midtown. Easy walk to a few brunch spots, coffee and the FOX Theater is directly across the street. 10 min drive to East ATL nightlife and restaurants. Will definitely return to this hotel.

I absolutely loved my stay here! Stayed here for a few days for a work trip last. The location is super convenient to get around with easy access to the freeway & Ponce de Leon. My interaction with staff was very friendly. The hotel was pristine. The room was nice & clean & I actually enjoyed the view. I stayed in a studio king on the 15th floor. Honestly this will always be my choice of hotel when I come to stay in ATL. I appreciated having such a beautiful experience!

This was a really nice hotel!! The room was clean and very spacious. I had a room with 2 queen beds and it had a couch and long desk in order to work. The room had a full refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, silverware and cooking equipment. The room didn't have the best view but we were out exploring Atlanta so we didn't need a nice view. The manager Jasmine was very friendly and welcoming. She gave us excellent customer service when she checked us in and she helped make my birthday very special! The hotel came with complementary breakfast- it was only fruit, crepes and pancakes but it was very delicious. If you want a less healthy breakfast, the hotel is connected to another Marriott where you can go downstairs for a full breakfast menu. Overall 5/5 hotel, I would stay again and I definitely recommend!

I was super excited because I've never been here but have heard nothing less than stellar things and I must say from the time I pulled up to the valet on a Friday at 4:30 in the afternoon, the staff did everything they could to make us feel like we were the only ones in the building. Luckily when I arrived things were fairly calm so getting all settled with the valet service took less than three minutes and he was kind enough to let me know exactly where to go for further assistance after asking me if I knew where I was headed. Starting off with a smile and kindness is always the way to a great experience. Once I made my way inside, I was immediately taken by the grandness of the lobby area and the front desk reception staff member was hilarious and made me feel like royalty even though I wasn't a true guest. I'm just saying, pleasant interactions can go a loooonnngggg way. She called up to my friend's room, walked me to the elevator, asked if I needed any further assistance and told me exactly how to get there. Once I got off the elevator, I fell in love with the calming lavender smell that moved through the hallway and my goodness, this place was just quiet. The room itself was spacious, the bathroom was modern and clean, and the balcony area was a nice retreat to just hang outside and enjoy a nice evening since it wasn't full on stifling GA heat that night. We called to room service several times and it was as though we called and they would just appear with what we needed in a matter of second. Pure magic. We made our way to Bar Margot for apps and drink and enjoyed the DJ for a bit before we made our way back to the room. The service was good. The food was good and they happily validated our parking so that was wonderful. Such an amazing experience here. Now I understand why folks like staying here because you truly feel like your every need is taken care of!

My friend and I were staying nearby in Buckhead and, after dinner, decided to take advantage of a beautiful Atlanta evening and walk over to the Waldorf Astoria for a nightcap. What a lovely way to end the evening. From the moment you enter, the hotel is elegant, polished and quietly luxurious. Beautiful marble floors, soaring spaces, gorgeous lighting and that unmistakable grand-hotel feeling. Parts of it reminded me of the Ritz-Carlton Grande Lakes in Orlando -- classic, sophisticated and beautifully done. We settled in for a cocktail and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Even though we weren't staying at the hotel, we were made to feel welcome, and we even had an opportunity to see a little more of the property. The hotel is gorgeous. I can't speak to the guestrooms or overnight experience because we weren't hotel guests, but as a destination for an evening cocktail in Buckhead? It absolutely did not disappoint. Sometimes you don't need an itinerary. Take the walk. Wander into the beautiful hotel. Order the nightcap. Life is too short not to travel well -- or drink well. Get out there and enjoy it.

I also stayed here a few years ago while going through a breakup and had a pretty solid stay then as well. One of the biggest positives is the location. It's in a great area as far as accessibility to the city, and there are plenty of places within walking distance. I was even able to walk to a pub that was open late and had some of the best mozzarella sticks right around the corner. I saw some reviews mentioning concerns about the area and people hanging around the hotel, but I personally didn't experience any of that during either of my stays. The main front doors were closed for most of my recent visit, possibly for security, so guests used the side entrance. There were always employees there monitoring that entrance, which I appreciated. The rooms are spacious, and I really like how some of the floors have little study and lounge areas that give the hotel a nice aesthetic. My only real complaint was a leak my mom had reported that was never addressed. It caused a dripping sound throughout the night, but thankfully we were able to close the door and tune it out. I would definitely stay here again. I'm not sure whether they normally offer free breakfast since breakfast was included with the conference, but if they don't, that would be a nice addition. I love the mirrors in the rooms but also the light near the front of our room was on a consistent dim setting like the bulb was about to blow

