Dr. Sadhu was attentive and compassionate, and for the first time in a long time, I truly felt seen and heard as a patient. When you call customer service they lie and tell you these are estimates and the doctor visit bills for just not for the time that you are there but even after you have left the clinic as she spends time on your file. Excuse me, when the medical system behaves like this, it's time to look for a doctor who cares and doesn't charge for services even after you have left. Billing is zero help to sort matters out. It is absolutely disgraceful and nobody cares about patients financial situation or health. Even after paying so much, still nothing is resolved.

They have the sweetest staff I've ever encountered, it's never a quick brush off appointment, Shawna and ketha were amazing. I was seeing Shawna up until my 36 week and she's a doll so considerate and not judgmental or questioning my choice of getting a tubal because I am done after my 2nd baby. Dr ketha was my Dr and she did my c section and it went by smoothly. She's very quick and efficient she's a rockstar and very well put together. That being said the staff was ready, patient, organized and kept everyone who was waiting at ease. The same is true once I got in to be evaluated. The nurse who set my IV (I'm sorry I forgot your name I was in a bad way) was amazing. She was finishing the tail end of a long and busy shift, but had such a great attitude and disposition it put myself, and everyone else she help in a better state of mind. Shout out to the CT technician, I don't think you can be better or more efficient at your job. And that goes for everyone else in working the ED. Upstairs staff: Dr. Kruti P. Shah took authentic interest in my situation every day, really taking the time to get to know me and my lifestyle to bulk-up/supplemet her treatment plan. So empathetic and multifaceted it was almost like having two doctors for the price of one. I can verify first hand that she gets to the point and would never play mind games with your health. My day nurse Sandie used her amazing bedside manner and her experience/expertise in the nursing field to anticipate my needs so consistently it felt like she could read my thoughts. Her close partnership with Dr Shah came through it made me take note of how much they care. It's nice to see such a close partnership in such a large facility. The biggest compliment I can give them both is the lesson I took away in doctor/nurse/patient trust. I will never forget how the trust we had will be impossible to recreate in the future. Thank you both for being so kind, compassionate and understanding during my time of pain. I will never forget it. ED staff: you are heroes and the heart of this facility. Thank you.

Was angry my husband didn't go to the ER when in fact he had just been discharged from the hospital and this was the follow up visit. My husband was very weak and this infuriated Dr. Rubbelke who did not want to care for him although my husband had been a pt. of his for 18 years! Told him in a gruff angry voice to go on hospice, Then stormed out of the examination room and told someone to get a wheelchair for him. Dr. Rubbelke did not return to the room. We left and never heard from him again. That was 2 years ago. Update- My husband is doing very well. Switched to a wonderful new PCP who took the time to review his records and get him back on his feet.

I guess some people have good experiences with him, they are lucky as that was not my experience at all. I woke up with a mild sore throat and white patches on my tonsils so I went in to see him thinking I had strep or something. Got to the exam room and when he walked in he didn't even say hello, barely glanced at me and when I told him why I came in he literally grabbed my chin and jerked my head toward him so he could TAKE LESS THAN A SECOND to look at the back of my throat. He said it's just food particles, nothing is wrong with you and he started to leave the room. I was stunned but managed to politely ask him to please look again and could I please get a swab test. He turned and finally looked at me in the most condescending way and said ma'am I know what I'm doing, I'm a dr why are you questioning me? As he's saying it, he starts to turn red and his fingers started swelling. It was so freaking weird, Like what!!?? I remember thinking to myself is this real? What in the hell did I do to piss this guy off? I had done nothing except tell him my symptoms and allow him to roughly glance at my throat. It was surreal finding myself in such a hostile environment simply for asking to be examined and my heckles started to raise. I responded by saying "respectfully I'm fully aware you're a Dr that's why I'm here but I fail to see how anyone, Dr or otherwise can assess a patient if you don't even look at them properly. Also I'm well acquainted with my tonsils, what they look like and what they feel like normally as I try and clean them at least twice a week (tonsil stones are gross so I flush them out regularly) so I'm asking could you please take another look and order a swab test because this is not normal." He actually decided arguing with me about it some more and belittling me by reminding me that he was the Dr and I was being ridiculous, was a better idea than just looking at my damn throat before he finally deigned to do it. He again grabbed my chin and roughly tilted it up as he looked, only to say it's food.. By this time I was effing angry. I know everyone says this or at least thinks this about themselves but I'm a pretty chill person and it's rare I find myself in conflict with people. I went in happy and amiable and he treated me like I was subhuman, it was absolutely disgusting and unacceptable and I told him as much (in an angry but respectful manner) he turned so red and got even puffier I thought his fingers were going to explode. Gross. I insisted on the swab and he flung out FINE! I'll send a nurse in and he left the room. A little bit later the nurse came in, I'm still fuming at what had transpired but trying to calm down. I let her know what happened, said hey I'm not sure what he's going through today but this is what just happened and he's pretty horrible. She was cool and apologetic but I also got the, yea I know he's awful but I can't say anything about it look from her. Anyway I got the swab, went home and 3 hours later had a temp of 102. Had to go to a dif practice to get prescribed antibiotics for what turned out to be tonsillitis. The new Dr (who was absolutely fabulous) was in disbelief when I mentioned what happened earlier that day and was astounded Rubbelke misidentified the white patches on my tonsils as food. Never in my life have I experienced anyone, let alone a medical professional behave that way. It was such a weird and unpleasant encounter that it stuck with me so much that I felt compelled to write a review 7 years after the fact. There are better Drs and better human beings out there than Rubbelke. Do yourself a favor and seek them out, stay far far away from this jerk.

Wanted to start the process for hip repair or replacement. Nurse Halley was very nice and considerate taking my info. She attempted to make an appointment and said there seems to be a problem and transferred me to Garrett an account specialist. He informed me I have been deleted as a patient because it has been over 3 years since I have seen Dr.Michael Bryan June 2020 actually 3 years and 6 months for COVID testing. I said to him I'm in my portal and I see over 250 lab results and over 300 physician summaries since Aug of 2005. I've been a patient over 17 years. He said he was sorry and there is nothing he can do. He then sent me to his supervisor Kassie. She said she was sorry that I was deleted from Mayo and they are not taking any new patients. I said I'm not a new patient. I said to her when I was working we were told years ago to establish a family Mayo physician with Dr. Michael Bryan so when you retire your grandfathered in for life. No body ever said to me to make sure you go in once a year to keep current. I have a portal and I read my messages. Why did I not get some reminder to come in as my 3 year inactivity would cause account deletion infact the most recent mail I have is from Carol Carrillo dated 09/28/2022 to make sure I have regular Medicare and a supplement and that Mayo does not take Advantage Medicare . I asked Kassie to speak to another supervisor and she was sorry and implied she was it. Times are changing, we are being canceled and slowly erased from existence. Retirement is not what I thought it would be.
