I came to the rooftop of the Hotel Clermont for after dinner drinks this summer with some girlfriends! It's always an iconic Atlanta spot. We found street parking across from the hotel (but there was also a valet). We took the elevator up to the top after a short wait. Once up there, it was lively but not too packed. We were able to get drinks at the bar and found a spot to hang. The cocktails were delicious and I loved the custom cups they came in! My only complaint was how crowded it ended up getting and how hot it got with the clear tent up that trapped in the heat. Other than that, love the view from the Clermont and such a fun spot!

My job had a contest and the grand prize was a one night stay at Hotel Clermont Atlanta by Olivier. Atlanta natives simply vall this The Clermont. I decided to use it in a Friday night as a refresher before my all work weekend. The location is in Midtown on Ponce De Leon. Very convenient location. It is central to a lot of businesses and restaurants. I arrived at check in and presented my paperwork for a free nights stay. I thought I would need to provide my credit card for incidentals but that was not the case. My room was a corner room. Impressive right away. I have never had a hotel room that had a hallway. Yes a hallway. The room was large and had additional seating. Let me add that this is a boutique style hotel. It has very eccentric and eclectic decor. The most amazing thing to me was the bathroom. It was huge and well laid out. There was a separate room for the toilet and to my surprise it had a windows in there. Never have I ever seen that before. I enjoyed using all of the amenities. My stay was for too short. I will definitely return. Thank you Clairmont.

Went for their Live at the Clermont feat. DJ WyldeThane and it was nice. The entrance was $5, which is good compared to other places. They have a set drink menu and I did't really like the tequila based one. I will say, this is not for dancing. Its mostly just going for drinks and talking. The music was more for ambiance and background.

So this is a really good rooftop situation. It has a pretty good view of the city and a really great skyline. If you go when it's not bright and sunny, and there's a little bit of rain there will be minimal cover so just be aware of that. The menu is okay but it's kind of limited. It's not a whole lot but pretty sure you can make something happen if you look hot enough to depending on what you're looking for as far as cocktails go. It is actually a really cool place because you have the bar in the building of the Clermont hotel, you have the rooftop bar, and you have the strip club below. So you can actually go between all three and have a good time. One thing I did notice was the fact that parking is $20 right out the gate. I was only there for maybe less than 20 minutes or so and it was still the same price. Which if you wanted to park elsewhere, you most likely have to go ahead and buy street parking around. On a nice day this wouldn't be a big deal. On the day I chose to go just happened to be raining lol. I feel like this is a really clutch place and has a really good view. It's right down the street from Ponce City market. It has a lot of places you can walk to down the street that have food and drink and everything along those lines so this is actually a good area.

Cute boutique hotel. Nice vibes. Stayed for a Friday night for my fiancé's birthday. You can definitely smell and feel how old the building is. It's been updated to have a modern historic feel. Didn't love the whole experience but it's definitely worth staying here at least once. I will be back to try Tiny Lou's, but most likely won't stay here again. I would choose a more luxury type hotel, but if you're into historic artsy vibes you should come check it out!

Beautiful, historic hotel! Loved that it had a Michelin Guide recommended French-American restaurant inside (Tiny Lou's), a gorgeous rooftop bar, and a 24/7 self serve cafe. It is also located above the famous Clermont Lounge which is a vibe. Would love to stay again!

The Hotel Clermont is a perfect blend of luxury and quirkiness. I am a horror writer, and I came to the Hotel Clermont with a writer friend, for the purpose of having a 2-day writing retreat. My friend is working on a noir mystery, and the Clermont is the perfect place for that. The whole hotel is noir! We loved writing in the hotel library. We enjoyed our stay very much! Our room was in the basement (B level) but we had plenty of sunlight from the large windows. The shower head in the shower was high enough so that I did not have to stoop to take a shower, as in some hotels (I am 6'2" tall). The bunkbeds were also long enough for a tall person. The tacos from the rooftop taco truck were excellent, and the Old Fashioneds from the rooftop bar were great. I am a coffee snob, and I loved the complimentary coffee from Jittery Joe's in the hotel lobby in the mornings. I bought a can of the Hotel Clermont Wake Up Call Coffee as a souvenir, and also because it's a damn good cup of coffee. The hotel is within easy walking distance of several good restaurants and bars. It's directly across the street from one of my favorite breakfast places, Java Jive. Ponce City Market is also within easy walking distance. I plan to come back to the Hotel Clermont for 2-day or 3-day writing retreats several times a year.