UPDATE #2: You can see below that the manager finally left a reply to the review. You'll see he…read moresaid nothing about the $250 this property virtually stole from me...only that I should reach out if I still have concerns over their billing practices. It seems they have no intention of doing the right thing here, so I reiterate my recommendation of not staying at this property. UPDATE: As it turns out, they DID NOT reverse the bogus charge. I'd avoid this property or you will likely fall victim to their schemes as well. I'm a Hilton loyalist...or at least I was. You can go through these reviews and you can see how I've felt in the past. I'd avoid this property if you can. There are a ton of other Hilton properties in Atlanta, so I would look at those. Not this location. The big issue I have is that they charged me $50 a night for an "Upgrade." When I called the hotel, they claimed that I asked for it. In the 23 years since I joined Hilton's loyalty program, I have NEVER asked for an upgrade. In fact, I'm a Diamond member and the member benefits say they should offer me a free upgrade if they have something available. What I believe really happened here is that I completed this stay on points and they weren't going to make as much revenue from me and an overzealous employee must have slapped it on before releasing the key to me. When I called the front desk (I had already left the property and they had failed to check me out even after going to the front desk as I left) to get my invoice, I found the extra charges. After I told the person representing themselves as a manager, they were apathetic to it and refused to reverse the charge. So I had to call corporate. While they had the hotel reverse this charge, their response has me rethinking my loyalty all together. It seems it's one sided now. But this isn't the only issue I had with this hotel. I like using Hilton's digital key. It's easy and convenient when it works. I checked in on a Friday and was able to use the digital key all weekend. On Monday, it appeared that they locked down the elevators and required keys to reach floors. Their elevators are not programmed to use digital keys. The manager at the front desk that night was less than helpful. But, I later found out that only a couple of the elevators are locked down. Others are not and it's very inconsistent. The bright spot was the staff at the Marketplace. The ladies working the registers were amazing every time I went there. The guy heating stuff could use some training though. I ordered a toasted bagel and he toasted it so hard I couldn't eat it. My teeth literally would not bite through it. The housekeeping staff was pretty good too. They at least serviced the room every day. Anyway...I find what they did, billing-wise, unethical and shady. Because of that, I cannot recommend them and am instead recommending AGAINST staying there.

The room was a very basic, so I imagine the standard rooms must be cramped. There were OK amenities like a shoe shine kit. The common areas feature beautiful furniture, artwork, and rugs. Although some were a bit wore, dingy, and frayed. There was a jelly bean display that popped up momentarily, then a sausage appetizer in the lobby before dinner time. The lounge was nicely furnished and had assorted snacks and beverages. Although I would love to see more healthy snack options. Sheraton and Renaissance has been much better about having flavored bubbly waters and natural organic snacks. There was a time where the key cards didn't work and the staff compensated by promptly escorting you to your room to let you in. Job well done in the event of issues like this. The front desk staff was very accommodating and friendly. They did get busy at times but they do a good job keeping the lines down by having multiple employees help customers. A very nice lady at the front desk sent sparkling water and chocolate covered strawberries to my room as a nice gift. I will note that they showed up quite too late so I saved them for the next day. I don't know that the hotel truly pays attention to all details, though. In my room was a fruit tray with partially eaten fruit and other trash in the room. Additionally the mini-bar and snack bar had empty spaces upon arrival so I had to go to the front desk and ensure I wouldn't be surprised charged for these on my bill later. Things like this make me wonder what else was missed.. like the shower or bedsheets. The Westin across the street seems to have better amenities and the breakfast is very good, so I'd probably stay there for future visits.

This wasn't the best experience. And to boot, the hotel tech guy came down and was zero help. Boo! The restaurant- 4 star I personally had the deviled eggs (obviously) they were good, not amazing because they were extremely salty. Yes, they had caviar atop but the salty flavor was in your face BIG! I also had the pork chops, they were a bit dry but the coleslaw on top helped ease the dryness with additional flavor. The rest of the team seemed to have liked their beet salad, fish, short ribs (I heard they were very rich) and chicken. The free coffee in the room is awesome with the kettle although, I got the free coffee in the mini store in the lobby! All the goodies were there, SF syrup, real sugar, fake sugar, creamer, oatmeal creamer. Loved this option and returned fir refills throughout out work day & it was always hot & ready!
