This was confirmed with the VA and Chat GPT said the exact same thing. But Bix Home Kian insisted it was a 2nd or investment home and up's the rate so the APR was now over 6%. When I told them to cancel the loan, they said they lowered the rate back to the original rates they quoted but, they just added in additional fees that cranked the total loan to more than $12k over the payoff. This company is totally out to cheat you out of every single penny that they can. I would highly recommend shopping around and finding a better company!

I am being held financially hostage and if you push back or question you will be told that you need to be more cooperative. Beware. Do not use. Had I not used them in the past I would think I was being scammed. I finally closed last week and my loan was supposed to be funded yesterday and today I get a call that we now have to re - close because of the incompetence of the companies. Not going to reclose. They have got to get it together. Its so insane I wouldn't believe it if it wasnt happening to me directly. NEVER USE THEM!