This is a GREAT little boutique hotel in a great area!! Many walkable restaurants and bars. The parking for hotel is valet and extra$$ but it's nothing I have seen in other city hotels. It was my birthday and they did a little something extra for me.. which was very much appreciated!!! The rooftop bar offers a really amazing little city scape viewing area. We loved our night cap out there.

YO! GET OVER HERE RN! The views?! Spectacular. The drinks?! Heavy handed The service?! (He was in a pirate costume and she in a nurse outfit [it was Halloween]) 10/10. The hotel was so cute. Great date night!!!

This review is for the the rooftop lounge. This rooftop is situated on top of the infamous Hotel Clermont, where there is a rooftop bar up top, ATL oldest strip club out back, a restaurant in the basement, and guest rooms everywhere in between. I came here with a few friends on a Saturday afternoon. The views here were nice. Very good vibes. There are a lot of tables and benches you're able to sit and chill with friends. The day we came was particularly windy so it wasn't too busy. The rooftop cocktails were just average, which isn't a bad thing, but the prices of the drinks definitely were on the pricier side for its quality. You'd be mainly paying for the rooftop atmosphere.

Ask the Community - Hotel Clermont Atlanta, by Oliver

Do they have heaters in the colder months?

Yes! The rooftop bar is tented and heated during the winter. Cafe lights are hung and hot toddies are on the menu!

    Is the rooftop dog friendly?

We do not currently allow dogs on the rooftop unless it is a service animal. The astroturf can be a little confusing to our furry guests.

Is there an age requirement for the rooftop?

I think they asked me for my ID before I went up the stairs... I think it's 21+?

    What's the best room here?

    Tiny Lou's!

I was super excited because I've never been here but have heard nothing less than stellar things and I must say from the time I pulled up to the valet on a Friday at 4:30 in the afternoon, the staff did everything they could to make us feel like we were the only ones in the building. Luckily when I arrived things were fairly calm so getting all settled with the valet service took less than three minutes and he was kind enough to let me know exactly where to go for further assistance after asking me if I knew where I was headed. Starting off with a smile and kindness is always the way to a great experience. Once I made my way inside, I was immediately taken by the grandness of the lobby area and the front desk reception staff member was hilarious and made me feel like royalty even though I wasn't a true guest. I'm just saying, pleasant interactions can go a loooonnngggg way. She called up to my friend's room, walked me to the elevator, asked if I needed any further assistance and told me exactly how to get there. Once I got off the elevator, I fell in love with the calming lavender smell that moved through the hallway and my goodness, this place was just quiet. The room itself was spacious, the bathroom was modern and clean, and the balcony area was a nice retreat to just hang outside and enjoy a nice evening since it wasn't full on stifling GA heat that night. We called to room service several times and it was as though we called and they would just appear with what we needed in a matter of second. Pure magic. We made our way to Bar Margot for apps and drink and enjoyed the DJ for a bit before we made our way back to the room. The service was good. The food was good and they happily validated our parking so that was wonderful. Such an amazing experience here. Now I understand why folks like staying here because you truly feel like your every need is taken care of!

After calling multiple times with no answer, I finally reached the front desk manager and requested to speak with the General Manager. What concerns me most is that I was told they intentionally charged the higher amount and that my bank would credit me later. I have never heard of this practice. If a guest signs for a specific amount, that should be the amount charged. This situation completely changed what was supposed to be a relaxing birthday experience into a stressful one.
