The very same second cousin who never has to deal with the little brat. Cruel, I know. But I'm sure we'll get along when he's older. Anyway, when I'm stuck with him I feel guilty setting him in front of the television or computer, and that guilt drives me to take him out where he can grow into a human being, and not a robot. I usually prefer to take him to outdoor places that don't hurt my wallet, but I'm afraid of the few universal truths in this world, this is one of them: nothing beats Kiddie Cove. I think I get about as excited as the children do. The colours, the characters, the activities... it's really quite spectacular. If you suffered an unwanted pregnancy, or are burdened with a child not of your own blood, take them here and leave them here. If you really like the child, or have obligations to your godfather, take them here for a little while, and you'll bring them back brighter than they went in.

I'll start by saying the other Yelp reviews I browsed through seemed a little stingy on stars…read moreconsidering the few negatives mentioned in the text. Further, posting poor reviews because of things out of the business control seems disingenuous. Badly behaved children and noise/chaos as kids go bananas while they excitability play is part of the landscape in these places. True negatives are the lack of immediate parking, we grabbed a park around the corner, but the second car park is a walk around the block. The menu is limited, but quite adequate and the coffee is superb. The prices are reasonable, so don't sneak food or drink in, after all - it's a business that needs to make a profit to survive. The play area is larger than photos show, as it's quite deep. Certainly not as large as the other play cafes we've visited - but big and varied enough to keep legions of youngsters entertained. On the whole, this cafe is an asset to parents in the area and seems to run well. Child entrance cost is on par with the competition and food & drinks a little cheaper. Worth a visit.

We've come here a couple of times now during the summer school holidays, during the week on those delightful 39/40 degree days. This one seems to be big by Aussie standards (much smaller though than one we used to almost live at last year during the freezing months of the UK winter). On our visits I found the wacky warehouse to be clean, well maintained, and well monitored. It seems to be well air conditioned, but then we've only been in the morning and it hasn't been too busy. There are only 11 on site car parks, another reason for coming early. Weekday mornings are definitely a good time to come. I can only imagine how loud and out of control this place would get on the weekend. Also, while there are separate areas for different age groups reality is - bigger kids will stay out if the baby area because there isn't anything interesting for them in there, but the bigger kids do flow into and out of the under 5 area. Also my 20 month wasn't interested in the baby area and preferred following her 5 year old brother through the under 10 area (with me following behind) - not something I would be prepared to do if it was full. Last tip: bring your own bottled water, the fruit plate looks good, and there seems to be an ok-ish selection of food (see the photos of the menu).

The age group in this place is one to twelve years: there are twelve year old pubescent boys hammering full throttle down the same slides as toddlers. It's like a social experiment, or an episode of the Kardashians. What's going to happen? Who's going to cry? Who will poop their pants? The kids move so fast they're just a blur of brightly coloured hysteria. It's ten dollars per child to get in, not including the eight dollars fifty you have to pay for a little bowl of wedges. That's right, eight dollars fifty! A lot of parents like the madness and the noise. Being able to hold an adult conversation in the midst of this sort of chaos makes them feel empowered. I am not one of them. I'll develop my child's gross motor skills on a backyard trampoline, thank you very much.

Used to get chips salad and pies for $5.50. 2ltr jug of cordial that we're $2.50 have gone and now $2.80 for 250ml sugar drink ?? On top of entry now being $12.00 it makes it a very expensive day out. The service is very abrupt and in fact borders on being rude. It really seems like the people running it don't want to be here and the customer is one big hassle. Unfortunately after many years of enjoying this place I will NEVER come back !!

They are very…read moreCOVID19 aware, taking contact information in case of an outbreak and staff were constantly cleaning mats and poles while we were here. Very reassuring to see this business doing the right thing. The huge slide is a bit hard on the rear when assisting a youngster down. Solo older kids 6+ wouldn't care, I'm sure. It makes me wish I was 20 years younger as I followed my toddler around the padded maze! There is a seperate 'under 3's' section that my under 2 doesn't find overly interesting, as the climbing area is too difficult for her and even the small slide is too difficult a climb. In honesty, this was a poor design and should be redone at some stage. It doesn't count as a star loss though, as the usability of the rest of the huge play area means this is moot. Coffee and food is very good quality, but usually a bit slow to come out when things get busy. They would be smart to reduce the huge menu and do fewer options more efficiently. I have found the staff to be polite and accommodating. I see a poor review due to offence taken over being told to not drink bottled water bought in. This must be tricky to police as many kids use no- spill bottles that may well be filled before entering. Places like this make their $ from selling munchies and drinks after the entrance fee is paid. While the staff member may have been gruff, visitors would be well advised to go with buying drinks and food and don't bring anything in. This will avoid conflict and is the right thing to do for the long term viability of these types of businesses. So, any of my criticism is somewhat petty and largely irrelevant to enjoyment of the facility. Be sure to ring and book, it's a popular place!

As soon as we paid (a reasonable $6) and walked through the door she was off running up and down. There were a very reasonable amount of tables and chairs for adults and a massive play area for the children. We missed the train ride due to times so I cannot comment on that but it looked great and is only $2 per child. The cafe part was priced well and my soy cappa was lovely. Boo and I both got snack plates and shared dips which she loved and hubby had a burger which he enjoyed. The play equipment seemed clean, and well kept and we all enjoyed our time there. They do parties which are priced well and the party rooms looked great. All staff were friendly, dishes were cleared quickly and they were keen to help in any way. We will be back.

Entry was $7 for our baby and nothing for us to supervise (we were allowed in and to help her down things etc as shes so little. Usually the sessions are 2 hours long but as we were there in the last session and they weren't busy we were allowed to stay as long as we liked. The under 5's section has 4 main inflatable areas, one big farm jumping castle which Boo didn't go on as it was walled and we couldn't see her inside it, a globe jumping castle with slide, a basketball inflatable 'court' and a smurfs inflatable area with slide. They also had an area with big blocks etc to play with. Everything is quite safe and well placed that i wasn't concerned at all (except when she fell sideways down the slide but SHE loved that!) Boo had a ball and played so much she was exhausted when we left. The adult/big kids areas looked like a blast too and its great that they cover all ages so anyone can have fun. They have an indoor cafe and toilets etc for convenience. They take credit cards (except AMEX) and cash. There are also benches for the adults to sit and watch if they like or you can sit in the cafe area.
