They are a small company (which I usually prefer) and do not have the resources to deal appropriately with insurance and billing. Those in charge of administration are not well equipped to do their jobs adequately and (at best) you will suffer financially for their inadequacies while attacking your personal character. I am canceling my services with this company and wish I would have looked elsewhere before I ended up in this mess. There are a lot of good resources out there for families with needs and the last thing a family with medically complex children needs is unexpected medical bills for services they were promised (multiple times) were covered both through AzEIP and insurance. If you are looking into Sunrise Therapy Services, your family has medical needs. You likely are overwhelmed with all the medical appointments of one or more of your family members. You need a company that helps you reduce your mental/emotional/physical load. Based on my experience, Sunrise Therapy Services will only add to those (sometimes insurmountable ) burdens. You do not need a company that does not have the resources to adequately do their administrative duties; you need a company that has a great history of communication and is able to take care of billing issues before they become big issues. Because this has not been my experience with Sunrise, I cannot recommend them. 0 stars - look elsewhere.

PT, OT, the CNA's and the overall staff were attentive, responsive ad anticipated most of my Mother's needs. She had previously been at Sante' of North Scottsdale while recovering from broken ribs when she fell/was dropped while the staff transferred her to a seat. that is where she broke her femur and returned to trauma unit at the hospital. The staff at LCCPV were much warmer, were available when we had questions.The team there felt like they were a supportive family to each other and the patients. My Mother felt more secure and cared for at LCCPV and (hooray), will be released in a couple days to come home.

They stopped giving her physical therapy because it "wasn't working" and when I came to discharge her, her muscles had atrophied so much, she was no longer ambulatory and hasn't been since. I blame this institution for my mother's physical decline. Maintaining muscles is critical for quality of life and I don't care how good the food is here, the quality of care is garbage.

Dr. Sterns was great. It was the last surgery of the day and I was the last patient. On all my paperwork I wrote that I wanted my device that was removed. I wanted is because it was in me AND IT IS MINE. It is also worth thousands and that is the reason I BELIEVE it was not returned to me. After the surgery my Dr. left and then this guy named Rich tells me that he is not giving it to me. He claimed health laws restricted it because it had my blood in it. There is no way that blood can be in it since it is a sealed device. I have a very bad back & neck and I have everything that was ever removed. I was groggy and not in the right mind as they walked me out to my truck otherwise I would have called the police for what I feel is THEFT. I WANT MY SCS / Spinal Cord Stimulator.
